Excellent Location close to Supermarkets - Bars - Restaurants - Free Shuttle Bus Stop - and Ski Pass Office. Sabine (Our Host) went above and beyond to assist us with information and the check in and check out were seamless with any enquiries answered by text immediately. Views from Apartment were outstanding.
Chambery Airport was a challenge however this had nothing to do with the Accommodation or Resort. On returning next year we will definitely be using Geneva Airport.

Excellent location close to bars & restaurants as well as really quick access to slopes
Having to organise bed linen would have been helpful if owner could have arranged this for additional cost

Our host Sabine was super friendly and accommodating, she was a pleasure to deal with. I loved the easy access to the slopes, bars and restaurants. Overall the resort has it all, amazing snow, amazing food, amazing atmosphere and the most amazing views in the Alps.

Location amazing everything you need minutes away and skiing amazing
Check out and host turned up 30 minutes early and very rude as we weren't ready!, expect you to leave it clean and tidy but you have to buy washing up liquid cloths and dishwasher tabs to be able too
A real shame as the location is superb and was a real down to the end of a great week

Best thing about Val Thoren is high altitude so ok snow (if not thin in places).
The apartment was clean and tidy enough, there was a bed in an alcove of the hall that sleeps two, plus a sofa bed that sleeps two in the lounge. Two further beds (see comment below).
Bathroom had had plenty of hot water. Shower into small bath.
Kitchen area, in working order.
Apartment was set to sleep maximum six, one room was the glass enclosed balcony which was very very cold at night, with no heating and contained two very small single beds.
Table in kitchen/lounge has draws underneath so adult legs would not fit under it.
As with most holiday resorts there was some music, loud drunk voices in the corridor and doors slamming in the early hours, but not every night.

Excellent location, everything is close and practically ski in-out. Very clean and well equipped apartment. Recently renovated. Splendid view to South and over the slopes and mountains. Very nice and helpful hosts, thank you JR and Sabine!
Not too big for a family with 2 adults and 2 teenagers but we managed quite well anyway. No wifi, at least our kids didn't manage to find one.

Good location only short walk to ski out and ski in. Lovely sunny terrace in the afternoon. Good kitchen facilities everything you need is there. Notice that there is no separate bedroom and if you are more than two you will have to sleep on the couch in the living room which is ok. We had an excellent stay. Very sweet hosts.
