Moraira is a great place and this apartment is in a superb location. It is spacious with a great wrap around terrace to enjoy the weather and the views.
We have stayed before. Unfortunately parts of the apartment are now tired - particularly the bathrooms which need money spent on them. One of the sun beds is broken. This is a shame as everything about the apartment could be stunning.

We were selling our villa in El Portet and needed to stay somewhere for three days whilst the final steps of the sale - notary etc took place. Unfortunately we chose this apartment that should have been wonderful - penthouse overlooking the sea. It turned out to be a nightmare. The apartment was dated and run down considering it was up for sale - but that's probably why the owner isn't spending any money on it.
The door to a small hall leading to a bedroom and separate bathroom had the door handle missing and a door stop was used to keep it open. If children were the other side and the door closed they would not be able to open the door from their side - that should never happen!. But our disaster started with the key to the main door being locked in door lock and couldn't be pulled out. when the door shut with my wife and I outside the apartment at 7.00pm we couldn't get back into the apartment.
We had to call a locksmith and it took him till 23.30 to eventually open the door by breaking the lock but causing no damage to the door. He informed us that the door lock had originally been installed incorrectly on an angle that caused the key to lock in the door lock. Hence a thirty minute job ended up 4 hours and because of the time of day incurred the highest costs. It cost us 447 euros plus a large tip to pay the locksmith and the agent informed us that a claim would be made and we would be recompensed. A month later and despite numerous texts to the agent (Nathalie who was based in Denia) Tonight, I have been told by the agent that the owner is awaiting an invoice from the locksmith. - Really - do you honestly expect me to believe that a month later you haven't received the invoice despite telling me on the 13th May a claim was put into the insurance company. This is no way to treat a customer. I held back from giving this review to give both the owner and agent an opportunity to sort this out but is clear they are not bothered.

This penthouse apartment had fantastic views across the sea, in fact the pictures don't do it enough justice. It was beautiful. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were good with decent showers. Apartment was centrally situated and within walking distance of all amenities.
Just a couple of points.
It was very hard to find. The main road that the apartment is on is easily reached but you can't find the apartment building. It actually has number 10 on the outside of the block but that number isnt used in the address. Look out for a block of apartments with blue balconies.
The lady who greeted us took away the kettle as it was broken so we had to use a pan to boil water.
The lighting in the living area was quite dull.
These were just minor issues and didnt take away the fact that the apartment itself was excellent.

The views are fantastic; probably one of the best terraces in Moraira. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment clean and spacious. There are 2 bathrooms, one for each bedroom both with shower. There is an additional large terrace which gives off the 2nd bedroom. The master bedroom gives onto the main very large terrace with panoramic views of the sea and pine forest. We even had "mascleta" day fireworks underneath the apartment.
It would be even better if the terrace didn't have the blue railings as this obstructs your view sitting down but this forms part of the building.

Blinds were broken in kitchen and bedroom.
The water power in the shower was very low
