We visited the area for a wedding and decided to make it a mini vacation over the long weekend. The cottage was exactly what we needed, was very comfortable and clean and the property manager was super attentive. I appreciated the labels on the light switches and the printed info on the house and area. It was close to a very nice Publix and the Bay. Definitely will stay here the next time we are in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Point Clear Cottage. The cottage is clean, quiet and comfortable. You are very close to many wonderful shops and restaurants! You have everything you need during your stay including a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Michael really is a great host and thinks of everything from "Welcome snacks" to small "white noise" machines in the bedrooms closest to the road in case you may be bothered by any noise. We will definately be back!

We moved our son to Fairhope this weekend and needed a base of operations. Mike was great to help us with that and took great care of us during our stay. Highly recommended!

This trip was for a fun girls weekend to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The cottage was perfect! Great location, clean, all the amenities, and the host was great! Definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

We stayed in the cottage for several weeks while house hunting and waiting for our house to close. We stayed more than a month and the cottage began to feel a little like home to us. Our stay at the cottage was extremely peaceful. It is in a very quiet location with horses grazing in the field behind the property. We have found the screened in back porch and covered deck area to be very relaxing on a cool evening. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean a tastefully decorated upon our arrival. The owners live local, are extremely attentive, and did everything possible to make sure we were comfortable. We would definitely reccommend Point Clear Cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat but still wants to be close to downtown Fairhope and the Beaches of the gulf coast. If you have a boat, this would be great for a boating vacation. There was plenty of room to park our boat onsite and the cottage is very close to boat ramps on the Mobile Bay. We definitely would stay here again.

Michael was extremely helpful from the time we booked until the time we left. He even helped us secure a stay at a nearby location when our plans changed and had to stay another night but his cottage had been booked. Perfect location, just outside of Fairhope and the cottage is very well kept. Will certainly stay here again when we come back.

The cottage had everything to make us feel at home. The beds were comfortable, it was very clean, the owner gave us suggestions for hiking and beaches, and had a book full of recommendations where to eat. We loved sitting on the back porch with coffee in the morning, and wine in the evening. It was very private, but close to everything. Loved it!!!

Easy to do thru vrbo

My title review says it all (or most of it). The owners, Michael and Nichole, were so attentive, even to the smallest details. They had snacks and bottled spring water waiting for us. I had a "Happy Birthday" balloon and message (this trip was a birthday getaway for me). I especially enjoyed sitting out on the screened back porch; the weather was perfect for this during most of our stay. An added bonus for me were the rain showers on the tin roof one day. I love that sound, and I get to hear it so rarely. The cottage was well appointed with anything and everything we could have wanted or needed, e.g., nice, fluffy bath towels, pillows, blankets, you name it. We didn't cook, but the kitchen had everything we needed to do so. My husband really liked the TV's in every bedroom and the family room ... Netflix whenever and wherever he wanted! Again, Michael and Nichole were extremely engaging and concerned about us, yet without being intrusive. If we ever get a chance to go back to this beautiful little corner of the world, we would surely try to book this cottage. Thank you, MIchael and Nichole, for making our stay so cozy, comfortable and quiet; it was just what we were hoping for on this trip.

This place met our needs for our visit to Fairhope. We were gone days but when back at the house it is very quiet and relaxing when there. Clean and comfortable. Our host was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to our questions.

It was peaceful and relaxing especially since we spent our time running around and sight seeing , it was easy to get cozy when we got back. It was a short drive away from a lot of beaches which was perfect for us.
