Had a great time, really enjoyed the upstairs deck.

Short but sweet. The sunset view was spectacular. The outdoor space really made the stay enjoyable. The hill was a thrill.

Overall: I would consider staying here again, but would start looking at other options first before booking here for the 2nd time. The place was clean and comfortable. We felt safe the entire time. The kitchen had all your basic necessities with some cooking utensils and basic seasonings. The kitchen utensils were hand-me-downs, but it did not affect the function. Bathrooms were stocked with towels and basic shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The thermostat was a bit of a fuss to deal with, but Morty, the property manager, was well-aware and invited assistance as needed in a prompt manner. The house itself is a bit odd in construction and layout. It's clear it was converted from the original home layout, though perhaps in a rush to start housing guests. While it did not bother us, the main issue was that some things were broken and not well-maintained. The sliding door was falling off its track, a bathroom was missing a vent fan, a light was missing a lamp shade, etc. Do not come here expecting perfection, but it was a nice place to stay and spend time with friends.

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was very beautiful and comfortable.

Celebrated my birthday weekend here and it was absolutely perfect for my group! We used the grill and kitchen to cook and the view was absolutely beautiful. Morty was responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The beach is a close drive as well. There’s also plenty of parking on the driveway and parking spaces dedicated to guests in front. The house had everything we needed!

I surprised my wife for her 40th birthday with a handful of friends that came in for the weekend and this was the perfect place for them. It is unbelievably quiet with a stunning view of the PCH and the Pacific. Morty was very accommodating--he was in the woods in Idaho or something and got on the phone with my wife to walk her through the thermostat. It's a great house, lots of different spaces, cool rooms, just a good vibe overall. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would rent from Morty again anytime!

You don’t get no phone service and it’s to far up you cannot walk to the beach and the parking is bad if you’re in a big car or truck and it’s very dark at night and the roads to get up here all small and scary

Incredible views, and great location in Malibu. Easy access to the beach and Pepperdine university.
