We loved the very short walk to get on the beach and the stunning views from the indoor and outdoor porches. Being at the end of the island was very nice too and the traffic and crowds were minimal. Definitely a great place to stay.

It doesn't get any better! Ocean out the back door. Beautiful marsh views from the front. This home was very comfortable with everything you might need for a great stay. The kitchen has everything you might need to cook for a lot of people. They have books to read, games to play, sand toys for the beach. I would love to stay here again!

This was the perfect location and home for our small family gathering. The beach access was great, and everything was very clean. We'd consider it again!

You feel like you are IN the ocean - lovely lovely lovely - cant say enough! Great location for privacy - like we had the beach to ourselves. Nature abounds - sea life, deer, birds - truly a paradise vacation at the SC coast!

We have been coming to Fripp for more than 30 years but this was our first time staying on this end of the island, which we deliberately chose based on the way the beach has eroded / shifted over time. We were very pleased with the decision and the direct beach access from the house. At high tide there was hardly any beach but it was great to hear and see the ocean. At low tide, there was amble beach for our family to run around, and it felt very private and secluded compared to the more crowded end of the island. The house was well maintained and very clean. Great layout for families. Another reviewer previously mentioned two issues to be aware of for families with young kids which I would also flag: the front door handles (facing the street) are easily accessible to toddlers, and there is no manual deadbolt or way to secure the doors, which created a safety issue. Not a deal-breaker, just required some extra vigilance or putting a chair in front of the doors. Also there are lots of delicate trinkets on the shelves . . . again, not a problem (and really lovely decorations) but something that needed to be watched throughout the stay even with a relatively calm toddler. The property management team was very responsive and efficient both before and during the stay when we had one question. Overall extremely pleased and would definitely book again for a return visit to Fripp.

This is an awesome property, great space for 4 adults and a 2 year old with room to spare. House was extremely clean, very short trip to beach and ocean views from most of the rooms too. Really a beautiful area. The house is in a quiet area of the island. If you’re looking for a lot to do other than beach and outdoors, probably not a good place for you. We were looking for a quiet beach getaway and couldn’t have asked for more. For those visiting, eating out in restaurants is not convenient! Deli at entrance to island had good options for quick food and lots of grocery needs, didn’t eat from the restaurant there. Johnson Creek Tavern is 10-15 minutes away from the home and food was excellent. The layout of the home felt very child friendly, except our 2 yr old could open door handles to front porch. Screened porch was super nice to let him roam some though. There are lots of breakable trinkets that had to be moved to make it child proof but otherwise perfect! No stairs inside to worry about and rental company provided a pack and play. Over all a fantastic vacation and would highly recommend.

Wish we had an amenity card to play golf but the owners were quite clear that this was not provided so only our fault. Beach was pristine and the home was perfect!!

House was immaculate, comfy, beautifully decorated, plenty of perfect seating inside and out...The kitchen had everything we needed and the ice machine was a wonderful bonus! Loved the option of outdoor shower. Nature abounded! Deer everywhere... we saw dolphins several times a day...and a very small shark jumping and feeding in the early evening...plus we saved an octopus that had come up too far on the rocks as the tide went out...We re-booked for next year within a week of returning!!

510 Tarpon is a great house. It is very well appointed inside and the location is excellent.

The house is perfect for our family. Great location ! We’ve been going to Fripp for 40 years and this in one of our favorite houses.
