Ideale locatie als uitvalsbasis voor het bezoeken van de wijnboerderijen. Lekker om daarna nog even bij te komen bij het zwembadje. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt. Supervriendelijke gastvrouw!

It’s a lovely place where we felt very taken care of. The room came with complementary Sherry and a hot water bottle which was perfect for the night. The breakfast was amazing and Bernice and the other staff working there were really welcoming! The WIFI worked really well!

Breakfasts were great and the location was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly.

We were woken up every morning around 7am when staff arrived to prepare for breakfast. Our rooms were next to the kitchen and the breakfast tables were set up just outside the rooms. There was no back system for load shedding which was not ideal. There was no TV in the rooms.

Very quiet location and friendly helpful staff. Home away from home.

The room was spacious and the bed was big & comfortable. The room had a heating option. The host offered us a welcoming drink. The location was near the center, but quiet. The breakfast was solid. There were cereal, fresh fruits, yoghurt, juice and muffins. We could order different kinds of eggs with bacon and vegetables. Side note: besides the hot breakfast everything was packed in plastic. It reminded us of pandemic times.

The room was directly next to the breakfast area. So we could hear people walking by and talking loudly. The hairdryer didn't work properly, it couldn't heat up the air. At breakfast we had to sit outside (temperature: nine degrees Celsius), because they didn't have enough tables in the breakfast room. This led to an awkward situation. We could see the other guests taking breakfast in the warm breakfast area, while we had to sit with our jackets on the outside.

Foot carpet in the bedroom would be nice. Solution for load shedding ( recharging lightbulbs will make a huge difference and not too expensive)

The breakfast was exceptionally with a continental and warm breakfast on offer as well. It was all delicious. I appreciate that the staff made alternative arrangements for breakfast especially because of load shedding. There was also ample refreshment in the room as well in terms of hot drink options.

Perfect location within walking distance of the town. I was very happy about the free parking right in front of the guest house as parking is a problem in Stellenbosch. I also liked to have my own keys and could access the guest house as and when I needed without inconveniencing the staff. The lounge and honesty bar made it feel like home. Cosy breakfast room and delicious food.

Bernice is highly organized, nice and welcoming! She was very well-equipped for loadshedding, so we had light and wi-fi anyway. And Stellenbosch is a beautiful town with a safe neighbourhood - the only place in South Africa, where we went out for dinner by foot and not by car.

Location was excellent. It will be my first choice when I travel to Stellenbosch again, I would prefer the outside rooms; 7 and 8. Berenice is delightful; friendly and down to earth. The staff are generally very pleasant.

I would love 1 feather pillow. I never like the milk offered in the rooms, I prefer fresh milk in a little jug in the fridge. In addition I prefer filter coffee to instant coffee in the rooms (small little filter coffee plunger). I did not like loadshedding at 8 am which is out of your control.

Very central location close to the centre of Stellenbosch. Lovely old house with comfortable beds, and beautifully decorated. There is a lounge for relaxing, a honesty bar and friendly staff. Small garden with tables and chairs, a pool and d loungers for relaxing. Full breakfast with a good choice, was good. Easy, off road parking for your car.

The rooms on either side of the front door are very noisy, as one hears all the guests coming in and out. Beautiful wooden floors, but this does make the passage far noisier. Perhaps a thick rug would help. The other rooms are very private and quiet.

We had a good stay and it was great location, only a few steps away from the entrance of the US graduation
