We stayed here only for a night for the sole reason that we did not want to miss out on visiting Darjeeling after coming so close to it….even though it was for a night only. My wife researched and found this wonderful colonial looking property at a great height and with a wonderful view of mountain ranges and valley down. It was sad that it rained all day and was cloudy enough for us not to get any view. Nonetheless, the property is wonder and the deluxe room offers to us usually has a great view from the window. Rooms were wooden and rustic look and the staff were very friendly. Mr. Manish met us at the reception and also ensured takeaway breakfast was kept ready for us since we left at 06:30 am. The property is wonderfully maintained and takes you back to those colonial Raj times with its architecture and furnishings. A must visit in Darjeeling if you want to stay away from the hustles of the valley and up in the mountains fora comfortable stay with wonderful views.

This hotel comes with complimentary buffet breakfast which has a sufficient spread. The in-house buffet dinner caters for a reasonable spread of indian cuisine which is well cooked and tasty. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful in booking the taxi for the guests.

The daily cleaning of the room is not well followed up. I stayed there for 3 nights and the bed was never done up and towels not changed even once. This is rather disappointing.

The Inn is beautiful and in an excellent location for views. We walked to and from the town central area in 20 minutes or less, but there is also a hotel vehicle that will take you there and pick you up. We loved the room, which had a little sitting area and large windows. The restaurant is reasonably good if you don't want to go into town.

The hotel's credit card machines did not work with international credit cards. We had cards from the US and Germany, and none worked so we paid cash. We had pre-paid for the room so this was just for the restaurant. It was good that we had cash with us, as it would have taken time to find an ATM and we were leaving for the airport.

The staff is very good and always ready to help. The location of the Hotel is fantastic.

The room rates are not value for money. The bathroom layout is faulty but rectificación is possible. Beds are not comfortable.

Due to the foggy weather we could not see the mountains. But this gives a reason to come back.
