The house was clean, bed was comfortable and it felt like home. We enjoyed the privacy of the pool and the location is very close to the beach. The fenced in backyard was good for our small dog.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar. The area is still recovering from the hurricane so there is not a lot to do in Mexico Beach which led to many trips to/from Port St. Joe. Ultimately, this is a great place if you're looking for a relaxing getaway without the large crowd.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Sand Dollar House. It was clean and the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom were spacious and the kitchen had lots of extras that came in handy. The beds were quite comfortable and the bedsheets and pillows were great quality. A couple of things need some attention The pool doesn’t have a hand bar at all and the sliding door in the master that leads out to the pool and backyard is difficult to open and close . Be aware that although this is a rental, the owner has a boat in storage on the property which he assumes is not an issue when he or his friends decide to take it out. This happened with no phone call or warning whatsoever. It was an issue, seeing as I had a dog, and the gate was constantly opened. It was also a privacy concern with the swimming pool obviously being inside the backyard. This, however, was quickly resolved after calling the property management company.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sand Dollar. Everything was stocked and ready to use in the kitchen. The house is bigger than you would think. We were close to the beach and everything in the area. We had a small issue with the go kart which was quickly remedied that day and the owners which live locally, were kind enough to allow us use of the go kart without cost for the remainder of trip for our troubles. if you’re looking for a great spot that is as advertised and operated by real people that care about the property and the people visiting the Sand Dollar will not disappoint. We would definitely return to stay at the Sand Dollar again.

The home was exactly as described in listing. Home was very clean. Close to the beach. The golf cart was an added plus but can walk to the beach easily. Home was equipped with everything you needed to cook clean and enjoy your stay. The pool was very clean. Outdoor space was great. Looking forward to booking here again in the future.

My family enjoyed staying at the Sand Dollar House. The lay out is perfect for two small families with younger kids. It would also be great for a family and grandparents. The pool was perfect for after the beach or for a day at the house resting from the beach. We all slept well each night. The house was perfectly clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Very thankful for a great house for our trip.

Wonderful location very close drive or short golf cart ride to beautiful beaches. Lots of local eats and shops in Mexico beach or nearby port st. Joe. House itself was very clean and well kept. Pool was great, back patio was decent. Some weeds but otherwise very well maintained. Back slider needs new wheels or taken off and reinstalled. We had an issue with the golf cart but they came and fixed it within a day or so. We loved it and will certainly consider coming back to this same house!

Property was satisfactory, misleading on the only patio door to the backyard was through the master bedroom, which was inconvenient for cooking etc. no adult yard games, some for kids. Pool was clean and cooling . Convenient location to beach and shops.

Super Clean, well kept, exceptionally stocked and loved. I stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this is one of the best. Pool was great. Golf cart was perfect. Access to beach is perfect. Typically in beach rentals there is a honey-do list of items that need repair…BUT NOT “The Sand Dollar” as it is named. Everything is in perfect working order. Someone really cares for and loves this home.

Our experience with renting the Sand Dollar house in Mexico Beach was very good everything went very good. Everything went smooth the home meet all our expectations will definitely be returning.

The property was amazing. Very clean and well maintained. My only word to future travelers is to bring toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent. Those items were minimal…otherwise well stocked.

There was only one small roll of paper towels. Not enough for 4 people. There was 3 small rolls of toilet paper for the 2 bathrooms. Not enough for 4 people. Asking to start the laundry for them upon our departure was a bit much. We were on vacation. There was a partially eaten hot pocket under the couch situated on the outside wall. Disgusting. Showed the place was not thoroughly cleaned. When the sprinklers came on about 3:50, there was a terrible noise that stayed on until about 5:00, when the sprinklers went off. Woke up the adults in the master bedroom every morning. Someone picked up the owners boat and did not make sure the gate was closed. Or else someone stole it. Have no idea. The walk to the beach was longer than listed. Whenever was using the master bathroom and you were in the other bedroom, it was very noisy. Woke someone up in the middle of the night, twice. We had a nice time because we made the best of things. We will not be returning for another vacation.

Wonderful stay at the Sand Dollar! Kids loved the pool in the backyard and the golf cart was perfect to get to the beach! Even had chairs and toys for us to enjoy at the beach! Hope to be back!

The home was great for our family. It had everything we needed for our stay. It felt like a home away from home. Ofcourse the pool was the main pull to choose this home, and it did not disappoint. We were thankful for it and enjoyed our stay very much.

My family and I had a great time. The property was very updated, spacious, and clean. Easy drive to the beach especially with the golf cart. I contacted the owner and she promptly returned my call. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is exactly as promised and pictured. It is several blocks off the beach, but with the golf cart and multiple beach access points, it was really not a big deal. The pool is new and clean. Lovely laid back beach community.

Everything was just as described. We came down for a long work weekend cleaning up old family property. We always opt to stay at MB. The pool was also very nice 👍

Great experience. When heat went out, the property manager got service immediately. Very spacious and only 6 blocks from the beach.

Besides having a difficult time with the door code, it was a fantastic place to rest and relax. Very private and quiet. Could spend months here, away from Minnesota cold and snow.

Beautiful and clean. The only complaint is the grill didn’t work.

My daughters, my neice, and myself stayed at this property as a last getaway before my oldest daughter gets married. We loved this place and will be back again.

The Sand dollar was amazing- perfect for our Granddaughters-they spent time at the beach, came back and relaxed at the pool. The sand Dollar has been completely renovated, well stocked, beach toys, golf cart-everything you need for a getaway or an extended stay

My friends and I had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The weather was perfect. We had all the amenities we could ask for. You can't go wrong with the house.
