It was a beautiful, clean home with plenty of privacy. We loved the convenient location to the Nantahala River and activities. It was a very easy check in and check out. The house was equipped with all we needed as well. We really enjoyed it and had a great stay! We would definitely do it again.

We enjoyed the house. It is a little bit of a trek to get to it. The rain did dampen our spirits a bit but we found things to do. As I noted to Mngrs, the kitchen sink leaks and I tried to cut off the water at the valves but they do not work properly.

My family of 5 stayed here for our spring break. It was the perfect spot. Beautiful home, perfect view. Checking in and out was very easy. Communication was excellent with owner. House was clean. Plenty of cookware, for the nights/mornings you want to cook. We would definitely stay here again. Oh and the drive up to the home isn't as bad as I thought, just a little rough. Just take it easy! Location for our vacay was PERFECT! Went to the wsterfalls, so very beautiful. Visited Cheerokee, was a little disappointed bc the village was closed, only open in the summer. Plenty of shops! Just not what I expected. Our last day we went to The Tunnel To Nowhere, that was pretty cool. And I would definitely recommend checking out Sheffield Mining. The guy that helped us was amazing and the kids absolutely enjoyed that experience. Location 5 ⭐ 's House 5 ⭐ 's

The cabin was perfect for our group of two couples with kids and had a beautiful view. We had a great visit and enjoyed the large porches, hot tub, and open layout that was still cozy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions. Thank you!

Perfect for our trout fishing trip. Just a few minutes from the water. This house has a nice layout and is very cozy. The host was always quick to respond and seemed happy to assist.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location. We had a wonderful time. The road up tested our nerve a bit but we got used to it. Could update suggestion book with attractions and supply locations that are close by, we discovered more places to visit on our own that were not an hour’s drive away. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.

From booking to check-out I couldn’t ask for a better mini-vacation. Tucked away high in the mountains, very comfortable beds, well furnished and supplied, and still close to excellent hiking of all levels. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, cooked on the grill and just had a very relaxing 3 days. Thanks to our excellent hosts for providing guidance throughout the experience!!

Loved this efficient cabin in the North Carolina woods. The area had tons of fun activities (zip lining, rafting, boat rentals, lake swimming, tubing, Smokey Mountains National Park) and the cabin was a comfortable retreat after an active day. Totally enjoyed our three week stay. Some mechanical issues were resolved promptly by the owners.

Everything went great. There was a couple washed out areas in the road to the cabin, but nothing we couldn’t handle. The upstairs bathroom was pretty small. But other then that it was great.

We loved this cabin. Every bedroom was comfortable, cozy and clean and we enjoyed every minute of our stay there!

We greatly enjoyed our time in this well designed, extra clean and comfortable cabin. Didn't use the upstairs, but it looks great for a larger group. Loved the quiet, private feeling location. It is up the ridge a bit (a good thing as it offers a nice view of Lake Fontan) but a very short drive from the main road and very close to Bryson City, Nantahala and favorite fly-fishing streams in nearby Graham County. So my family and I came here from middle Tennessee for the weekend of 4/22-4/25. The only gripe, which is a small one was the lack of warning of the driveway/road to the cabin. We had our 4x4 truck so we were fine. A small car however or maybe a van could struggle. Some parts are decent gravel but other area are rutted and poorly maintained. Also steep and sharp turns. But that’s no biggie. We had a great time. The Cabin is newer but feels very rustic and charming. The decks are amazing and the outdoor seating was great. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you could need. Tons of windows and natural light. Plenty of sleeping and seating and dining area for a family of 5. It was 18 minutes to Bryson city and tons of local outdoor activities. The master bedroom mattress could use an upgrade. If you like stiff beds, maybe it’s for you but not us lol. We would definitely recommend and stay here again! -Matthew

Absolutly gorgerouse view. Enjoyed waking up to sit in hot tub and watch the sunrise and the view of the lake. plenty of room and view beautiful cabin.....loved being on top of the mountian.

We really enjoyed the cabin! We were on a family get-away. It was a wonderful place to relax! We grilled, we soaked in the hot tub (which was blissful), and explored the area. We had a lovely time!

We stayed here to celebrate me twins birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Between the beautiful views, hot tub and hills to climb my kids had a blast. We enjoyed nights by the campfire making s’mores and drinking hot chocolate. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Stayed at this cabin for a late fall color weekend in the Smokies. The cabin was lovely, simple, clean, well-appointed, with great decks on both levels. Happily for us it was not bear themed!! It is less than an hour from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, both stunning in the fall. Lovely to come back to such a comfortable spot. Hosts were easy to work with. We would happily visit again!

The property was perfect--looks brand new and is very well kept and clean. There was plenty of space for the family and dog. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the appliances were like new. While we didn't use the hot-tub, this also looked brand new and well kept. The firepit and outdoor seating was a bonus and was relaxing with a beautiful view. Listing description is spot on--would need to drive to most places but can reach a coffee spot in 5 min or grocery store in ~15 min. Would recommend arriving in daylight, but was possible to get there in the middle of the night. Was an overall outstanding place to stay!

This was a great spot for a girls weekend get away. On top of the mountain and close to the sweet little town of Bryson City and rafting.

What a charming place with a fantastic porch. You feel like you’re in a tree house. The house was extremely clean and well appointed. Located just a quick drive to Bryson City and one of Smokey Mtn National Park entrances. Great hiking nearby!

Owners were very nice. Property was in good proximity to everything we wanted to do. Nice and clean, as well. Would recommend to others.

Overall the cabin was great, but needed instructions to use tv.

The house is lovely and in a a great location. We were able to enjoy solitude and adventure. We worked and schooled from the location and the internet was adequate, though sometimes spotty. We did lose power several times during our stay. While the owners were responsive and courteous initially, they were became accusatory and angry. After check out, they accused us of not declaring our dogs (that we’re clearly discussed in our initial conversations in writing). They said there was dog hair in the hot tub and accused us of putting the dogs in the hot tub, which we surely did not. There was a broken bin in the fridge when we arrived and they accused (did not ask) us of breaking it. Regardless, we said because we did not declare it when we arrived, we said we would pay for it. The bar to the hot tub holder broke when we placed the cover into the holder. It was clear there was some previous damage to the holder given the easy break. Also, regardless, we offered to pay for it but they said they would need to buy an entirely new cover now. The list can go on. We are generally pretty laid back people and would just assume pay for a small item rather than fight about it. We’ve stayed at many short term rentals in the past and only received 5 stars. We were taken aback and disappointed in how the owners approached us. I might suggest if you are considering renting this house and have pets, to find a different location as I do not see the expectations for renting to pets aligning with the reality of hosting pets. Overall, the area was lovely and we had a fantastic month. The sour note the rental ended on was unfortunate.
