Everything you could hope for as a traveler passing thru flying in an out of Costa Rica. Breakfast, pool area, quiet, great staff, and free shuttle to the airport.

It was close to the airport as we had one night between flights. Easy to walk to things and Uber was easy to navigate to things a bit further away

It was a little run down, paint chipping on the walls in the room. They offered free airport shuttle service but later found out it was only for one way.

We came in after midnight but they acknowledged this beforehand and we had an easy drop off of our car in the gated/locked parking lot about a block away. Even that late the walk was safe(I’m a California guy for reference). I left my family in the hotel/room with the bags while I parked. Only passed one Daryl on the way back. He wouldn’t be a problem for anyone, Costa Rica still seems to be filled with very nice people at most social levels.

Close to the airport was the most important because we had an early morning flight out. We had to leave so early, there was no breakfast available yet. The room was very basic just for sleeping.

It's time to retire the sheets and put some new ones in place. I believe a decent sheet, blanket and pillow can make all the difference. We reserved a suite with three beds for three men. Upon arrival, our friend (distraught because he just lost his wife to cancer) thought he'd reserved a room a week before. The staff could not locate his reservation for some reason and they said the hotel was full. He wanted to be with us, his friends of 30 years. He was willing to sleep on a roll-away bed or even a chase lounge from pool area. Staff said, "... NO! You must find another hotel. There are others nearby." Staff was not very helpful in allowing us 4 old friends to stay with each other or find our sad friend a room. Most hotels hold back a couple rooms in case someone important shows up, or for situations like ours. This hotel did not.

Stayed here for one night before leaving San Jose. A little dated inside but has everything you need. Easy transfer from airport and basic breakfast in the morning.

If you book through booking.com you need to pay in cash. This should be specified more clearly in description/message before your stay.

Genial brekfast, you can find all what you need. We arrived in the night so we could have also the evening tea with our own bread. Room air conditioner and sealing ventilator is a good idea, little bit to loud ))), the bathroom was clean.

the room from the size would be for 2 persons, not for three like it was in our case. The wardrobe was so old and poor that we could not place anything inside, scaring that it goes crashed ))).

The location was great (very close to the airport) and the communication ahead of time was fantastic. The taxi from the airport is a little confusing, but Jose provided detailed instructions and we were able to figure it out (me and my travel companion arrived at two different times). Since we needed two rides from the airport, only the first was free, but the second was a flat rate that the hotel took care of with the taxi company and charged us for - I really appreciated that when arriving at a place where you aren't sure you can trust the drivers.

Breakfast could have had a few more options, but it was fine.

free shuttle is a hassle as the taxis at airport will not want to take you to the property because of the low fare that the hotel pays. I took an Uber and the hotel reimbursed me which should probably be the standard.

Easy airport trip

Free transportation to the airport. Our group did not stay overnight. We only occupied the rooms for 8 hrs while waiting for our red-eye flight home. Rooms worked out well for all of us to rest, nap, shower, walk town, eat, etc.

This is perfect place to stay to get to and from the airport. It's only 5-10 minutes away (depending on traffic) and the shuttle service was prompt and reliable. Also close to banks, restaurants, etc. Rooms are basic but clean, and even had a small refridgerator. Air conditioner helped block out sound of traffic. Breakfast was decent - would have been nice to be able to get a to go box for catching early morning flight.

We stayed here two nights, once when we arrived and once when we left. The first room we were in (maybe 303?) had an older air conditioner unit that dripped condensation after being on all night. The bedside table got all wet and even a few drips on the mattress. We had no idea this was going to happen and were very lucky nothing got damaged on the nightstand. This air conditioner unit should be replaced. Seems they are aware of this issue as the bedside lamps under the unit had plastic over the shades to protect them from water damage.
