The location is gorgeous. You wake up to Mt Fuji literally at your doorstep. The cabin was clean and had a small kitchen, which was very convenient.

The check-in time was very rigid. We arrived by bus from Tokyo at 2 pm but could not check in until 3 pm. There was nowhere to store our luggage, so we had to either walk the 35 minutes back into town with our luggage or wait out the front for an hour. It would have been good if there were some storage lockers for luggage.

we had problem with the water heater in the bathroom. As this is a self contained, there is no staff on site. we tried to message them to ask for help, as our family can’t shower at all with the cold freezing running water. but sad to said, no one responded to us. And maybe due to off peak season, we are kinda of like the only family staying in the whole premise. So we can’t reached out to anyone for help too. The staff managing should be responsive. we message them at evening time, but no one can respond to us. A disappointing indeed.
