Power cut on first day

Friendly owners. Location very near Dambulla bus station (5 min walk). Comfy bed.

Hole in the wall in the bathroom letting the insects in. Wobbly toilet. WiFi not great. No plugs near the bed.

Very friendly hosts, juice on arrival, able to take us to the Dambulla Caves via tuk tuk for no extra cost

Air conditioner unfortunately wasn't working properly as hadn't been in use for awhile, and pool was out of action for our stay (but we were told is back in action at our check out)

The Pool was very nice and some of the staff brought us watermelon juice to the Pool, that was really sweet. The staff was so nice and friendly and drove us to a restaurant nearby in the evening because it rained so much. They also prepared a delicious and rich srilankan Breakfast for us.

The owner did not know about our booking, so the staff weren't prepared, but they did everything to make it comfy for us. We also got an room update. Also the owner did not respond to our Email, that should inform him about our late arrival.

Amazingly beautiful house on the back of Dambulla, far enough to be away from the noise, but close enough to reach all that you need! The pool 😍 The people, they are the best! They’ll do all they can to make you feel at home, and give you any information on things to around! The location is perfect to visit all the spots around The food 😍 breakfast, diner, all you can dream of!

Very friendly and helpful family. Rooms are big and have an ac, which is highly recommended. Pool usage is possible against a fee. I had a wonderful stay and would come back anytime!

We had a great stay at this family run guest house. the family went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed, and the breakfast was fantastic. the property is very peaceful, but still a short walk from the Dambulla main strip. we used their uncles pool on the property next door for a small fee. there’s is a balcony and living area upstairs for the guests to use. I definitely recommend staying here.

Amazing hosts, so nice and kind-hearted, you are like in a family! Kavin helped us a lot 🙂🙂🙂 He took as to the cave temple for free, found a scooter for as, dropped to the bus station. The breakfast was truly amazing, various, with local dishes, to big for two person and super delicious))) Villa has a beautiful garden, it’s 5-10 minutes to bus station and main road, but it’s quiet, peaceful and with a good view from the roof (you can even see Sigeria)! Highly recommended ❤️

Nice breakfast, always at least a couple of dishes to choose from. Big rooms with a lot of space for luggge, etc. The greatest thing about the stay was how kind and helpful the hosts were, they helped to organise local tours and arranged transport to our next location. Amazingly hospitable family, with very generous and delicious breakfasts. We also ordered a very tasty dinner, which was prepared by the mother of the family. Very clean place, host free ща charge took us by tuk-tuk to the local temple and then to the bus. The place is very quiet and pleasant.

The host family is friendly and served us delicious Sri Lankan Rice and Curry as dinner. Also the breakfast was good. Room was good with nice painting. The AC was working good and the bed was comfy. We had a very good time in Dambulla because the owner family arranged rides to the temples and a safari to Hurulu Eco Park for us. Looking forward to visiting you guys again!

In the beginning we found it a bit hard to communicate due to language issues but all has been talked well when we met the owners son who was fluent in English. Be sure to watch for the large board saying "gold crown residence >>> 40m" because this is the small road to take. Then it's easy to find. We were sent walking to the back side of the whole area by gps navigation which turned out to be a bad idea in high noon heat. Road signs over Smartphone navigation is key ;)

The location is perfect, the room was super spacious, the water pressure and temperature were the best in Sri Lanka (and I’ve travelled the whole country) The food was outstanding. I literally ate their Coconut Sambol with every meal!! IT IS to die for ❤️ I originally was planning to stay for 1 night, but stayed for 3 instead. They helped me to arrange a bike rental, when literally there were no scooters available in the area. and the scooter was a brand new Honda! So I was able to take day trips to sigirya and pollonaruwa by myself, saving $ on the driver option. They even did my laundry on request. Amazing, very hospitable and kind family. Don’t even look any further! This is your perfect place to stay in Dambulla amd sigirya area! 🙌🏽

The rooms are very comfortable and modern and true food is excellent! What really stood out was the staff! They went out of their way by giving me an early morning breakfast before I took a tuk tuk to Sigiryia and they even braved the busy bus terminal on a religious holiday to navigate a seat on the bus for me! I couldn’t be more grateful to the family that runs this hotel and I strongly recommend it for your visit to Sigiryia, the Dambulla Rock Temple, and a 1 minute walk from the bus terminal.
