Lukewarm water at basement level. Air fresheners in bathrooms need a rethink as unexpectedly received a blast to the side of the head. Clientele not to my taste, but this is no fault of the hostel.

Booked mixed room with 4 bed, the room window facing a block, there is huge noice from the outside where there is aircon next to the window maybe? Couldn’t get proper sleep for consecutive 3nights and some frying oil smell through the window all the time, spotted huge cockroach next to our bed, there is one staff extremely rude / the big guy/ who treating and surveying guests like they are in prison camp or something during the breakfast time.

Best room I have stayed in during my trip through New Zealand and Australia. Shower and bathroom were beautiful.

Best hostel I’ve been to, very modern, clean, good breakfast, kitchen, great clean showers, pool is small but the outdoor area is nice, with a gym, ps4 games, and chill zone. Hostel feels like a hotel, great vibes people seem happy here. Staff are lovely, competent & helpful. Great area next to shops and short walk to the centre.

The pool needs more cleaning management found a beer lid at the bottom and flies but this is not the hotels fault :)

Fantastic breakfast included and adequate private room great for exploring Brisbane.

Private rooms should have clothes hangers.

J'ai dû changer de chambre après la 1ere nuit car elle était en sous sol avec des fenêtres non ouvrables et une odeur particulière. Demandez une chambre dans les étages et vous serez tranquilles. Absence de lieu calme pour passer des appels. Casiers individuels dans la chambre pas assez nombreux.

the pods where you sleep in are great! very comfortable and each pod comes with a plug and a light so you don't really get disturbed during the night even in the shared bedrooms

there was no hot water in the female showers - I stayed for 4 days and each day the water was cold also the staff, unfortunately, didn't really keep up with the bathrooms. there was always something missing (toilet paper, soap or paper towels)

I liked everything of the hostel. The hostel is really clean, the staff really nice and the breakfast included really good. The position is perfect: 5 minutes walking to the central station. I had a great time there. Really recommend!

As seen in pictures (pool narrower than photos show). Clean, tidy, good vibes. Location amazing. - 5 mins from the maim station - so central. Staff awesome too. Complimentry towel n basic breakfast.

Very friendly staff, the pod was larger than I thought with safety locker and some extra space to keep my stuff. The breakfast they provide is also very good.

Not enough toilet and shower facility considering the number of guests. The pod was not cleaner than expected when I first arrived.

Nice, clean and modern, good location. Staff at reception were super nice and very helpful!

AC seemed a bit temperamental, we were always too hot or too cold despite it being on one temp the whole time!

Didn’t feel like a typical hostel. Had lovely, luxurious finishes and a lovely pool in a great location!

For backpackers, this place is ideal. Full of people to connect, ready to hang out and socialise. Location is very good!

For a couple or people looking for a nice rest, this place is definitely not ideal. Majority of the people staying are backpackers or young tourists ready to party so the hotel is always noisy until late. The breakfast is also really poor so we even skipped the second day and went for eating outside. The pool is way too small and not comfortable to be there chilling.

Personeel was heel vriendelijk.

Er zaten overal kakkerlakken in onze kamer. Iedere nacht hebben wij dit aangegeven, maar er werd niks mee gedaan. Uiteindelijk hebben we zelf de kakkerlakken moeten vangen en naar buiten moeten gooien. Daarnaast kon je niet aan het zwembad liggen en was het ontbijt echt heel matig (cornflakes en brood met jam).

Common areas are not bad. They seem clean.

The room is full of mold and humidity. The smell inside the room is disgusting and unhealthy. We left the room before our departure because we couldn't sleep.

Zimmer sind funktionell, aber man hat endlich mal etwas Ablagefläche und muss nicht alles auf den Boden legen, das fand ich super! USB + usb C charger direkt am Bett + Nachtlicht. Großer Spiegel im Zimmer, auch nicht Standard. Duschen sind super! Sogar mit Brause zum Abnehmen. Lage ist auch gut, in ein paar Minuten ist man an der central train station, ein paar Minuten weiter in der Einkaufsstraße. Man sollte nur beachten, dass man einen kleinen Hügel hoch muss zur Unterkunft, wenn man aus der Innenstadt kommt. Frühstück ist mit drin, Müsli + Joghurt und Toast mit vegemite oder Marmelade. Total ausreichend und man sitzt in der gemütlichen common area und kommt mit anderen in Kontakt, wenn man möchte.

Lovely staff, good amenities

Had to walk two levels with suitcase and walk through the public bathroom to get to the toilet. Room was freezing and needed to borrow the aircon remote from reception as they only had one and then I had to return it. Felt dirty, with half empty shampoo bottles in the shower. Shower was hot and cold - couldn’t find a comfortable temperature. Was expensive for what it was compared to another hotel I stayed at in Brisbane with a better location on this trip. No glasses in the room, had one small fridge. Bed was just a mattress on the floor.

4 share bedroom with ensuite was comfortable. Good beds, lockers in the room. Good location for walking into the CBD. Good free breakfast.

Most visitors were long stayers/ on working visas. Unfortunately made the entire hostel feel anti social, as the group was so large they tended to take over the whole social area and didn’t engage in any conversation with others. Not the best for solo travellers wanting to meet people on their travels. The kitchen area was also always a bit grubby and flies everywhere.

Had a great time

Heel vriendelijk personeel. We moesten niet wachten op onze kamer, maar konden meteen inchecken toen we een aantal uren voor de check-in aankwamen. Omdat we heel vroeg moesten vertrekken, mochten we al vroeger ontbijt pakken.

Het zwembad is heel klein

You must know, that it is a backpackers hostel. One half of the guest go showering and talking loudly until 3am, the other half gets up at 5am. So better be prepared

Très bel hostel, bien situé, avec dortoirs très grands et confortables. Les rideaux, la table et l’espace pour ranger les affaires sont un plus dans le confort des dortoirs. Bel équipement de sport et jolie piscine. Aussi, dès l’arrivée on se sent bien grâce à un chaleureux accueil du personnel: mention spéciale à Karima qui m’a non seulement bien accueillie dès le début mais m’a aussi donné plein de précieux conseils et son sourire quotidien donne plein d’énergie :)

Cuisine trop petite par rapport au nombre, pas assez de toilettes/douches par étages

- Near central station - Free breakfast - Plenty of bathrooms, we’ve not had to wait or queue which is unusual for hostels

- LOTS of long term residents. - No room in fridges/cupboards due to above. - Washing up always left in the sink. - Long term guests work here and break the rules therefore feel you can’t mention anything to reception. - Personal speakers everywhere! Despite the house rules we were sat in an area with 3 different people playing their speakers. Our room was next to men’s bathroom and there was someone showering with speakers full blast in the early hours. - Lots of weed smoking, despite drugs also being against the house rules. - Do not stay here after a flight as you will not sleep because of the noise. - They have a list of rules for guests and they are not followed at all, but there’s no real staff to implement. - Rude girl working breakfast, asked a question and got a half answered stroppy response, she was more interested in chatting to the boys. - Most guests are young and French, so if you are not French it is not sociable at all. - There was a bar above the bunk bed which restricts access and makes in harder to get in and out of bed without bashing yourself. - Tap/shower in men’s bathroom makes horrible squealing noise (as we were in the room next door this was very frustrating especially during the night) - No mirrors in bedroom. - Only one small table and chair in a twin room. - The 24hr reception isn’t exactly 24hr, was woken up one day by the bell constantly ringing as no one around.
