Our family loved this house! It is very clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was updated and well stocked. The ocean views were amazing! The host was very friendly and responsive! Easy check in and check out. We’re already dreaming of when we can stay here again.

We've been coming to OBX several times a year since the pandemic started and we've finally found a house we'd definitely like to return to! We loved the view of the ocean, the light sound of the waves, the kind and communicative host, the well appointed kitchen, the great board games and the perfect location. We'll definitely be back!

The house is clean, fully stocked with most items you need including beach gear, and is just steps to the ocean! We had a great time at the beach and hanging out at the house in the hot tub and nice backyard. It’s also close to everything in Kitty Hawk so there are plenty of restaurants and other activities. Our family loved the house and had an awesome trip!

This was our first trip to Outer Banks and there was much to see and do. We will be back! The house was PERFECT. Great location to the beach and sites. Beautiful home with everything we needed. Howard was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Sunrise to Sunset! 💙☀️

Property is well cared for and was very clean upon arrival. Home has all that one needs, and more. Kitchen was well-appointed and even had martini, champagne and wine glasses. Many games and movies. Hot tub and fire pit were nice touches. Communications were good with owner. Comfortable, with ocean view. We will be back.

House is located in an ideal spot. You can hear and see the surf and the beach is right across the beach. Grocery stores, breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants are close by. The house was well stocked. The communication from the owners was great. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. The location was perfect. You're on the beach in just a few short minutes. Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. It was great not to have to bring those items from home. Thanks again for a comfortable stay.

This was a wonderful getaway for my 2 friends and I! Beautiful spot and although the weather didn't co-operate for our 4 day stay, we had a great time exploring the area and enjoying our time in this well supplied and beautifully furnished cottage. Would highly recommend it! The hosts of this property go above and beyond any and all needs.

The perfect North Carolina beach bunglow Kitchen is VERY well equipped and the living area offered several entertainment options. Close to everything in Kitty Hawk and KDH. Will book again for a small family gathering.

We had a wonderful stay at Howard's property. The place has a wonderful view and vibe and so many extras provided (pack n play for baby, kids beach toys, etc.). Howard was very responsive and hospitable. Would definitely stay again!

The house was lovely and perfect!

Five stars, across the board. If you are even considering, just hit the button, you will not regret it. The property was extremely neat and tidy, I would say even better than the photos. We brought a few specialty items from home that we thought we might need, but never unpacked them because the house had every tool and gadget you could possibly think of. The owners clearly love their house and take great care to make it comfortable for guests. With all of the windows, the light in the house was spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the front deck watching and listening to the waves. With two teens, we really appreciated that there was enough couch and lounging space for all 4 of us adult-sized people to stretch out and find a comfortable spot. Great DVD collection - we enjoyed exposing our kids to a few the old classics. Communication with Howard was perfect - he clearly has the process down to science and always responded promptly and with great care. This made every step of the stay so easy. Thank you for opening up your home. We would stay here again in a heartbeat when we make it back to the area.

Sunrise Sunset is the perfect set up for a family vacation. A pack n play, stroller, high chair, tons of beach toys, and an open concept living area was so helpful with two young kids. Being able to see and hear the ocean from the front deck was a great place to relax for tired parents. The hot tub was a huge hit with everyone. The home is a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to some great restaurants. 3 minute drive to grocery stores and the perfect launch point for various OBX destinations. Howard is a generous, communicative host and the home is beautiful, clean, updated, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time! The home is clean and beautiful, and is obviously a well-loved personal home. The view of the beach is awesome, and the house is within striking distance of the whole island!

Absolutely loved our stay! Howard was an excellent host, the house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and we felt right at home. Also, the sunrise was a perfect treat each morning! The beach was only a few minute walk and there was plenty of beach supplies in the utility room, if needed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in OBX.

We loved how this house felt like a family’s home and not just a rental. There were so many personal touches throughout the home and it was obvious the owners care about it. We’re very picky about cleanliness and this house highly met our standards. The A/C kept us cool despite the heat wave that week. Close proximity to the beach is extremely important to us and it was only a couple minutes walk to the beach access. Everything we needed for the beach and home was available and there was literally nothing additional we wished the house had provided. Howard was super responsive and an awesome host. We highly recommend Sunrise to Sunset!!

This is one of the best beach house we have ever stayed. Everything is clean and organized. The owner has beach stuffs and everything that let us fully enjoy days at the OB beach. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.

Everything you need for a wonderful stay at the beach! The kitchen was well stocked and very organized. The 2 decks were perfect for shade and breezes during different parts of the day. Nice views from the deck and inside the house. A short walk to the beach and chairs and toys were a nice touch. This is one of the most comfortable houses we’ve vacationed in. I look forward to coming back!

A wonderful place to relax and kick back. Gorgeous views, across the street from the beach, convenient location for exploring many places on the Outer Banks. The house has everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen; comfy couches, lounging/reading chairs, and beds; a large dining table as well as kitchen island with chairs; nice outdoor deck furniture and hot tub), beach gear (boogie boards, chairs, shade tent), washer/dryer, etc. The entire house is modern, clean, and airy. There were five women in our group, each with different interests, and the house made it easy to accommodate them all. The owner was nice, helpful, and quick to respond to our questions. We agreed it was one of the best vacation rentals experiences we have ever had. It was so easy to settle in and so hard to leave!

What a beautiful home. It was a little chilly our first couple of days so the hot tub on the back porch was so nice. Watching the sunrise and set on the front porch and having easy access to the beach was perfect. Howard was so responsive and even gave us recommendations of where to eat and go for our very first trip to OBX. We will definitely stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our vacation stay in this wonderful cottage that is steps from the ocean. This place is nicely decorated and newly renovated. We love the modern new kitchen and layout of the place. The large living room had many sofas to lay around and the opens to large dining room and sitting area to view the ocean. The front porch had Spectacular views. Oh yeah, forgot about the hot tub and the beautiful sunset views in the rear porch to enjoy each evening. Thanks Howard

We were extremely lucky to find a place like this; it is from top to bottom, sunrise to sunset, the best place we've stayed in the Outer Banks. Not only is the house just a few steps from the ocean, but the views in the morning are spectacular. Also, the house has literally everything you could ever need. It's clear how much the owners love and adore the house; every little detail was thoughtful. We communicated with Howard quite a bit and he's awesome. Really good people, really good house; five stars are not enough.

Howard was a great host who provided not only an amazing rental for our first experience in the Outer Banks but also awesome recommendations for dining. The home was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The view from the front porch was outstanding for the morning sunrise and the hot tub was wonderful for the evening. Howard was in great communication during our entire stay. The proximity of the house to the beach was great with a kiddo. Access to local restaurants, sites and shopping is perfect. Quick to anywhere. Amazing time away and already talking about returning!

We had a great time. The house was as described/pictured. The natural lighting in the great room and proximity to public beach access were superb. Checkin/access was effortless. Communication with the host before, during, and after our stay was excellent. Proximity to open stores/restaurants during off-peak season was very beneficial. Centrally located for exploring north (30 min to Corolla) and south (30 min to Bodie Island lighthouse or NC Aquarium).

The place was gorgeous and perfect for my group of 4. The property and neighborhood was the right amount of beach and home-feel! Howard was great and provided awesome reassurance (especially since we landed with a lot of high winds) despite the weather, it was a great vacation time! :)

My wife and I spent a great four days here. Beach access was convenient. The view was spectacular and the hot tub was a plus. We hope to go back again!
