We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was perfect for us. We attended a wedding at Old Edwards and we were so close to town. My son even caught a few fish right in the back yard.

We loved this rental! The location was great—a beautiful and relaxing spot that we enjoyed in all kinds of weather. The cozy sunroom was nice for views of the lake on a rainy day. We spent a lot of time in the lovely backyard. The extra space that the additional small cabin provided was a big bonus. We hope to rent this property again.

This home was the perfect setting for my husband and I, where we celebrated our wedding with friends and family for the weekend. The owners are as sweet as can be, and were very accommodating if there was anything we needed. If you are looking for a tranquil and comfortable place to stay in Highlands, look no further!

Lovely property, perfectly maintained, very close to downtown Highlands. The owner checked n several times to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Cozy , well decorated and very private. Enjoyed every moment !

Property was exactly as pictured and super clean. Very comfy beds, cozy furniture, well-equipped kitchen. Amazing view whether you are inside or out and it was very relaxing to be right on the water. Great location - it was only a short drive into town, though we found it hard to leave! :) We enjoyed everything about this property and would not hesitate to return!

We stayed with another family and the place was wonderful for our get away! The home is so well furnished and decorated! Plenty of room and very cozy! The lake was a bonus with the canoes and paddle boat! Our boys loved it and loved also their own cabin. Great yard and swing! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place. The communication too was amazing! Location outstanding! Highly recommend!

Can say enough good things about this house. It's beautifully updated, very clean and so comfortable. The sunroom off the back is excellent and the detached bunkhouse provides a little private getaway for anyone in your group. The access to Mirror Lake is literally feet outside your back door and the proximity to town is bout as close as you can get (5 mins max).

We have stayed at a number of properties in the Mirror Lake community and will definitely rent this property again. Mirror Lake has numerous cabins and homes dating back to the ‘30s and ‘40s and Little Joe Cabin reflects the character and quaintness of this community. But, the home also has every modern conveniences needed to ensure a relaxed vacation. We canoed, took long walks and longer naps in the hammock. Town is only a couple of minutes away with great shops and restaurants. A perfect getaway!

Our second time renting this comfortable, thoughtfully-equipped property as an extended family. Everyone loves the beautiful view of the lake and the lush lawn that invites outdoor play and naps in the hammock. Fishing, canoeing and paddle boating keeps everyone occupied while at the property, but downtown Highlands with dining and shopping is only five minutes away! Lots of well-documented hiking trails are also just minutes away. The owners are gracious to a fault and have thought of everything you need. The small cabin on the property is a rustic and charming bonus! We are so happy to have discovered Mirror Lake and Little Jo Cabin!

We love the two cottages on this property. Being on Mirror Lake is a great bonus. It’s a very peaceful location and a short drive to downtown Highlands.

We had a fabulous stay in your lovely home. The house was clean, cozy and perfectly situated outside of town, you felt removed enough to relax like you were in the middle of nowhere but you were close enough to town to run out for a coffee. The backyard was absolutely dreamy, my kids never wanted to leave. We were able to get to several easy (young kids) hikes within 30 minutes. This house was absolutely perfect for your family, and my sister really appreciated the separate cottage. We can't wait to return!

Wonderful cabin, very nicely appointed, beautiful views of Mirror Lake. We loved the back porch and the views of the lake. Close to town, but private. Master bedroom was lovely with a very comfortable bed and french doors that opened to the deck and the lake. Nice deck with nearby firepit. Kitchen was well stocked and provisioned. We loved this cabin and will be back.

We absolutely loved this home and the location couldn't be better - so close to downtown. The home was very comfortable with ample room (loved the sun porch for coffee), very clean and nicely decorated. We can't wait to come back!

This place is nothing short of amazing! We spent our mornings drinking coffee, overlooking the lake from the most cozy room and watching the ever faithful ducks swim by. Our mid day was filled with gathering in the well appointed and generously stocked kitchen, chatting and cooking foods our kids would never touch ;) The evenings were spent gabbing, playing games and watching black and white movies next to the super cozy fire. This house is filled with the coolest features from it's heyday like sliding windows, a fabulous rain chain, the most awesome fire place, etc. It rained, a lot, so we didn't go out much, but the house is close to town so a pop in for the forgotten item was easy. Absolutely LOVED everything about this stay!

Really enjoyed this property. It was perfect for our family. Decor was pretty. Home was well maintained and clean and view was beautiful. It was odd though that there was a second small place on the property not mentioned in the description and upon our arrival other renters were using the shared yard.

We loved our time on Mirror Lake. The house had everything our family of five needed to spend quality time together. Our girls (9, 7 and almost 4) enjoyed playing in the yard and canoeing in the lake. The house was very close to town, which made popping out easy. Highly recommend the property!

Beautiful home located directly on Mirror Lake. Exquisitely decorated. Sunroom overlooking the lake which was perfect for am coffee while watching the ducks swim by. We also enjoyed the canoes and paddleboat provided with the rental. Located close to town and restaurants. We've been visiting Highlands each fall for the past 18 years and this has been our favorite place to stay!

Just returned having spent a wonderful weekend there celebrating my mother's 75th. A perfect spot! Have stayed in Highlands many times, but none of the other places have had the same charm and ease. Enjoyed the fire pit with a glass of wine, watched the ducks float by on Mirror Lake with coffee in the sun room each morning, canoed around the lake, and built fires in the cozy family room each evening. Picturesque, peaceful and easy--just what we were looking for. Super close to town and every need what provided for. Many thanks!
