Such a quiet beautiful cabin close to many activities! Warm and spacious with very comfortable rooms and thoughtful upgrades. Stayed two nights with some friends and while dodging rain most of the weekend, a cozy fire and comfy chairs when we returned each day made for some great conversations and laughs. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and fully stocked with anything we could need! Close to great kayaking opportunities, a short drive to art galleries, wineries and shopping. Fun trip and this cabin made it all possible!

Fran and Al were so lovely to stay with. Perfect cottage up north to enjoy with friends. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Fran and Al!

Simple quiet home convenient to everything in Door County 15-45 minutes to any location

The cabin was perfect for my wife and I and another couple while visiting Door County. The centralized location made it easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. You can tell the owners take pride in the place, and they should. It's a great little cabin!

We absolutely love this property. Everything was super clean and all the furnishings were very comfortable. Great ambiance - to the point one of our party said “I could live here”. We were privileged to meet and visit with Al and Fran. Great people and hosts!!

The Quilted Log cabin is a true gem and a perfect place for families or couples looking for peace and quiet in a cozy home environment. My adult daughters and I stayed here for a 3 day weekend and wished we had booked it for longer. After a full day of hiking and being outdoors, it was such a wonderful place to come back to with all the comforts of home. We cooked a couple meals during our stay and really enjoyed the coziness and comfort of the home. It is clear that the owners put a lot of love and hard work into the place. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and the added bonus was that we were able to meet the owners, who simply couldn’t have been nicer. We will definitely be visiting again!

Wonderful long weekend experience at the Quilted Log! Our group of 4 stayed for a long fall weekend l. Fran and Al were fantastic with communication. The house is spotless, with plenty of room and lovely seasonal touches and decorations. We enjoyed being nestled in the woods/ but still a short drive to the cities :-)

My husband and I stayed at Fran and Al's cabin during our third trip to Door County. It was a wonderfully comfortable place to return to after a long day of hiking. It felt like everything had been carefully considered for the comfort of guests who were away from home. There were areas to enjoy both inside and outside of the cabin, which were especially appreciated due to the beautiful weather we had during our visit. We would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys getting away from the busyness of the touristy areas. It's very quiet, private and comfortable.

Very well kept cabin in the woods. Everything was perfect and the owners are very sweet. Although you are a little bit away from from Fish Creek and other little towns, it doesn’t take long to get anywhere. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a little extra room for family!

We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a quiet setting at the end of a busy day sightseeing. This log cabin was just beautiful and we enjoyed meeting Fran and Al. This place is a real gem!

Location was close enough to all the small towns (about 25 minutes) but far enough to get away from the summer crowds. Overall I felt it was a good deal for our family and would probably return in the future if we are going back to Door County!

Great rural location a short distance from Egg Harbor to the west and Baileys Harbor to the east. Kid-friendly. Remodeled kitchen had all necessary amenities.

This cabin has everything you need. It’s centrally located with just a short drive to all of the parks. Fran was very responsive and checked in to make sure we were doing okay. The only thing that caught us off guard was the well water, which we opted not to drink or cook with.

The cabin was very clean and cozy! It was on a nice size property and very quiet. Just what our family needed for a couple days away together. A good location in Door County close to everything we wanted to do and see. Thanks guys for making it a great stay! We will definitely be considering this cabin again for future stays!

The cabin was clean and very well set up for a nice stay with our kids. They contacted us a sufficient amount, but not too much. My daughter left something behind and they were kind enough to mail it back to us. I would highly recommend them in the future.

This cabin was perfect for our family! It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything you could need. Towels were included. The washer and dryer were very handy. The location is nice and quiet but very convenient to 42 so you are not far from everything. Fran and Al were great and very attentive! We loved sitting on the front porch in the morning enjoying the peace and quiet. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very clean, quiet and lovely

This cabin is in a peaceful, quiet area. Within minutes of shopping and restaurants. It has a very nice yard with room to play bocce or trac ball. It’s also very nice for just relaxing and enjoying the quiet. Myself, my daughter and three teenage granddaughters loved our stay here. We were extremely impressed and happy about how clean the cabin was. Fran and Al did not scrimp on accommodations either. The sheets are better quality and the towels are better quality. Full bottles of hand soap and dish soap, you never see that. In this cabin the statement “fully stocked kitchen “ is true. Fran and Al have thought of everything to make your stay easy and comfortable. We had the pleasure of meeting Fran and Al and they are super nice people. Very easy to talk to and very accommodating. We have stayed in MANY vacation rentals over the years and this one is at the top of my list. We will be back. Thank you Fran and Al Anita B

Beautiful log cabin in the heart of door county. My friends and I needed a place away from all the noise of the towns, and we found it. In my mind, the cabin is in the perfect location, 7 minutes from Jacksonport, and 15 minutes away from egg harbor. There’s a great backyard for plenty of activities, and plenty of trees for a hammock. Fran and Al were very welcoming, and accommodating hosts. I inadvertently left my toiletry bag (toothbrush, deodorant, ect) at the cabin. Fran called me and (seeing that I was too far away to turn around) offered to send it back to me in the mail. They are great hosts, with a great property, I would highly recommend this VRBO if you are looking for a quiet weekend, with plenty of options for things to do.
