L'appartement est vraiment très sympa, bien décoré et bien équipé.

Le grand lit est un peu trop mou pour nous (histoire de goût). Le bémol : l'insonorisation.

The only thing I like is the two bedrooms! Stayed end of Jun, very disappointed with the arrangement of the owner (or his agent). Upon booking I requested to check in around 9-10pm because we cannot estimate our time by own driving! The owner mentioned check in hour is from 3-8pm. Fine, we understand and will accommodate to the rule! We messaged the owner before we depart from Pau if we can check in around 730pm at 730pm and was told we cannot be later than 730pm or will be fined 30euros! I wasn’t aware that I was cheated/threatened until I read the rules in their post next day after check in (the post clearly mentioned that the fine to be imposed after 8pm). Around 1130am the agent text me to remind me that I cannot check in later than 730pm or else they will fine me 30euros! We drove from Pau (France) to San Sebastián but due to cross country I don’t have WiFi coverage until reach Spain border at Hondarribia around 430pm! At 430pm (after I can resume online), I msg the lady Mari (she cannot speaks/converse in English, so non-Spanish speaker pls avoid this to save your hassle) if I can check in earlier because we will depart earlier from Hondarribia (due to raining and I have small children with me so I decided to leave Hondarribia earlier). Unfortunately there’s no reply from Mari the agent, and owner told me unit is ready for us to check in! So I reached the apartment at 6pm! And no one is there to assist us! Mari cannot appear and only can meet us at 7pm to check in! I have to wait at downstairs for an hour with 3 children (11, 6 & 3 years old) with a car with us. Disappointment is we need to rush our trip to avoid fine that incur by your side if we are late! Because of this hefty penalty, we tried our best to rush there early, But there’s no confirmation if your agent can welcome us if we come earlier. This is not a fair rule, especially to foreigner who is not familiar to Spain..

1) Far to old town, need at least 15min walking distance 2) Dirty washing machine (full of dust on the cover) and bad smell inside (I have to clean before use), dirty corner and kitchen appliances esp the disgusting kettle (rusted and still with water inside)! 3) Car park is far away from the building (cross the street near to mall nearby)! 4) Funny thing is the owner blocked me in whatsapp after a few conversation, only converse with me using booking.com. I didn't think much until I realized the previous msg I sent to owner cannot pass thru but passport copy can pass thru! That means the owner unblock me when request for passport copy for registration, then blocked me again! Hilarious!! First time ever in my life encountering this unpleasant experience traveling around the world. 5) The agent took only one adult passport copy, and told us everything is alright! But sent me msg while I was having dinner with 3 kids (around 830pm) to send another adult passport copy to owner. I told her nicely that I will send later because having late dinner after waiting the agent for an hour in the car. Mari told me her working hour is over and sending the passport copy to owner is not her responsibility anymore 😂! That’s so hard to forward a msg! Unbelievable the working attitude! Add on: The owner commented in his reply, that we refused to submit another passport (the agent took only one passport, and they claimed need two adult passports, so I immediately sent him another passport after finished my dinner! Due to he blocked me in whatsapp, so I was so uncomfortable with his style and afraid of scam and deleted my passport in whatsapp after he claimed successfully register! Refer the photo, he asked me to send photo and in about 30min he claimed successfully registered! So his information in his reply is not true that we didn’t cooperate and he report to authority! Please read for the truth!

Very helpful and efficient check with Maria. Good communication from her. Very well equipped modern apartment. Clean and very comfy. Parking was about 10 mins walk away and was very secure and underground. The apartment was about 25 min walk from the beach and centre of San Sebastián but there was a good local bus service. Plenty of local bars, cafes and even pinxtos. Would highly recommend La Sebastiana. Fantastic old bar with very good pinxtos. We often ended up here after a day out in the centre.

The parking was a nightmare! There were no signs and poor lighting. So easy to get lost.

Clean and recently refurbished. 30 min walk to city center and harbor. Would use it again. Host was very forthcoming and was in contact with us to make sure everything is ok

The host met us at the apartment and gave great information of the place and showed us to the parking area. Everything went smoothly

Nothing, it was perfect

The security is excellent, as is the free parking only a short walk away. The location, is a 20 minute walk from the centre of town which can be done along the riverside or along the boulevards. The buses are close by, easy to use and cheap at a flat 1.80€ per ride. In very close proximity are a large supermarket, numerous pinxha bars, tobacconists, coffee shops, cake shops and much more. The apartment itself easily accommodated 4 adults (a couple and 2 adult children who shared the twin room). Kitchen had all the necessary items for cooking if you desire and a large fridge. Big bathroom with Italian shower was welcome, as was the large balcony from which you can see the famous peak at the north end of La Concha beach. The owner was very attentive, spoke French, English, Spanish and was a font of local knowledge. I highly recommend this property.

It's sound insulation is minimal and you can hear everything from the neighbors on the side and above.
