Brookland has become one of our yearly trips and yet again we had a fantastic stay. We will never get bored of those views! It’s a great house with everything you could need provided. We’ve already booked for next year! Robin is a great host and communication is always fantastic.

We found Brooklands clean, bright and comfortable with good WiFi, linens and kitchenware. It is right on the straits and virtually under the Menai Bridge. The town is a 5 minute walk away and has a good selection of restaurants and bars, facilities and activities. Waitrose is also conveniently only 5 minutes away. A visit to Church Island and a trip with RibRide are recommended.

Amazing views of Menai Bridge. Property comfortably. We had everything that we needed. Parking a few minutes walk away from property. Central for shops and restaurants. Good communication from the owner.

Spent four days here in February and it was perfect. The views were stunning from every room. The property is so well equipped with everything you may need, it was a real "home from home". We thought not being able to park outside might be a problem, but the parking space is only a 2 minutes walk away and really secure. Overall, a great stay and we will return

The house had everything you could have wished for, a real home from home. It was so cosy and very clean. Stunning views of Menai Straits and easy walk into town. We walked to Church Island as recommended by owner and it was really worth it, very interesting and easy walk. We also took the short drive to Beaumaris, a really pretty place with castle and pier and nice shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

It's a very nice cosy house. Fabulous views over the Menai Strait and Bridge. Such a beautiful ever changing picture in front of you. Good local pubs serving good food within walking distance. Great shower and a lovely deep bath. We liked staying here so much we've booked it again in 2 weeks time.

I travel regularly and this was one of those ‘more than just a place to stay’ properties. The views across the Menai Straits and of the bridge made it an experience in itself. Clean and tidy, the house was well prepared for my arrival. The heating was on I was provided with all the information I needed for my short stay (three nights) Dedicated parking space a minutes walk away, but any loading and unloading is possible behind the property. Everything is as described and I would certainly recommend this property.

This was perhaps the most comfortable accommodation I have stayed in. I knew the position of the property and was not disappointed. A great retreat.

We couldn't ask for a better setting for a short break - right on the water front. We were impressed with the thought of what was put into what was there for us in the house so we didn't have to go and buy things for a one off use. Notes emailled prior to the visit, and also printed off and avaliable in the house to refer to. We would definitely stay here again if possible.

Super property - very comfortable . Constantly enjoying the views from most rooms. Greatly located as we had family to meet up in Bangor Beaumaris.

Had an amazing time

Obviously the main attraction of the property for us is the location. It is right on the banks of the Staits and next to the suspension bridge, the view is fantastic from all the main rooms in the property and a balcony/ patio what more could you ask. The property is clean, comfortable and cosy. Not modern but everything you need is available from maps to dishwasher, we certainly wanted for nothing. The location is also ideal to explore the island and the mainland. PERFECT!

A lovely homely feel to the house. Great views! Extremely well equipped and comfortable. Location great, and parking space a real bonus for Menai. The only suggestion from us would be for the terrace, patio area, & steps down to the road to be kept cut back a little. We couldn't use the steps comfortably, as they are a little overgrown with brambles etc. However this didn't spoil our stay!

Lovely short break here absolutely everything you need in this well appointed cottage a few minutes walk from everything. We spent hours sitting on the terrace just enjoying the goings on at the waterside and admiring the Menai Bridge

The location is stunning. Beautiful views across the straits and of the fascinating suspension bridge. Property has everything you could need and is close to all of the amenities. Plenty of options for food and drink and boat trips and rib rides aplenty. Always good to come back here.

A clean property that had indications it's a some-time home for the owner. Parking is easier than the description suggests (but not right outside.) Dining room, living room and both double bedrooms had amazing views of the Menai strait and the Menai bridge. Kitchen was functional and what was once likely a small garden (now paved) has a gated door onto Beach road, a liittle driven road alongside the strait. A very comfortable property for 4 adults, (the third room has bunk beds for younger visitors that seemed a little squashed in but, functional as a bedroom rather than a playroom.) Despite a few quirks, a delight to stay in; the only thing missing would be a visitor book for both, suggesting places to visit and, for visitors to make comments in before leaving. As we were back in North Wales for our 18th year, we didn't need suggestions of where to go but newcomers might, although Google can provide that info. The only reason not to stay here would be, if you didn't want to stay on Anglesey!

We stayed at the cottage for four nights. When you open the door the amazing views of the Menai Bridge and straights meet you immediately. It is breathtaking. The cottage is lovely and equipped with everything that you need. There is a very well stocked kitchen / dining room with a sofa as well for you to sit and enjoy the view. There is a lounge with a tv . The beds are very comfortable and have lovely white linen. Towels were provided too. There is a balcony that is the length of the house. The views are amazing. We sat there for hours. The photographs on the booking does not do the cottage justice. We will definitely be booking again when it is free

The property was very clean and well kept. Bathroom upstairs looks recently renovated and lovely and the rest of the home was in great condition. Host was lovely and would love to visit again one day. Stayed for 10 nights and felt very comfortable. Thank you.

This house is in a stunning spot, with fantastic views of the ever-changing Menai Strait. We loved sitting inside and out watching the birds and weather. Plenty of pubs and restaurants in the town and easy access to all the wonders of North Wales. Would stay again.

A great place for a really enjoyable holiday

Beautiful. On the bank of the Menai.spotless house. Beds comfy. Local to amenities. We did not cook at the property we went out everyday to eat.loads of lovely places. Defo stay again.perfect weekend away

Fantastic cottage with fantastic view's of the bridge and straits, never get bored of the view. Walking distance to all the restaurant's and pubs in the centre. Car parking a short walk from the property, Bedrooms were clean and adequate for our stay, constant hot water and heating at the touch of a button. Would recommend highly. We all had a great 3 day stay. Definitely come back.

Great location and view magnificent. Parking up a hill but so useful as could not park on road. Lovely shops and delis on high street and we fell in love with Anglesey. Steps to property from both entrances, not an issue but couldbe for some. Two lively double rooms with view of bridge and smaller room with bunk beds. Shower nice flow rate and over bath. Downstairs loo very handy but very cold, we called it the "igloo". We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank-you.

We had a relaxing Christmas break in Brookland. It is cosy and well-equipped and in the best spot overlooking the Menai Strait and suspension bridge. The view is endlessly fascinating and great for bird watching. Robin is responsive and well-organised. Recommended.
