This worked very well for our 3 generation Thanksgiving.

We stayed for five nights during a time when four families were coming together from the west coast and southern WI for two family funerals. The accommodations were just wonderful allowing us to all be together to grieve and celebrate. The house is extremely spacious, comfortable and well stocked. I would only note that the second bathroom on the main level is just a half bath and does not have a shower as indicated. But highly recommend.

Loved our stay at this property. The home is spacious and the setting is beautiful. Kitchens were well equipped for cooking and amenities were great. They had a variety of games for the kids, the Sauna was great, fire pit is large enough for a big group and use of the boat was a nice bonus. Certainly a place we would consider going back to. Memories for a lifetime!

The property was better than advertised. There were 13 of us. There was plenty of room for everyone in multiple areas and enough space to spread out. The cabin was very well equipped. The pontoon, other boats, lawn games were all a plus.

This lake house will not disappoint. It was everything and more.

Plenty of things to do from boating to swimming to kayaking! Everyone enjoyed themselves!

We spent 5 days and 4 nights in August at The Landing. We truly enjoyed our stay and the property was a perfect fit for us. Check in was easy and we appreciated a call from the owner Erik on the second day to make sure everything was going seamlessly. He encouraged us to contact him if there were any issues (which there weren't). Having two kitchens was great to accommodate our two main families and the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The larger kitchen, dining and family area upstairs was a great space for the whole group to gather. The barn worked well for our son, his wife and their kiddos, providing a quiet place for naps. The private sandy beach was perfect for swimming and relaxing. The toddlers in our group had fun playing in the glorious sand as well as the shallow water close to shore. Having the pontoon at our disposal was amazing and we indulged in some relaxing boat rides, including a trip to the Dairy Queen in the town of Lake Nebagamon. In the evenings we enjoyed our campfires around the cozy firepit. We also appreciated that The Landing is pet friendly so our two pups could enjoy the stay along with us. We hope that we will be able to return to The Landing for another stay next summer!

We had a great stay at this property. It has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of space for a large group, a great yard with beach front for lots of water activity. We would recommend to anyone looking for a fun relaxing vacation!

This place makes it easy to enjoy vacation. Everything we needed was included, we just brought some food and swimsuits and we were set. The kids (ages 5-13) had an absolute blast and the grown-ups got to relax instead of worrying about logistics.

This place was clean, comfortable and very roomy for our large group. We enjoyed the pontoon and water toys. The lake was perfect with a sandy beach! We had a fire and roasted marshmallows. There was plenty of outdoor seating. The large kitchen was well stocked(we only needed the refrigerator in the second kitchen) and the dining area held our large group perfectly and did not feel crowded. There were plenty of comfortable beds and enough bathrooms. This was a great stay and will definitely return!

The place is really nice, all updated and we'll stocked with all essentials. Eric called on check in day to make sure we got all the instructions, super friendly. Highly recommend and will be back next year.

This house is perfect - impeccably clean, well stocked and a beautiful location on the lake. Our family had so much fun, very kid friendly and close driving distance to beautiful state parks. Hosts are attentive. We had everything we needed. It’s perfect for those with kids, even babies (there’s a crib, pack n play, and baby bath), but would be great fun for adult groups too. Highly recommend!

This property was easily the most well-stocked we’ve experienced in our years of renting. Not once did we say, “I wish they supplied a xxxxxx” (fill in the blanks). Our group really loved the sauna. We have some sauna experts who really like it hot and they were pleased. Erik is an awesome host! He was able to accommodate our check-in/check-out special requests above and beyond. Not a bad drive to Spirit Mountain for ski day. We’ll be back!

Beautiful property and view of the lake! This was a perfect gathering place for our family of 6 adults and 3 small children. Plenty of space and accommodation for gatherings, relaxation and play! The kids … even the adults had a ball sledding down the hill to the lake! Thank you for your great hospitality, Erik.

Wonderful house on the lake!!

The property was well maintained and clean. Great location, with a stunning view of the lake. Our family of ten enjoyed the relaxation, fished from the dock, canoed, kayaked, and took the pontoon out for a ride around the lake. It was awesome. Will definitely be coming back. Sometimes the description is better than the property, not in this case. Erik and his wife were great and have a great place.

Extended family weekend with grandparents, parents and grand kids. Beautiful lot, comfortable beds, awesome lake access. Owner was very kind and helpful. Somewhat chilly fall weekend, but we still spent a lot of time outside with campfires, sauna, hammocks. Kayaked every day, and especially appreciated that those were included. Teens/older kids loved the separate quarters of the barn and independence when they wanted it. Perfect place for us! Would highly recommend.

We stayed here with kids and grandkids and it was perfect! They think of every detail! Each family had their own room and the grandkids LOVED the 'barn'. We loved the view and nice big kitchen that was fully stocked. The grandkids loved building sand castles on the sandy beach and jumping off the dock. We could not think of 1 thing that this property didn't have and it exceeded our expectations. Eric was very responsive and does everything to make your stay the best it can be. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to visit the beautiful house, lake and town again. Plus just a short drive to Duluth so you can take in the beauty of the north shore but still have your own private getaway to enjoy.

We just got home from a wonderful vacation at The Landing on Lake Nebagamon. This was such a wonderful experience for all of us. The home is beautiful and fit our family so good. They thought of everything. We had such a wonderful time. Several Pontoon rides with beautiful scenery. The kids had fun playing in the sand and trying out fishing. Our grandson even caught his first sunfish. I can't even explain the joy and excitement. We wished we could have stayed longer. This was such a special getaway and we can't wait to go back. Just left after a week and we had a great time! The house was very comfortable and spacious and there was plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 kids to have quiet time and a big table for dinners. Very nicely furnished great grill! Best part was the beautiful lake, pontoon and kayaks. Truly a great place. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!

We were looking for a place big enough for 3 families with a nice swimming beach. This place was AMAZING. The beach is sandy and beautiful, shallow enough all along the dock so we didn't have to worry about our younger kids. Lots of water toys and use of the pontoon. House is beautiful and had everything we wanted and our teenagers loved the bunk house. The owners are very helpful and communicative and make sure you have everythhing you need. If you're looking for a lake-house getaway this is the place

This was perfect for our family of 9...plenty of space, very, very clean, lots of extra's that we didn't expect! The rental includes the pontoon, kayaks, paddle boat and more! Erik was just a phone call away when we had a few questions. The area is beautiful and so many things to see close by. We all went to Duluth for the day, went to the waterfalls at Amnicon Falls Park, World's Largest Ball of Twine just down the road, couldn't miss that, went to the Dairy Queen one afternoon. The beach area on the property is perfect for kids, the grand kids love it and they even had sand toys! This is for sure a 5 Star! We diffidently will be back!

This place has everything! 3 super comfortable king size beds in 3 of the rooms in the house (sheets are also really nice). The sectional couch in the den has a pull out that comes with a thick additional top pad (you don't feel bars and it's said to be really comfortable). If you want more privacy in the den know that the den doors have glass and there are no curtains on any windows (maybe use a sheet to cover?). The sauna shed is loaded with water toys (inflatables-bring your own pump, noodles, sand toys, life jackets for all sizes, outdoor chairs, cornhole boards with bags and more). The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, tupperware, pans and utensils (even tin foil and bags). The "barn" is closer to the house than we thought, which made it easy with kids. The ac in there works great. There is a mini fridge in the barn. The house is close to the water so not tons of walking, and no steps. Appreciated the sandy beach area (rare on this lake) and use of the nice pontoon. EVERYTHING is clean. Communication with Erik was superb before, during and after. Some people traveled to the local waterfalls (very cool). Call local places before going to them because they were closed when we went to DQ and a restaurant mid day during the week. Deer visited us everyday on the driveway. Liked having a washer/dryer (there was detergent there). There's lot of games, books for kids, binoculars, several adult puzzles and beach towels. We did notice the neighbors on both sides of us but that wasn't a big deal. Quiet lake but lots of homes. Caught some fish off the dock with nightcrawlers. Each bedroom has a portable fan (if you like the noise of it-it drowns out noise if you have little ones sleeping), along with ceiling fans. There is also a pack and play and small wooden crib. Super family friendly setting. All the furniture is really comfortable and nice. I highly recommend this place. I've done a lot of VRBOS and between what's available to the guests and the hospitality of the renter, this is one of the best.
