This cabin was so fun to stay at for the weekend. The teenagers loved the basement with a pool table and ping pong table set up. The hot tub on the deck was nice (and seemed very clean which was so nice for a VRBO) The kitchen had everything you’d need for a weekend stay. Beautiful views out the back deck.

We were pleased overall with our stay. It was disappointing that the internet did not work. I tried to let the owner know through VRBO, but the message never sent. I received clear communication before arrival with instructions, but could not respond when I tried through VRBO with comments and questions.

We loved our stay!

We just stayed here over the July 4th holiday week and really enjoyed our stay. There is SO much to do at this property. We were all very entertained during our stay. We explored the area during the day and did some hiking at Grandfather mountain and some canoeing in Price Lake. The kids enjoyed gem mining in Blowing Rock. There is no shortage of things to do in the area. Then back at the house we had foosball, ping pong, and pool to keep us busy in the evenings. The property is on a nice quiet road which was a pleasant change of pace for us. It has a steep spot on the drive up but wasn’t much trouble since it was summer but I’d think a 4 wheel drive would be a must for winter. The owner was amazing and very responsive. We had a few minor issues but she was on top of it and was super pleasant to deal with. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. About the only knock beyond the few small issues we had is that there are some things that seem a bit dated with the property but it’s in overall pretty good shape and as I mentioned offered so much for us to do.

Super roomy and scenic this house is sure to please! Wonderfully convenient to Tweetsie railroad and lots of great restaurants. Enjoy!

The house was perfect for our needs. We were in town for a funeral and needed somewhere that was big enough for two families. This house was very spacious so we never felt like we were crowded.

Original boys golf weekend, turned into 1st annual “cabin Olympics” because of the rain. This property had plenty of things to keep us occupied durning the storms. All equipment was in good shape, place was clean, and very accurate descriptions! We talked about booking this exact space again next year. Host was kind and responsive. 5 star, all day.

We absolutely loved the house! Its very spacious and picture didn't do the house any justice, it was amazing. Everything we needed was supplied in the home the owner was very easy to reach and replied fast to any questions I had. We never had the desire to leave the house their was enough to do there and lots of relaxing. The home was clean and supplied well with blankets and linens, the kitchen had everything we needed for our big family as well!! We will certainly be revisiting and recommending to friends!!

We stayed Friday to Sunday for my birthday weekend. It was just girls, we had the best time ever!! The place was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The location was very peaceful and nice. We will definitely be renting again!! I had an amazing birthday… thank you so much

We drove up from Atlanta and stayed here for a week during winter break. It was a perfect distance to towns like Blowing Rock and Boone, as well as skiing at Appalachian ski mtn. This is a very quiet area with chickens and deer for company. The inside and outside are well maintained and as-advertised. We cooked several big meals and there were plants of pots, pans, etc. The hot tub was clean and worked great.

This house is exactly as it is shown in the pictures. It comfortably accommodated 9 people. The 5 kids (and adults) enjoyed the game room. We used the grill to avoid a long wait at dinner. A short 10 minute drive to Appalachian ski resort for a full day of skiing was nice. Would recommend and stay again.

Enjoyed our time at this cabin. Lots of chickens and deer! Had a blast in the game room. Host was amazing and thinks of everything to let you have a great time relaxing!

Home was very spacious and accommodating. There was so much to do at the cabin with a pool table, ping pong table, jacuzzi, great views, large deck; no reason to leave. We had a blast and would definitely be back!

We were really blown away by the amount of space that this home had after seeing it in person. Pictures do not do it justice! We appreciated the different kinds of entertainment available in the house as we stayed there all weekend. The hot tub was big and already heated when we arrived. Our only complaints would be that the beds were not comfortable and parts of the home was not completely cleaned. (Some garbage outside on front lawn, dog poop from previous visitors in lawn, shared bathroom in hallway wasn't really that clean) Overall, we had a wonderful time making new memories and were super thankful to be able to be under the same roof with our friends and family.

Apple Ridge was perfect for our family. It’s a very spacious cabin with a well stocked kitchen! The hot tub and game room were both great. It’s quiet and relaxing but close to Blowing Rock with plenty to do. Having 2 kitchens was a huge perk for Thanksgiving prep space and storage. We will definitely recommend and visit again when we are headed to NC. You’ll need to take camp chairs to enjoy the fire pit. It did get smoky downstairs when we lit a fire. The owner was aware of the issue and it wasn’t a big deal after opening a window.

This was a great place! We stayed for the weekend. The location was perfect! The kids had a blast downstairs with the game room and in the hot tub. There was plenty of space.

This is our second time staying at the Apple Ridge Cabin and definitely will not be our last. The house is located on a large quite piece of property. The bedrooms are large and the kitchen is well equipped (trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper is provided). We loved the upstairs fireplace (the next door neighbor sells wood for $10 a bundle). Our favorite place was the downstairs game room! The only things we brought with us besides groceries was a baby gate for the stairs and laundry soap. The house is very close to the town of Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The owner is very easy to work with and quick to respond to any and all requests.

Everyone enjoyed the property. Will be booking again!

We rented this cabin for our wedding weekend! The kids and adults all loved the downstairs game room!! So much space for everyone to spread out. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return!!

The house is fantastic, especially the huge game room with a pool table, ping pong, and foosball. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and our kids (ages 9-17) were all very happy there. We weren’t far from Blowing Rock for stores and restaurant and only about 20 minutes to Boone. The internet was spotty as advertised and the gravel parts of the road to the home would be tough in bad weather, but overall a fantastic place to stay and somewhere we would definitely rent again.

Enjoyed staying here. The game room was our favorite place in the house. Easy check-in and out. Had everything we needed. Great communication with owner.

We loved the natural setting, game room, ease of rental, location, hot tub, & ability to bring our dog. Excellent stay with beautiful towns and activities near by.

Needed a mountain retreat to get away for a few days and unplug! This was a great place to do it and very close to everything we wanted to accomplish for the short stay! We enjoyed Blowing Rock, the shops, restaurants and White Water Rafting. Also, visited Boone and Appalachian State University, as several of our teens are interested in going there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The rooms were comfortable, the game room was absolutely fabulous, and the kids loved the hot tub. The highlight for me was looking out and seeing the beautiful deer and chickens who greeted us every morning.

Fantastic property with modern amenities and multiple great hangout spots. Was perfect for hanging with friends, but would also be wonderful for families with its large game room. Quick drive to Blowing Rock and Boone, but also secluded and private.
