Anya was an extremely thoughtful and responsive host. The house is nice and roomy with a fabulous backyard which was just perfect for our 3 dogs. Not many places will let you bring 3 dogs so this was very appreciated. The kitchen was great so we mostly cooked or grilled, with some takeout thrown in there. We golfed at San Vicente which was also nice. Still pretty warm in August so unfortunately the Mt Gower Preserve was closed but I imagine it’s lovely in other months. A lot of people don’t follow the 25 mph limit so you just need to be aware when walking about solo or with dogs. Wineries are also fun - we liked La Finquita the best. Dogs very welcome.

The property was absolutely beautiful. It far surpassed my expectations. The house was in a lovely and peaceful neighborhood that was an amazing break from the city. The incredibly large and well-furnished backyard was the perfect place to gaze at the stars you never see in the city. (The backyard was our dogs' favorite part.) And the master bedroom was a masterpiece. The host is incredibly friendly and generous! She was extremely accommodating and checked-in leading up to, and throughout, the trip! My family and pets were so comfortable we didn't end up going on on planned outings. However, there was no shortage of places to visit in the surrounding area. The host provided ample supplies, like a kennel, to keep up with the dogs if we left. She also provided us with an abundance of options for entertainment, as well as plenty of pet toys. In all, it was an amazing experience. I would undoubtedly recommend and rebook this property!

Beautiful, well maintained and appointed property with large back yard. Kitchen has every type of tool for the gourmet chef. Anya and Andy are very nice and responsive and provided information about the local area, restaurants etc.

Our group of 6 had a great time spending together in this spacious and very clean home. Anya, one of the owners is very thoughtful in preparing for our stay and during our stay she is even more helpful in making sure that we are comfortable and entertained with the country club close by. We will definitely stay at this lovely home again.

Everything and so much more! My six year old did not want to leave 😊. Anya and Andy were amazing, they answered all my questions and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend. We were celebrating my birthday and Anya even left a card with a sweat gift! The small little touches made our weekend. We definitely would love to go back sometime.

The home was just wonderful. The owners made sure their guests wanted for nothing, it was stocked with everything we needed to cook family meals, in addition to the many quality amenities provided throughout the home. We truly felt right at home. They even provided dog bags for our pups, who loved playing catch in the yard.

Our group of 8 (we've been best friends for 20+ years!) really wanted to escape the city life and have a safe, cozy weekend. This home was it. From the second we arrived, the hosts greeted us and showed us around. We felt very welcome to settle in for the weekend and use all the property had to offer. Fireplace, spacious kitchen, comfortable rooms, the patio, outdoor fire pit and more. There was PLENTY of room and space for us all. And even though we didn't bring kids with us, it seemed to be kid friendly with fun rooms, lots of game and lots of outdoor space to run and play in. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Anya and Andy welcomed us with open arms into their beautiful home. Every detail was attended to. They even ran out and got us Firestarters for the wood burning fireplace when we mentioned we would like to use it and came back with a bottle of wine when they found out it was my boyfriend's birthday. Anya went out of her way to provide local recommendations and even asked whether Christmas decorations would be appreciated or not, which was so thoughtful and sensitive. The back yard is huge and has a beautiful view of the hills, and the stars, of course. The home itself would be perfect for a family with older kids or several couples as there's a king suite upstairs and two queen guest rooms downstairs with a shared bathroom. The kitchen is huge and perfect for cooking with everything you could possibly need. And also beautiful touches like rock salt and a grinder. The fridge was thoughtfully stocked with sparkling water. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for more and had a wonderful time antiquing, bird watching, going for walks, wine tasting, and relaxing by the fire. Thank you Anya and Andy for a wonderful weekend!
