The atmosphere of the home and island created a very relaxing atmosphere

Marsh Mellow was a lovely place to stay! The view was absolutely beautiful. We spent the majority of our time out on the screen porch. The kitchen had everything we needed. The golf carts were in good shape and ran well. The condo could use a good deep cleaning, but overall the decor is very nice. We were bummed that the pool was closed, I know the fine print said it was a possibility, but we figured mid September in eastern NC would warrant the pool still being open. I’m also confused about who the condo was booked through? I went through my VRBO account, but all communication came from Itripp, including a message saying I could have saved money by booking directly through them? I didn’t think VRBO did third party, but it would have been nice to save some. Overall, GREAT place, would definitely stay there again!

We loved staying on Bald Head Isalnd and the property was very conveniently located. The beaches were beautiful. Lots of choices for food and anything else you might need. The condo furnishings were great, the kitchen well stocked, and the amenities were amazing (two golf carts!, kayaks, beach chairs). Unfortunately there were several aspects that made our stay less than stellar. The first thing that greeted us was a stained rug in the hall. The bathroom showers were moldy all along the bottom and in corners. And for all the hype about the water views and dock just off the condo, the sea wall was under construction so there was no access to the dock and a large construction barge was tied up at the neighboring dock so our views of the marsh were obstructed. Now I understand that maintenance is necessary and I probably wouldn’t have been as irritated if someone would have mentioned it before we checked in. I finally found the “Welcome Book” on the third day of our stay. It was under other books on one of the bookshelves. Overall, the property was a disappointment. I would definitely stay on Bald Head Island again but not at this property.

Great location and everything was lovely. Very clean. Well equipped kitchen and garage, as far as the kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Beautiful sunrise from the porch! They were very easy to deal with and quick to respond when we locked ourselves out! Would definitely stay here again!

We think we hit our favorite rental property ever in MarshMellow. Located on the marsh with incredible views of the water and spartina, the unit is as described and then some. The kitchen has everything you'll ever need, there is more than enough beach equipment, and the kayaks are top-notch. We love BHI, and as the location is perfect for our interests, we will most certainly be back!

Had a wonderful time visiting one of our family favorite vacation spots. We had our 8 year old granddaughter and 14 month grandson. Lots of beaching, swimming, shopping, crabbing and beach walks. The ferry rides on and off the island are just part of the fun. Golf carting everywhere while leaving the car on the mainland is just one of the charming things about this special place. Hope to be back this fall.

You can sit on the porch in a comfortable, chair and watch the sunrise over the water as you sip coffee while the ceiling fans above whisper cool air. It was very relaxing along with the colors of the place. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with spices and pots/pans/appliances/etc. Golf carts were good, fabulous place!

Location is perfect. It has everything that you may need to have a good time. Communication was great. Highly recommend

Amazing trip to Bald Head! Everything was exactly as pictured. The covered porch was a dream and definitely the #1 reason to stay at Marsh Mellow! The water views of the marsh from the porch were more expansive than most ocean views on Bald Head. The kids had a blast fishing and crabbing from the dock just below the covered porch. Visited in mid-May and no bugs to speak of. The space and furniture was clean and well-kept.

I was supposed to relax and sleep in during my vacation, but the sunrises wouldn’t allow it! They’re simply stunning and drench the living room every morning with a healthy glow of the day ahead. The condo is very well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you will need to cook a good meal and there were some fun surprise beach games in the garage we were not expecting—cornhole, paddle games, and boogie boards. I couldn’t count the amount of beach towels! The lightweight kayaks and nearby docks made a day of kayaking effortless. The water heats up quickly for showers and dishes and the towels were soft. We mostly used the 6-seat golf cart which seemed newer and gave us the extra storage for beach days. There is a tree behind the carport area that may difficult to navigate if you’re not used to driving a golf cart. We had an issue with our upstairs neighbors who were going into our garage and taking our amenities, and the iTrip personnel took care of it immediately. ITrip also quickly got back to me when I questions about the golf cart and finding a corkscrew. Now for the birds… There are a ridiculous amount of sea birds in the marsh and watching them was heavenly. Across the street I heard the calls of the painted bunting, a bucket list bird, and finally saw it a few days after arrival. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I decided to take a last minute trip to BHI for the weekend. Marsh Mellow is a great place to stay, it had everything I needed and more and was very clean! I highly recommend this condo and I look forward to staying here again!

This is one of my favorite places to stay on the island. The location is perfect, close to everything, and the property was very clean and well equipped. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and golf carting around the island! I recommend this property, and iTrip was only a text away if I needed anything at all! Excellent customer service

We have been staying on BHI for years and have been enjoying Timbercreek units on the marsh the most. The view and wildlife are spectacular and the units are comfortable. Marsh Mellow was decorated really cute and the kitchen was well stocked. However, the pillows and linens were awful so bring your own and the carpet in the bedroom needs cleaning. Also, the 6 passenger cart does not hold a very good charge. To the owner, hire a different management company. The email I received said to call a number to check and see if early check in was possible. We came by boat and got there 30 minutes early and called with no callback. We got there and could not figure out the tv so my nephew could watch his football game and again called with no callback but back and forth texts about reading the instructions(which were vague) and the service probably is basic. After an hour of trial and error we finally figured it out on our own that the input needed to be HDMI for Spectrum cable with plenty of channels. Suggestion is to provide details on what goes with each HDMI connection in the book at the house. When I spilled water on the kitchen floor first day, the paper towel was filthy, clearly the floor had not been mopped. Several lamp and lights over the bar were out. You would think with the ridiculous fees the management company charges, you would get better customer service and a clean house.

No one seems to take care for this Condo! Light bulbs out everywhere, carpets filthy, golf carts are not new as implied but rather old with a very weak battery(s). As I say, no one seems to care. Maybe it is the management co. or the owners but I would never stay here again.

Had a great time at Marsh Mellow! The views from the screened in porch were amazing! We were welcomed to the home with great information from the iTrip binder. We were kept up to date and in the loop about arrival by text and questions were answered immediately. Highly recommend iTrip for vacationing!

My family loves Timbercreek and we have stayed in other units but really enjoyed Marsh Mellow. The condo was clean, family friendly, and had great interaction with the ITrip team. Questions were answered timely, and although we were not first timers to BHI they shared great tips, local info to be aware of, and honestly would use them again. The only downside to the unit is that washer/dryer are in the garage like many other units but am still grateful to have access to one. Thanks for a great trip!

The unit was overall very clean. The reality matched the pictures we had seen online. The communication with the property management was top notch. Completely positive experience that I would recommend to others.

First timers to BHI and we were taken away with the beautiful marsh views of this property! Great location, close to the marina, but easy access to the rest of the island as well. Fit two families with small children and the extra beach toys and boogey boards downstairs were much appreciated on the beach! Took the kayaks out one morning on the marsh and it was beautiful! Great condo!

Marsh Mellow was as advertised and them some. Terrific view of the marsh. The screened-in porch area is perfect for enjoying coffee while watching the morning sunrise over the marsh. Enjoyed Kayaking with the unit's boats...saw a pair of bald eagles. We caught many fish straight from the dock...make sure to get your NC fishing license online (it's easy). The golf carts were excellent...long lasting batteries and no glitches....maybe a little difficult backing them out if the carport because of the angle of the carport entrance relative to a tree...but doable nonetheless. Would definitely love to rent this property again when we return to BHI!

Nice property, canoe, kayaks were in good condition and fun. Nice to walk right out to dock in backyard.
