Perfect location for a mini getaway. Very relaxing and peaceful.

We have stayed at this home 3 years in a row. Good location and layout.

Our family stayed for 2 weeks and it was such a nice and cozy house . The steam train was right outside our back deck . Maintenance was very helpful and so was the office ! Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the screened in porch. Kitchen was well equipped.

I would highly recommend this cabin. Didn't like the winding road, but we got used to it. Beautiful view of the lake.

Our experience was so wonderful, even better than expected! The outdoor space on this cabin is just magical during day and night. We pretty much lived on the screened porch and in the hot tub. Staring off into the trees, taking in river, and gazing at the stars was just what we needed to unwind. I saw the reviews about neighbors close by but honestly they aren’t really. The homes are oriented so they feel very secluded. Internet is spotty, but we didn’t mind - Direct TV was fine. Finally, I always have back pain from the awful beds when we go on vacation. Not here - the master bedroom mattress was so comfy. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Lakeview Lookout was a lovely property with plenty of living space for our group of 5 adults and 2 children. We were visiting the area to ride the Polar Express and the cabin was convenient to Bryson City and other mountain entertainments. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after a grueling 5 mile hike!

Almost everything was fantastic. Cabin is beautiful. Only thing was that we could not find a way to get down to the lake besides a steep climb down then back up. I would definitely stay again.

The pictures of the property are perfect. Everything was just as nice as they looked in the picture. We love the screened in porch.

Second time staying at this house. We will be back.

We love the area, so we knew the lake and rivers there, but this was our first time at this cabin. It was perfect for our family and is now our favorite rental. The views were gorgeous and we watched the full moon come up over the ridge while soaking in the hot tub. Every couch and all the beds were cozy, and all areas well equipped (extra blankets, towels, even coffee filters!). We will be back next year! If you rent this location, be ready to not want to leave. Only words of caution... be careful and slow on the roads as they are a bit steep and the wifi is very weak (which was perfect for us as we were ready to "disconnect " and relax).

Everything was just amazibg.

Cabin was in great shape and clean for the most part. Fireplace was not working and the basement smelled a little like wet dog (smell dissipated after a day or two). Also there was no Salt, pepper or anything. However we'd definitely say again. Note- not exactly a motorcycle friendly Cabin BTW. The small parking area and one way steep gravel 2 track to the Cabin were challenging.

Really nice, peaceful place, with beautiful views! Great place to stay. Clean, quiet and comfortable.

This cabin was clean with a great view only thing I would warm visitors about is the three dogs that roam the property all day and night and the cabin has no blinds or curtains for privacy. Other than that we had an amazing time we would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at Lakeview Lookout. There were a few issues with the cabin that were listed in other reviews but no surprises. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and seating. I would definitely recommend this to other family and friends.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and the right size for our party. I gave it 4 stars for location because the road was a one lane STEEP gravel road I’m so glad we brought our truck. The lake view was beautiful but there was no access point.

We always enjoy a good mountain getaway. This year was no exception and this cabin was great. The place was clean and all the supplies needed to enjoy a week in the mountains were there. Being so close the N.O.C and Bryson City make this a great location. We rafted the Nantahala, tubed at Deep Creek (no one died), and enjoyed hiking several days. There were a couple issues with the house but these should not preent you from considering this property. The upstairs "jet" tub did not "jet". The water temp in the shower was not adjustable. It was hot which is better than only being cold. In one downstairs bedroom has a can light and ceiling fan light on the same switch. This meant that the light was on if the fan was on. Not ideal for sleeping if you like sleeping with a fan on. The other cabins provided some interesting events. One night, the neighbors stayed up well past midnight being loud. This was frustrating but is probably not representative of the area. You never know who your neighbors are going to be. Those were not deal breakers but things to be aware of. The grill worked great! The hot tub was relaxing. We had a blast and really enjoyed the Finger Lake Recreation area just across the bridge.

Everything you would need for a vacation cabin rental. Clean hot tub and well maintained. Big refrigerator and appliances for every need. Comfortable beds, sheets, chairs and couches. Private back deck is spilt open deck and screened. Nice accommodations with a lake view made for a wonderful vacation. Great rental customer service.

House was beautiful. I will definitely stay here again.
