Great house, clean, well maintained, safe, ideal for our family of four. Ideal location to explore Merida as well as day trips to Uxmal, Celestun, etc. We would definitely like to return

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The listing was very accurate. Perro Loco is a very comfortable place to stay. The house is well maintained and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The courtyard by the pool was a tranquil place for morning coffee and a cool dip in the afternoon. It has great showers and laundry, plus comfortable beds and linens, sure to make your stay feel luxurious. The location is in a good neighborhood, not touristy and with modest road traffic. Wonderful restaurants are within a ten minute walk from the house, and we found the walk to favorite markets and restaurants was good to work off all the delicious food that is readily available. Our hosts were very helpful. Alberto was at the house to greet us when we arrived. He was amazingly responsive and very good at setting up a few day trips. Ask for Angel if you need a thoughtful driver or a knowledgeable guide to assist you. Only one small thing to note: the house only has Netflix, you need to have a streaming connection. However you really don’t need TV, Merida has so much to offer. We are sure to stay here again when we are in Merida. This is a lovely home.

The house was everything we hoped for and more. We were very comfortable. The owner and his team went above and beyond to tend to our needs and requests. I highly recommend booking with Burro y Flauta. Their properties are stunning, comfortable and well-located. Gracias for a wonderful experience

I highly recommend this property and anything within the Burro Y Flauta network. They made our stay as smooth as could be. We were truly grateful to them for their responsiveness and support with things like getting groceries in advance of our arrival, child care for our son so we could go on a date, advice on things to do and more. The space it self was jaw-droppingly-beautiful and there were cold beers waiting when we arrived. We will be back.

This house is a beautiful place. We would definitely rent it again. It has everything you need and OMG the bed and pillows are heaven.

This property is almost perfect! So many positives. Becca, the property manager, replied immediately to our enquires. Beto, our concierge, spoke perfect English and gave us a welcome tour of the property. They were very thorough in providing information about what needed to be known to allow a comfortable visit in their unit. They also provided lots of additional information about local restaurants and markets etc.. more importantly, names and numbers for English speaking doctors etc.... Beto gave his email and cell phone number. We had Mike’s, the owners cell phone number. We had a car and felt safe that if a problem arose we had a contact. We are seasoned travellers and were very impressed with the amenities and supplies within this unit. We ended up having to self isolate due to the Coronavirus. We were totally comfortable. Outside street noise level might bother a few....did my husband, not me.
