An absolutely wonderful getaway with everything needed for a great stay. It's the perfect base for a hill country respite!

It’s a great cabin, had everything it said it would. Nice and clean and set up great. Bed was a little hard for me, but others might like it that way. Overall it was what we were looking for.

We initially wanted a getaway to celebrate a birthday and Valentine’s Day but came away with so much more. The house was clean, organized and had anything you might need. Whether it was to relax on the spacious deck with coffee or wine, enjoy the hammocks or chiminea and wildlife or just unplug this hillside house has it all. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great get away with nice outdoor amenities

The cabin was very charming and comfortable. It was perfect for two people. We enjoyed the fireplace and the deck is wonderful with a great view of the hills. The grounds are very pretty with a firepit outside and lots of hammocks. The kitchen was very well-stocked with dishes, pans, spices, and two types of coffee makers - both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker. The stairs going down from the drive way to the house are a bit steep, so you have to be careful until you get used to them. While it is in a neighborhood with houses around, once you're on the property it feels very private and quiet. Enjoyed our stay.

We so enjoyed our stay at Salente House. This charming one bedroom cottage was ideal for the two of us, and was incredibly well-equipped. Owners Sandra and Jose were extremely thoughtful in providing everything you could need (especially in the kitchen!) and were very responsive to inquiries. We practically lived on the outdoor deck (until it just got too hot) and enjoyed movies on the very comfy sofa. Can't say enough good things about this place, so homey and just what we were looking for in a getaway.

We needed a short get away to recharge our batteries. The back porch, rockers, and hammock were wonderful. The house was beautiful and very clean. Everything you could need or want was provided. Jose was very quick to reply with a question we had regarding the TV. I only gave 4 stars for location because even though the pictures of the house online were all accurate with regard to the interior and immediate outdoor areas, it gives the impression of total seclusion and isolation - which was what we were searching for - when the home is actually quite close to several homes and construction was taking place at some newer vacation homes going in close by. Thankfully the live oak trees around the property offered the illusion of privacy. We enjoyed viewing the deer that would come to visit and sitting outside late in the evening when all had settled down around us. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We retreated here it celebrate hubbies Birthday. Beautiful appointed lake house with great views. The hosts had provided every thing you could think of and more, the wine was a nice touch. Unfortunately could not take advantage of the great outdoor space and deck as much as we would have liked as it was well over 100 Deg F for most of our 3 day stay. Be aware however, that the property is on a hillside and that means lots of steps, so if you are on the wrong side of 70 like us be prepared for a bit of a workout when it’s hot. Would definitely stay here again hopefully when it’s a little cooler.

Great location with accurate photos and description. The AC didn't quite keep up during the hottest part of the day (July) but it wasn't bad with the ceiling fans running. Loved the outside speakers on the deck.

We stayed only for one night for a concert near by. The house was very clean and had an wonderful view. We were there for such a short time that we didn't get to enjoy the outside area. It was a great place for a night or two. I am not sure if we would stay for more than 3 due to space, but its a great location and very homie. Thanks again.
