Beautiful view and area

The location can't be beat but the condo needs a deep cleaning. This is a very quiet condo and beach. Can walk one block to Fort Fisher beach and is close to Carolina and Wrightsville beaches, and 90 minutes from Myrtle. Place is nicely stocked with beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, frisbees).It has a beautiful view of the ocean and the beach access is 10 feet from the stairs.

Everything was perfect for my personal reset time. Clean, peaceful environment with breath taking beach and ocean views.

The condo was great. The location couldn't have been more perfect. Views and beach access at your fingertips. Would highly recommend and we will be back :)

Thx is is a cozy beach house off the beaten path with panoramic ocean view. Very comfortable to stay in. Although others have complained about the softness of the bed we found it comfortable. My only criticism is that they need new frying pans. Otherwise q perfect place to relax and well worth the money!

My husband and I were celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary and decided to stay the weekend at Lundie’s place. Upon arriving, there was someone parked in our space, so we had to have them move, all while the clean up crew blasted my truck with sand with leaf blowers. I wasn’t too happy about that, but all things changed when we entered the condo. It’s literally right next to the ocean! Opening the double sliding doors and hearing the waves crashing on shore, instantly melted away any stress. We went in knowing that one of the previous reviewers had complained about the mattress being too soft; and sure enough, it was. We ended up sleeping on the couch the second night because of that. But, it’s Lundie’s place and that’s how they like it, so we didn’t complain. We didn’t use many dishes because we were there only 2 nights, but I think it would be fine if you were there longer and wanted to cook. The coffee cups were tiny, but we just went for refills lol. Overall, we had a great stay and Lundie was great with communication. If we ever have the opportunity to stay again, we definitely will!

We will be glad to post pictures along with this review as well. The place was dirty, there was a chair with ottoman that we would not sit in. The couch had a dirty/stained cover over it. Carpet was stained/filthy. The patio furniture was rusty and just poor. Food/beverage left in the fridge/freezer from previous occupant. Bed was how should I put this, "a brothel bed" . No hangers in closets, they were packed/piled up with towels and crap as it was. Next: Was told to put a handwritten sign in our window about who we were renting from so we wouldn't get towed. Gues what? Got towed! Another 200.00 tacked on. She neglected to inform us there was a laminated hanging pass up in the unit to use. She stated she would work with/refund us some of the money. When we sent her pics and details, she went crazy and wouldn't even talk about refunding us.; not even the towing which was her fault. The view was amazing, but that's about it! For 340.00 a night, plus host/cleaning fees: NOT WORTH IT!! Then on top of it all, she had the audacity to ask us to put the sheets in washer when we left because "cleaning people were hard to find". Like it's our problem, we are on vacation and you charge a cleaning fee. VRBO as usual won't intervene at all. We will post pics and keep posting on this rental!

We had so much fun. The view was amazing! Everything was great. When we needed anything we called the owner and they were so nice and helpful.

We had such an amazing time at Lundie’s rental in Kure beach. She was very helpful, gave great recommendations for local attractions, and was very quick to respond. The view could not be beat! We would definitely return.

Great property. Could use a new mattress in the bedroom. Everything else was great. Clean, right on the beach. We rode our bikes to several places. Great trip.

The best thing about this condo is its location - truly right on the beach. This is on the third floor and you have an outstanding view from the porch. It takes just one minute to walk down the steps and onto the beach. This is an older condo that hasn’t been recently updated, but it is definitely sufficient. The kitchen is fine for cooking, but bring any sharp knives or other favorite “tools” you might want. We found it to be lacking some of the things we like to use, but overall we made it work. The bunks were comfortable, but the master bed was quite soft. We didn’t use the sleeper sofa. There is plenty of space to have meals and to visit/watch tv for 4 people. I have mentioned these points to the host as well. Overall - nothing extra special but certainly fine and you cannot beat the location. I would stay here again, but would love to see a few more upgrades. :-)

Property could not be closer to the ocean! Excellent view! Host was quick with responses and even arranged for an early check in - very accommodating! This place had all the essentials and so much more. Wonderful trip!!! =)

This was the perfect getaway spot for us. Sitting on the balcony is just like being on the beach. Great location to hop on the ferry to Southport for a day.

Right on the ocean! Stovetop, oven, refrigerator, could have used a kettle but made do. The views from each room was great and the balcony was excellent. Would prefer a table and two high chairs but we enjoyed what we had. Everything was comfy and we enjoyed having beach gear to use from the closet. We kept it clean with the availability of a hose at the bottom of the stairs before walking up and used a bucket to wash our feet before entering the condo. The pool was nice. Being the last place before Fort Fisher was pretty cool too. Nice stroll to see the attraction and a short drive to a nearby Basin Trail. The best part was the beach and we were on the ocean. Couldn’t get any closer. Great views, great stay, loved being there and would definitely do it again!

The only way to get closer to the ocean would be to camp on the beach. You literally feel like you're on a cruise ship when you're in this unit. Clean and spacious. We would definitely rent it again!

The condo was the closest property to the beach thing we have ever stayed in. The condo needed some work but over all we had a great time.

The place was great. We stayed during a king tide with strong NE wind. We could have fished from the balcony the water was so close. The kids loved playing on the natural rocks at low Tide.

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and loved our time here. The property is literally right on the beach with it’s own beach access, which made for easy quick trips back upstairs for forgotten items or snacks! While at the beach all day, we enjoyed the comfort of the unit in the evenings with the sound of the waves crashing right out front. The complex is at the end of Kure Beach and seemed like a quiet community, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The owner was a great communicator, quick to respond to inquiries. We would definitely stay here again and already looking at future dates!

Great views for the sunrise. You can hear the sound well especially at night and it’s soothing to sleep too. Very roomy condo for two. Nice layout of the home. Only one negative comment. The coffee pot had old moldy coffee in the pot and filter. The restaurants the owner recommended were spectacular. Havana’s is a great dinning experience and not to far from the condo. This place reminds me of Sandbridge Beach but more modernized. I’m definitely coming back here in April .
