We rented this property for our family Christmas vacay and we had an excellent stay!! The house was as advertised and everything was clean and functioning well. We were practically steps away from the beach and the kiddos absolutely had a ball. Stores and shoppes were close to drive and the town of Duck was beautiful!! We had a total of 11 people, 7 adults and 4 children and the layout of the house was perfect for our family. We will definitely be back!!

Hadn't been cleaned in awhile; heavy dust and cobwebs everywhere. Used the vacuum, but immediately cut off as it smelled like hot wet dog. The entire house smells odd, like it was smoked in and paint/carpet were used to cover it up (cigarettes in containers outside). A lot needs replacing, like beds/pillows (very uncomfortable) and linens (stained). Sheets were like burlap. The outside is quite unkempt (dirty, covered in spiders and webs, etc.), so you won't want find the decks useful or the house relaxing. Having performed the exit instructions, it seems like that's all of the cleaning that gets done between guest stays. FWIW, a pickier person would've written much more. I tried to remain positive and not let it impact the vacation. The only notable pros: it was cheap and close to the beach. You get what you pay for.

Our family (which ranged from 8 to 11 people staying during the week) found the property to work well for our numbers. We loved the proximity to the beach and also the nice flow of the kitchen and den space for our family gathering. Special memories were made here!

This house was perfect! Right by the beach, an easy 1 minute walk. The house was sparkling clean & is stylishly updated. The decks are fantastic, you can’t see any neighbors, it feels very secluded even though it’s in a neighborhood.

Loved Pineapple by the sea!! The property was beautiful and perfectly placed the ocean and the sound. Would definitely stay there again.
