A family vacation of boating, fishing, swimming and watching the RNC convention. Interesting, for a large number of cottages on the lake we saw very few people. I imagine the reason was the hot weather and most people were probably at the lake July 4th weekend. Therefore, we had the whole place to ourselves and enjoyed a quiet time and beautiful sunsets. We’ll return to Lake Weiss in the future. Thank you Loren

Clean.ceilings falling down .furniture old and broken.couch old and dirty. The recliner was broke. Needs new air conditioning

Beautiful property on a beautiful part of the lake. The swimming was great. The location is perfect for relaxing. The house is spacious and there is plenty of room for everyone. The dining room table is prefect for game nights with the family. The house does however stay a bit warm. The dock offers plenty of space to fish and swimming. The lower swimming deck makes for easy access to the water for both children and adults. This place to take you back to your grandparents house in many ways. Most of the rooms have fans which are needed at night. The sun room is a great little hang out to cool down and snack.

Our youngest graduated from high school and chose a fishing trip with his dad, his brother, and his two best friends to celebrate. The sixteen pound catfish he caught off the dock was the highlight of the trip, for sure!
If you’re looking for a pristine house that has had all the character remodeled right out of it, this is NOT the house for you. This house is family pictures hanging on the walls, it’s imperfect DIY projects, it’s rooms are full of bits and pieces of a real family who has elected to share their beautiful place on the lake with other real families. It’s not a rental house, it’s a shared home and we loved every second of our time here.

Cute house, right on the water. Plenty of room. Everything was labeled, which was great. We didn't have to search for items we needed.
House does not have a Keurig coffee maker. Just plain drip one.
Home owner said he was stopping by on Thursday to fix a light that had fell. He came unannounced on Tuesday. Came in through the basement. Which was a shock to us. My concern is if we were in the shower when he entered without notice.

The heat in the house did not work. Luckily, there was a Walmart where we purchased space heaters. Extra cost for heaters $ 225.00.

We really enjoyed the stay only a few things that was disappointed with 1. One of the beds needs a new mattress was very very hard. 2. There was cooked food left in the fridge. 3. On towels or wash clothes in the up stairs baths . But even with these disappointments when we called the owner they responded on the towel situation quickly with the solution

My family enjoyed our stay at this home on Lake Weiss. The home is big and has plenty of beds and a huge yard and dock on the lake. We enjoyed the grill and kitchen and the sunsets !

Rented house for a weekend fishing trip with my father, son and nephew. Great location, very clean and owners left detailed notes for everything in the house (very helpful). Highly recommend!

This house is perfect for whatever brings you to the lake. We were there to fish and it was the nicest house we have rented through vrbo. ( and we have been taking fishing trips for the last 20 years) The owner (Sharon) is very organized and had everything we could have possibly needed. The dock was also nice. It worked perfectly for our purposes but would also be nice to spend the day sitting in the sun or fishing from. The location was also ok. It’s a 10-15 minute drive into town. We will definitely rent this one again.

It was amazingly wonderful!! The owners had everything there that you could possibly want or need. The dock, the bench swing(s) in the yard (where I was found reading, alot!), it was all wonderful! I believe we have found our favorite place to vacation! ❤️❤️❤️

Fishing trip for my brother and I
This home was great! Very spacious with huge bedrooms and living room made for a very comfortable stay. This was a fishing trip for my brother and I so being right on the lake with a large boat dock and its own boat ramp was super nice. We definitely hope to be able to stay here again for future trips.

Great vacation spot and perfect location for boating
Everything about the property was great. From check-in to checkout it was smooth and easy. The owner has things marked clearly to help you feel at home right away and what to do when you leave. The property was a perfect place for our boating excursion. The on property boat ramp and dock made getting out on the water a breeze. This part of the lake has a very low count of stumps marked on the map, so it was perfect for sailing.
