This is an awesome property. It deceptive from the front , just nestled in a suburban cul-de-sac but around the back is a gorgeous vista stretching across the river and into the hills. There is everything you’ll need here , styled so beautifully. It was great for our group with 8 teenagers! The sleep out is a fabulous setup complete with table tennis kit. So close to town they could bike , skateboard or walk. The spa pool was the clincher though. Just right for the rainy days we’ve been having this summer and to warm up after a dip in the ocean Thank you so much to our hosts for sharing their little piece of heaven.

I don't really want to say too much, else someone else might book it when we want it. Awesome location, not far from town and beach. Great facilities and heaps of extras provided and heaps not used; bikes, table tennis, kayaks....and the list goes on. Very comfortable for the number staying and a the sleep out was great for the older boys to have their own space. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, amazingly well appointed property. Looking out over the estuary from the deck you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, not 10 min walk to the centre of town! The spa and kayaks were the icing on the cake. Definitely recommended.

This property is beautifully decorated and inviting. Lots of room for our extended family of 8 plus dog. The spa pool and fire made it the perfect winter getaway.

We had a lovely girls weekend at this house, it was clean and modern, it has a nice wood burning fire and a great deck with a spa.

We are super happy to have stayed at this property it was everything we could of asked for, clean tidy spacious short walk to town with great private morning views . I would recommend this property to anyone and would definitely stay again .

A helpful and friendly host. A clean, well appointed and enjoyable house with an amazing deck ...and, what a view!! A paradise playground for kids - the wetlands and river! All day sun, privacy and hot tub. We'll be back!!

The decor is beautiful and relaxing, and we enjoyed the fire for the chilly nights. The lounge, kitchen and deck also provided lots of space for our big family to gather in for cooking, eating and playing games together. The games cupboard was well utilised, along with the spa pool, kayaks and ping pong table. The sleepout is surprisingly roomy and a great area for teenagers or adults who enjoy a bach feel and the quiet away from the main house. It has plenty of beds, a kitchen, and a small dining and lounge area. The outdoor toilet and shower are also a great idea. All in all, this property delivered more than we expected and we absolutely enjoyed our weekend here.

Great weekend away with friends. From the street the house isnt very exciting , but step inside and it's lovely, comfy, and you feel a million miles from anywhere. Spa and fireplace great for a winter break. Well equipped kitchen too. Heaps of space, though we didn't use the sleepout at all. Would be great for 2 families, or a family with teens. Only niggle was we couldn't seem to control the elements on the stove top - thermostat needs fixing I think. Also should have bought along some speakers to play music.

Amazing location! So impressed by the spot. Can’t believe it had three kayaks, a spa, ping pong table and so many beds. Everyone loved their stay so thank you.

With everything you could want, in a nice quiet nook of Whanga, we had an absolute blast and would recommend to anyone wanting a hassle-free getaway.

The owner was easy to contact and communicate with. She answered any questions immediately. The property had a beautiful outlook of the estuary and had plenty of things to do including bikes, kayaks, spa pool. I would definitely come back or recommend to friends.
