Nice location! Property was 13 degrees on arrival. House took 24 hours to warm up due to poor insulation and inadequate window coverings! Vrbo said we could check in at 3 pm but Matt the property manager said house was not ready. Hot tub was great! Could use a floor mat by the back door to prevent slipping on floor when coming in from hot tub. Inaccurate to advertise fireplace as an “amenity” when it is not gas and no wood is provided! Siding on house exterior was dirty, especially on side of garage. Overall not great value for the price!

Was an overall good eexperience

We had such a great Thanksgiving weekend. More than enough space for our family. You can’t beat the view and location, steps from the ocean. Would book again.

This place is the perfect family getaway spot! Bedrooms are huge, there are plenty of bathrooms with tons of towels, the kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need, and the deck, view, and hot tub will knock your socks off. The yard is huge, with plenty of room for the kids or dog to run around, and the beach is perfect for exploring. Some of the features in the house are a bit outdated, but it is completely irrelevant, and other than binoculars, the house had literally everything we needed and then some! The beach access could be tricky for some to navigate, but with a 2, 6 and 7 year old we managed just fine. Thanks to the great home owner, Matt!

This property was exactly what we needed for a COVID Family get away! beautiful spot, great location to many out door activities and well stocked cooking utensils. we were using space with our 2 children their spouses and grandson. we will be back

The house was perfect. Large enough to accommodate us, my sister-in-law and our two grown children and one fiancé! Just a short drive to Campbell River. Hot tub was amazing with a beautiful view. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again one day!

Had everything we needed for our family of 6. Lots of space, great kitchen, and relaxing patio on the water. Easy access to rocky beach for wadding/ paddling in the water. Close enough to explore, but far enough to not be in the middle of it all. Fabulous home, clean and comfortable!

Great view, lots of space, private setting and big yard for family and dogs. Lovely large deck.

We sat on the deck every morning and evening and enjoyed the quiet and the view. It is as advertised, wish we could have spend more time there.

Better than the photos! We loved our stay at Matt’s property, it was so spacious and perfect for our group. The hot tub and bbq were so nice! Will definitely be staying here again!

The view and the house were both perfect. There was a lot of space for everyone. The hot tub was delightful! We have already booked to go back in a couple months. Matt was very helpful and he was always very quick to reply. I highly recommend this property

Awesome stay! Spacious with large comfortable bedrooms, more than enough bathrooms for 7 women! Hot tub was perfect, on the beach with gorgeous sunsets and tons of light by the moon even in November! Nearby walks were beautiful and the beach is right in front for easy kayaking or beachcombing. Impressed with how well the kitchen was stalked and we didn’t even use all the towels. Great time was had by all and we would stay again. Great find and Matt responded to all questions immediately:).

The place was absolutely incredible. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub overlooking the ocean was perfect and the deck was lovely. We will definitely be booking again.

Lovely large, home with amazing hot tub and view.

I was very disappointed to hear from the owner on the morning of our arrival day, that the hot tub was out of commission for reasons beyond his control at that time. My adult children and I were on the second leg of a Vancouver Island trip to celebrate my birthday, and the hot tub was a major draw for them. The house was very clean, but there was no personal touches. The only communication left for us asked us to place the garbage and recycling in the garage. There was no hand soap in the kitchen and no bath soap in the bathrooms. There was a single small garbage bag in the kitchen and I was ultimately able to locate one large green garbage bag. The home is expansive and the furnace was off when we got there. In October the weather is not warm as it is in the summer. We were very cold and it took a long time to heat up the place. When I messaged the owner to ask if there was wood for the wood fireplace, he responded that the fireplace was not for the use of guests. The upper floor seemed to lack heat altogether except in the bathrooms. The bathroom fans did not function. The tub/shower I used took 15 to 20 minutes to drain, and two bathrooms had broken towel bars. Overall, an underwhelming experience. Perhaps summer is the only time to stay there.
