One of the newest houses in Surfside. Very well equipped kitchen. Both balconies have good chairs to enjoy the view. Everything worked and the house was very clean. The bedrooms are very large and have attached bathrooms.

Seashell Chalet is a clean, welcoming and comfortable home. Love the layout of the home and types of beds in bedrooms. Access to the beach is a “ramped” walk over the dunes. We LOVED the decks and hammocks! Owner very accessible.

Had a great time. Nice and cozy place for the 10 of us. Minor defects in the house (like doors that don't fully close), but no big deal. We did have a clogged bath tub but that was dealt with very quickly. Would definitely rebook in the future. Highly recommend.

The house was perfect for our stay. We decided to bring our families together under one roof for a stay at the beach and this place didn't disappoint. The view every morning and evening was so great. As mentioned in other reviews the kitchen is well stocked. The beach is a short walk away, so very convienent for any snacks or other items that need to be brought down for a day relaxing on the beach. The host was quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. The room with bunk beds is on the main floor and was perfect for all the kiddos to hangout and play. The other 3 rooms are upstairs, the beds are comforatble and two have a private bath. As with any beachhouse there are stairs, this one seemed to have a lot, so keep that in mind if you have any mobility issues. I would recommend this house to anyone needing a space for a few families and want the convenience of the beach.

Our family absolutely loved the beach house. It was beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was lots of storage for all our stuff. The location and view were great! I loved sitting on the deck with a cold drink and listening to the ocean. We all enjoyed playing in the surf and sand.

THIS WAS A GREAT LOCATION. THE HOME WAS CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. EVERYONE HAD A BLAST AND ENJOYED THEIR STAY. WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN.

Seashell Chalet is a beautiful home. It has been recently renovated and has modern, attractive flooring and fixtures. The kitchen has updated appliances and is very well equipped, it had everything we needed to prepare meals. The living area is well suited for a large or small group to spend time together comfortably. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. Clean linens and towels were provided. The location is great and the decks are delightful. So relaxing to sit on the deck and take in the view of the gulf. We enjoyed our stay and if we make it back to Texas would stay again.

The house is very well furnished. Everything was perfect. The views are amazing. The location is great away from the crowds and right on the beach. The hosts are very responsive and easy to work with.

So clean! The kitchen is well stocked with Pampered Chef items in every drawer and cabinet. Awesome fridge that kept everything at the perfect temperature. Beautiful inside and out! We loved the bunk room and the plentiful bathrooms. The upper deck provided privacy for sitting and watching waves. Communication was excellent and the owner adds the little details that matter. Quality soaps, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, nice towels, and lots of seating on the decks! Perfection! The hammocks were a huge hit for our group. The stairs are steep, so if you have mobility issues, be aware. Love this place and plan to return!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location is as perfect and just far enough out of town that it wasn’t too busy. The house was so nice and clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back!

This was by far the best beach house we have ever rented. We brought the customary paper cleaning necessities and they were already fully stocked. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Adequate parking. Great walkover! Even hammocks at the bottom! Can’t wait until our next visit

This is the best beach house we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot! They have everything you need! All you have to bring is yourself! We had a very relaxing weekend and my kids had a blast!

Tons of room and steps from the beach made this perfect for 3 couples with kids. The kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals and the place was stocked with toys for the beach. It was nice being on the very edge of town right next to the state beach. Crowds were light even as the beaches closer in to Surfside were busy. Will definitely go back!

Since they’ve put in a walkway over the dunes, getting to the beach has never been so easy. Excellent stay for some r & r.

This property is wonderful. The house is very clean, well kept, nicely decorated in a beach theme, and you cannot beat the view and proximity of the beach. It is very quiet, all you can hear is literally the wind and the ocean waves :-) The host, Monica, was fantastic, very responsive and super efficient. Everything was as she said it would be and it made the experience a breeze from booking to check in, and to check out. We made a couple of suggestions for improvement, nothing to be mentioned on here, which were well received and will most likely be implemented. Our trip with our young kids was everything we were expecting and more: Sandcastles building, clams chasing, waves watching, seashells picking, kites flying, boogie boarding, and all. We were lucky the weather was perfect in October, the sea was nice and surprisingly warm, perfect for the kids. Not sure how crowded the beach gets in the summer as it is a public beach where cars are allowed, but in October, we had the perfect seclusion we needed, and a nice little piece of beach all to ourselves ;-) all in all = A++ We will be back, should the property be available for our next trip in south Texas :-)

The house was beautiful and perfect for our family getaway for my birthday weekend. Will definitely do this yearly! Only concern were the rubber guards on the stairs - some were loose and could be a trip hazard.

Property was top of the line. We’ve stayed at several beach houses but this one was by far the best. Very clean with a lot of attention to detail. Beds were very comfortable, beach view was amazing, chairs on deck were amazing. We look forward to staying here again.
