Great location, fun cabins. A few things were broken when we arrived but we told Shelley and it was no problem. It wasn't too snowy when we got there so getting our stuff to the room was easy.

Being so close to Mammoth main lodge skiing is awesome. The ability to walk to/ ski to the lifts is great. We were able to cook our own meals and the chalet was perfect for our party of 4!

We were so excited to get to Mammoth for the first time and spend time with our friends and dogs in the snow of Mammoth-as this year has had plenty. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the cabin and friendliness of all those here. The owners were extremely accommodating and kept in touch with us before our visit-even sharing some pictures of the cabin with us of the snow. The snow cat ride to the cabin was fun for the kids and great to haul all of our gear/bags. The location of the cabin was wonderful for viewing the lifts and the close enough to parking for us to hop in the car and get in to town. As this was our first trip, we surely look forward to coming back and seeing Mammoth in the summer!

This chalet was exactly like the pictures and met our expectations perfectly. It was clean, updated, and in a perfect location- close enough to all the main attractions, but quiet and peaceful. Friendly and super helpful staff and new friends. In fact we already booked our next stay!

Second time staying in this Chalet. Love the location, cleanliness, and comfort of this cute little house. The managers on site are so accommodating and sweet! Recommend this place to every friend that asks and will stay here over and over again!

The chalet was Clean.. It had lots of towels! The mattresses were all very good. It was close to lodge and parking.

We have stayed in Chalet 1 several times, it is perfect for our family of 5. We are walking distance to the ski school and can see the kids on the chair lift. We love the home away from home feel, with all the amenities I could possibly need including a DVR (we got to record our football game) . Can't wait to come back.

We've stayed in Chalet 1 two years in a row and our friends have stayed in others so we've been in many of the chalets. They're all very clean and well kept. Chalet 1 has two spacious living areas and the views of the mountain are amazing. The bedrooms and bathroom are very clean and well kept. When you arrive in the winter, the staff greets you at your car and places your gear in a SNOW CAT to take you to the chalet. It's really fun and the kids love it too. All the chalets allow you to ski-in and ski-out. You can walk to the lodge or Yogi's for dinner if you feel like leaving. Or you can cook in the well-appointed kitchen if you want to stay in. In the morning you don't need to rush to get to the mountain because you're next to it. We typically start early, but after a few days in a row it's nice to know you can start later and not worry about parking. You just put on your skis and go. After a few hours on the mountain you can go back to the chalet to hang out. If you feel like hitting the mountain again, you just go. The place is awesome. So is the staff. They literally go out of their way to ensure your stay is great.

We love staying at the Chalet's and this is now our favorite Chalet. It has everything, comfortable furniture, heater for cold winter nights, and plenty of seating to entertain. With my parents staying in Main Lodge, it was an easy location for them to come over every night and eat dinner, but gave us our space for the night. We will absolutely be staying in Chalet 1 in the future.

We spent a lovely weekend at the Chalet, and will definitely be back. Was a joy from start to finish, not to mention the mere minutes it took to get to the Main Lodge. Thank you!

We had a great time, the place is very clean and dog friendly. Clearly previous guests were also grateful to find a nice dog friendly place and respected the space. Great hiking for the dog in the early am right across the street and behind the chalets. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Mountain bike rentals are a short walk away, the trails are right in front. We would stay again, price was very reasonable. There were only two of us so it was more space than we needed but it was nice to have the extra room. Very peaceful too!

Me, my wife and our dog spent a weekend in this beautiful place. The dog loved it. The house is very clean and cozy and is in a great location. Mammoth Mountain Ski Area Gondola is next to the house. Also the shuttle to Devils Postpile National Monument stops almost in front of the house. Bike rental is next to the Gondola. The place is very dog friendly.The property owner and the property manager are very nice! We definitely will come back and recommend this nice place.

Chalet 1 was the absolute sickest place to spend a weekend shredding the gnar, snarfing the spring pow, and just plain getting rad! The cabin was so close to the chairlifts it only took a few seconds to walk over and catch a ride. However, it was still nestled in the woods enough to have a private stay. The facilities were amazing! The beds were like clouds, the shower was perfect after a day of shredding, and burning a fire during evening shenanigans made it ultra cozy! We brought our dogs and they absolutely loved it! They got to run around, chase squirrels, sniff butts, and bark at snarky deer. BONUS: None of us got eaten by bears! I've stayed in a lot of resort towns and sometimes you'll get stuck with the jaded slumlord type of people that just want to take your money. Thankfully, this was not the case at Chalet 1! The staff here were the most genuine, sweetest, helpful people you could ever hope for. Friendly from the second I arrived, these two fully encapsulated the joy and beauty of being up in Mammoth. If you're looking to have a tremendous weekend, you've found the right spot! Stop browsing rental sites and just book this place already! Can't get closer to the lifts. They offer lift ticket discounts and board rental delivery. No problems with noise. No one can hear you all night. I will stay here any time I come to mammoth.

The chalets are older buildings, but #1 where we stayed is well taken care of and is the closest to Main Lodge. The other buildings seemed well taken care of too. The managers are friendly and attentive. Other chalets are set back in the woods a bit with no direct car access in the winter, but there is a snow cat to help get your luggage to and from the chalet. The ride is a lot of fun for kids as well. The snow cats also keep a nice, long sledding hill groomed at the back of the complex for off-mountain snow play and there's at least one hiking trail that starts at the complex. We had a great time and would definitely consider staying there again.

Great location and incredible service. Perfect place for any family get away. Comfortable and convenient with top notch service from the property managers. We had great snow and could access the lifts without any hassle. We can't wait to go back!

We are a family of 5 who enjoys mountain biking and home-cooked meals. The chalets are perfect units for those who want to be right on the mountain and still have the comforts of home. Loved our 5 night stay! Being right up front is definitely nice after a long day of mountain biking :) Plus we enjoyed being able to sit on the deck and watch all the fun the kids and families have at the adventure zone, as well as watch other mountain bikers come down off the hill. We've stayed in four other chalets over the years and we were surprised by the nice improvements in the unit: updated kitchen and bathroom, 3 flat panel tvs and a PS2 system! As it is a small unit, there is not a lot of room for food storage in the kitchen. My thoughts: what about a shelf or two placed up high on the outside of the right hand side of the dish storage cabinet? Or maybe put some pantry shelves in the hall closet? It's not a deal breaker. We were able to make do with the space we had.

We had a marvelous stay at the mammoth mountain chalets. Wonderful interiors, top notch service and an excellent location to all the action at main lodge. I Highly recommend the adventure center for the kids (I have a 4 & 8 year old who had a blast!) the adventure center offers... Climbing Wall Zip Line Bungee Trampoline Bike Park Practice Loop (This is all literally right out your door!) reasonably priced too Kids Adventure Pass - $39 Let your kids loose for the entire day at the ultimate mountain playground! My only qualm was that they had a yummy burrito cart by the center but from my experience a hot dog or hamburger cart would be a great addition for some kid friendly food close to the activities. The chalet was top notch... Stunning views, spacious, clean and best location to the lodge and family fun... The nights are quiet and cozy with a perfect fireplace and a well stocked kitchen with everything needed.... We had more room then we knew what to do with really made it easy for us all to relax... The property managers made sure we had everything we needed and our stay was at the highest standard and made us feel like part of the family... Behind the chalet is a beautiful hiking trail, not too strenuous perfect for all ages.. My kids rode bikes and collected treasures for hours.. Oh and I can't forget for the bike riders of all ages the chalets are right across from the Mammoth Mountain Bike Park which offers terrain for every ability level..my husband rode All in all this was our best mammoth trip yet! So glad we stayed here excited to book more dates in the future!

This was our second visit and it couldn't have been better. Our small family loves the convenience and comfortable accommodations. Happily for us, there was so much snow this trip we HAD to take advantage of the snowcat to deliver us and our stuff to the cabin. So much fun! Coming back to the cabin for lunch after a morning of skiing/boarding, watching the colors change on the mountains as the sun sets behind us, enjoying an evening cocktail while fat snowflakes gently cover the picturesque view. It's a Mammoth dream come true. We've only visited during the winter - and now that I actually know how to access the slopes without taking off my skis - be sure to ask Tim or Romie, if like me you don't figure it out right away, I'm even more convinced this is the perfect Mammoth location. :) We're now looking forward to planning a summer visit too. The pictures give you a realistic idea of this cabin, but the owners keep making upgrades, so it keeps getting even better. Can't wait for our next visit.

The chalet was awesome! Had all the supplies we needed, tons of firewood, tvs, plates forks, everything you could think of. Throwback with the ps2 and crazy taxi, had a blast on that one. Staff is friendly and accommodating, all of them seem to really enjoy helping as well. Did I mention you can ski in to the room? Also the lifts are a 30 sec walk away.
