We were all excited to get away and as soon as we arrived exploring our home for the week we were all the more excited. Exactly what we were after!! Right on the water, big deck space with BBQ and big table with lots of chairs, beautiful green lawn to relax on in the back yard. Comfortable beds and couches, bathrooms and television (the one in the main bedroom needs work) Great little jetty to tie up our fishing boat and swim off. Pub within 3 minutes' walk along the bank.
Thanks so much for sharing your house with our family. We will be rebooking for the same time next year.

Was a beautiful location with a very well furnished inviting home. The outdoor kitchen area was very dangerous as beers just kept on flowing whilst overlooking a slightly full Lake Eildon.

Fantastic home with all the amenities needed, outdoor decking area overlooking the water is fantastic and when not our boating was where we spent most of our time. Will definitely be booking again for a family stay :)

The house and bungalow were perfect for our 4 gemerstions of family. The outdoor deck and entertainment area was sensational and the view to the water fantastic. The kids wete kept busy trowing rocks into the water and we even caught a fish which was a bit of excitement. Great walks and places to explore and an easy walk to the pub. Perfect to our dogs with use of dog run while we went to the snow for the day which was aabout a 1hr drive Highly recommend a stay here.

The property was amazing, in the best location. It had everything we needed. I would 100% recommend staying at this property.
The owners were awesome and easy to talk to (even had the fire going) so the house was warm when we arrived.

Perfect accommodation for a X4 generation family holiday. Awesome house and outdoor area and safe yard for everyone. The house had everything that we needed. Very clean and very comfortable. The fish were even biting! We will be back. Rob and Cindy were perfect hosts and very helpful. Thanks

Great house for the whole family . Very comfortable with everything you need for a stay away. Our group of 10 had plenty of room. Kitchen well stocked with all equipment Great outdoor area with undercover kitchen and barbecue . Lake so close, literally 50 metres from the back door. Grandkids loved fishing and caught plenty of redfin and a carp. Took the tinny and found it easy to launch from the bank. Relaxing weekend away . Only slight critique there was no outside heating and it gets very chilly at night . May be a few reading books and kids games, even a canoe would be great. but overall very happy. Enjoyed our first stay at Lake Eildon , Bonnie Doon. Would definitely recommended this property.

Had the best week as this property. Our two dogs enjoyed it just as much as us. Direct access to the lake meant convenience and so much fun. The house was so well appointed for our big fam. We loved it.

Absolutely stunning property, such a great location and just beautiful
We will be rebooking alot more in the future. Owners Cindy and Rob were a dream and very accommodating for us. For a big family having a nice "mums" weekend away was just what we all needed

Very accommodating owners, Rob and Cindy were fantastic to deal with, the house was very comfortable with a large deck with everything you need outside.
The water is currently right up to the back fence where you can launch a boat quite easily.

A great spot, right on the water. Parked the boat at the house. Dogs loved running around. And two families enjoyed the outdoor deck and living area the most. Teenagers loved the freedom of the Bungalow. Lots of family games played and when the weather gods allowed (a top of 14 degrees) we got out on the boat. Despite the weather, a fun time had by all. Handy that the pub is a walk and enjoyed some great restaurants and the new Anvil Brewery in Mansfield. Who doesn't love a mini golf tournament! Thanks Rob and Cindy. We will be back if you'll have us.

We stayed at here as our base for a skiing holiday at Mt.Buller when I couldn't find accommodation on mountain and I'm so glad I found CDL! The house is very spacious and clean and was perfect for our group of 4 couples. With 3 double-bed rooms in the main house and the bungalow everyone was able to have some privacy when not in the common areas. Everything you need for a weekend away is here with a well appointed kitchen, comfy sofas and a great covered outdoor area. When my big tray of pasta bake couldn't fit in the kitchen oven we used the big BBQ in the outdoor area as an oven!
As we stayed in winter I can confirm that the heating in all areas of the house is very good and the showers stayed hot even after 8 people showering one after another after a day of skiing!
Rob and Cindy were very responsive hosts and replied promptly to any queries I had.
We will definitely come back to CDL!

We came for a weekend away at the snow and couldn’t be happier with our stay. Rob & Cindy we’re very happy to cater to our needs and we’re easy to communicate with.

Great location, quiet, beautiful lake, warm and comfortable property
This property has well accommodated our group of 12 people with its amenities and rooms. The deck is gorgeous and very suitable for a big group. Easy access to view the Eildon Lake with 3 minute drive to the rail trail Eildon crossing is a great plus.

An amazing Getaway
Cindy & Rob very generous hosts, the property absolutely amazing, everything was top standard, inside and out, everything you need for the most amazing weekend away.
We had the best family weekend away utilizing the bungalow and house, great outdoor deck and plenty of grass out the back for the kids to play, cant thank you enough, Cindy and Rob :)

Wow, wow, wow!
Cindy was a fantastic host, flexible, responsive and helpful. The property itself was ideal for our large group with a variety of spaces, three bathrooms, laundry, all the kitchen gear we needed to feed the large group, and a fabulous covered deck, with dining table, comfy couch, outdoor kitchen and TV. The location on the edge of the water, great for fishing and an easy walk to the Bonnie Doon Motel just added to the stay. Thanks Cindy and Rob.

Amazing location, amazing property, amazing hosts
The property was absolutely perfect for our stay. The property has direct lake access which allowed us to moor our boat on the edge of the lake at the end of each day. The outdoor entertaining area is the perfect setup and large enough for our size group. Facilities were modern and clean, air conditioning in every room, 3 TVs and multiple fridges.
We did have some people working remotely during our stay and the internet was a little slow, however this was all noted in the property description and we came prepared.
Overall Rob and Cindy were the perfect hosts with the perfect house. We will be booking again.

Amazing property, well equipped for big groups, super tidy and conveniently appointed. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, Bonnie Doon having limited resources locally, the house has all you need and of course, a stones throw from the pub/bistro.
