Its in a great location, very relaxing.

Great overall place to stay especially for families/friends. Close walk to the beach. Comfortable beds, great outdoor spaces.

We've made the trip to Port A multiple times, this place by far met our expectations. Conveniently located close to attractions & a short walk to the beach for days of fun & relaxation. A couple notes to the homeowner. The bathroom Tub off the kitchen area drains slow & the knob to the shower is a bit difficult to turn on. The Master bath toilet runs throughout the day & evening. Other than these small nuisances, your home meet all our needs. We plan to be back to Port A in the Spring.

The house was perfectly located near town. The best was the beach access. The house had plenty of bathrooms, outside shower station and comfortable inside. The kitchen was well equipped for our meals. We would stay here again.

Unfortunately before our trip even started we had issues with the property manager, Matthew. First, it may be helpful to know Port Aransas is a little different than most vacation rental destinations. Usually, the host just gives you access (code to the door), no personal check-in required. Port Aransas has guests check-in in person which I assume is to limit college parties. This is where I can assume things went wrong. I initially asked Matthew if my son who's 20 y/o would be able to do the check-in process since I wouldn't be getting there until very late the day of check-in. His initial answer was to say he could check us in late, instead of answering the question directly. I then asked if my 28 y/o daughter could do the check-in. Again, instead of answering, he called my cell to say he would check us in at 3am if need be. I asked again about my 28 y/o daughter checking us in. He kept bring up my son and then said we were "sketchy and he was going to cancel the reservation and we could stay somewhere else with our 8 dogs". We were bringing 3 dogs - just goes to show some of the pettiness. The whole phone conversation caught me off guard. After I hung up, I was unsure if we needed to find another rental. Since our phone conversation went so poorly I sent another email. Matthew responded via text that he wasn't going to cancel our rental, no apology, only stating "Apparently we have a miscommunication. Let's start over." "Self entitled customers have been crapping on us all summer. And after 100 days in a row without a day off at 16 hours a day. We're tired." I reiterated via text that I'm simply trying to workout the logistics with my family as we're all arriving at different times. Finally after more back and forth, he agreed my daughter could do the check-in. Bottom line, all of this could have been avoided. As far as the place goes, it lists ocean view which is not a lie. You just have to go up an outdoor staircase and lean over the railing, but technically you can see the ocean from up there. The description is correct about the property having supplies, but it's nothing out of the ordinary. Similar to other vacation rentals, there's hodgepodge of garage sale worthy cookware. Just don't let the description give you any illusions of this rental being fully stocked with everything you need. You still need your own beach towels, shampoo, coffee, charcoal, etc. We had no issues beyond check-in.

This house was perfect for our stay! They have comfortable beds, 2 refrigerators which made it nice for all of our groceries, and if you have kids, lots of beach toys. We really enjoyed the house and the space we had for 3 families.

Loved being able to walk to Beach Lodge and the beach! Wonderful, large balcony is perfectly positioned with lots of shade! Also great was the 2 baths up and 2 baths down in this 2 story home!

Had a wonderful stay.

We had 3 teenagers and 6 adults and this house was perfect for our group. This was the 2nd time for a family trip to Port Aransis (last visit was 2015) but the kids said they liked this property because it had 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. We had everything we needed for cooking meals and enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the mornings. The beach was very close and although we only used the pool once it was super close. Thank you for providing a stocked home to make vacations enjoyable to large families.

The details about the listing are all true, and the house was better than expected. The location is excellent, short walk to the beach and a nice neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked for a rental. Plenty of space for everyone. Lots of beach toys for use in the garage. Best feature: so many bathrooms!!! The living room furniture was uncomfortable, but that was minor. We’d stay there again!

Nice large clean house with great deck and very responsive guest services who took care of minor issue without delay. We'll be coming back.

We spent a week with our two pups and walked every day on the beach. What little cooking I did was easy with the toaster oven and range to;. the kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need; as we’re the bedrooms and baths. Periwinkle is just a short walk to the Sandpoint boardwalk and the beach. Loved our time there!

The home listing pictures do not give it justice. It’s a really nice and accommodating house. Master bed mattress was great so I’m sure the others were too! You can’t beat the location. And the house cleaning crew did a great job! I worked remotely several days and the internet service was spot on! Highly recommend this place!

Periwinkle at Sand Point is a great location and wonderful house. The four bed, four bath layout was exactly what we needed! Our family and friends were very comfortable. Really appreciate the pet friendliness, too. Definitely would rent again.

Was just the ticket for a group of teachers! There were 8 in our group and the set up with a bathroom for each bedroom was perfect!!!!! Close to the pool, short walk to the beach…used the wagon in the garage to help get our stuff down to the beach. Comfy beds and such a relaxing atmosphere! Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We’re looking to make this a yearly tradition after a long school year and would most definitely come back to Periwinkle Paradise!!!! Thanks for everything!

Periwinkle in Paradise was perfect for our family! The four bedrooms, each with its own bath, was a win! Matthew was great to work with and answered any questions we had. Check-in was a breeze, and the house was very clean when we arrived. We were located just a short walk to the beach with easy boardwalk access. The beach access by car was also very close. Our family had a wonderful experience. We would recommend this property!

Close to beach and pool. Good location! Kitchen ware could use some replacement especially to cook for large family. Two refrigerators was a plus. Enjoyed our stay.

The house was perfect! Especially LOVED every room has it's own bathroom. It's about a 3 minute walk to the beach ⛱ I would totally stay there again.

Perriewinkle is our default vacation house in Port A. It’s been a number of years since we’ve been here last but it was like nothing has changed at this house. Clean, great layout and awesome area. Highly recommend.
