Wonderful house and location! Very prompt response to a few issues that occurred. Only disappointment is that it is not available for next year! Hoping they get cancellations!!

We enjoyed our stay, the walk to the beach was short, the house was clean and had beach cottage vibes which made our vacation even better!

The property was better than advertised. Perfect location in a quaint little beach town. The owners were great. In fact they mailed us our rapid charger that we accidentally left in the bedroom. Only negative was that the master bed was softer than I prefer.

Everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed the outside shower after time at the beach.

Amanda's Seahorse Cottage was sparkling clean, comfortable, and it provides everything you need inside and outside for a beach vacation. This trip was a return visit for my parents and my husband and I, and we'll definitely be back in the future. We love the house and the location!

Love the place, newly renovated love the decor perfect for the beach. AC was cold for 75 degrees, loved the outdoor shower coming from the beach. Also I was surprised how comfortable the beds were, took care of our aches and pains of the day. My comment is the TV. It’s streaming and could not figure it out on how to get local channels so we didn’t see much news while there, maybe some instructions would be nice. This comment however does not take away from my overall review as we are there for the beach anyway. Will book again

Great house, decor and location. Just down for a few days looking around the area for a new location to come this winter or spring. Used to spend that time at FMB until Ian hit so looking for a new get away spot and this was a great find.

Everything was as stated on VRBO. Place looked recently updated and perfectly decorated. Thank you for letting us stay at your home!

We had a great time.

2 weeks before our June 29th-July 2nd stay i noticed a most recent review regarding the roaches. I was told that the roaches were brought in by previous guests so they have been spraying. I was assured i would be bug free, as this was a major concern for me. Upon walking in the first thing i noticed were 2 adult dead roaches in the kitchen. That night the AC went out and we spent all night in a miserable 85 degree heat inside. They did address the issue at noon the next day. As that day went on, i killed wellover TEN roaches in the kitchen.They were in the cupboards with the kitchenware, countertops and walls. I was so disgusted that I would not allow any of my family to use anything in the kitchen. We actually had to put our open chip bags in the microwave for fear of them getting into the bags. We ended up buying paper and plastic plates cups and silverware to use bc of the roaches crawling on everything. The plastic holder where their silverware is kept was filthy full of food crumbs andhair! The cupboards had crumbs which i believe kept the roaches coming back. There were dirty containers stored in the cabinets and the coffee pot was also dirty with a bug in it.I took many pictures of the disappointment. When i shared the info with the owner the only response was, we will continue to spray hope you enjoyed your stay. Well no i didnt enjoy the stay bc our family was so grossed out by it. Just so disappointing especially for the $1200 we spent renting it.We will not be back

Amanda’s seahorse cottage was everything the description said it would be. If anything I would say the description pictures did not do it justice. The location was great, the property was clean, it was a very short walk across the street to the beach and the added use of the dock for sunrise was great. On the down side, we could not use the kitchen to cook meals the way we had intended. There was a major problem with roaches, especially at night. Instead of cooking the groceries we bought we ended up eating out at almost every meal. This was nice to some degree but also very expensive. When we notified the owners about the infestation of roaches they were quick to respond but the local bug company could not make it out to spray the house. They did however offer an apology for our inconvenience. They stated the house had been sprayed a week prior. We ended up going to a hardware store and buying bug spray to spray it ourselves. I believe once the bug problem is handled this will be a great choice for anyone visiting Manasota Key!

Very much enjoyed our week just 120 steps from the beach. House was great, all the amenities needed, great lanai and outdoor grill area. Mattresses are too soft for our liking, back bathroom was hard to get hot water and water drains were slow.

This venue was awesome. The home has everything anyone would need! Seriously it is as clean and complete plus a great location!

We loved this place! Great little spot in Englewood and on Manasota Key! We loved playing at the beach and found hundreds of shark teeth fossils! My older boys loved fishing at the dock in Lemon bay. We are really hoping to make it back there again next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Manasota Key. The house was very well equipped and clean, in a quiet neighborhood, near the beach and restaurants. The beds were comfortable. The only issue we had with our stay was that, from the property description, we thought we would be able to put our sons family together in one bedroom, but the futon is the living room.

The kayaks and bikes were what sold us on the listing and we were not disappointed at all - we loved everything about this place!! The location can’t be beat and the owners thought of everything to make us feel at home. Will definitely return.

The beach is directly across the street.

The moment we walked in the door we knew this was the right choice. It really was home away from home. We could honestly relax and enjoy our short time there. We appreciated the information binder with menus from local restaurants and more. We hope to take advantage of this wonderful home away from home again.

Perfect vacation house. Everything you need for a day at the beach is supplied and it is a very short walk to get there. We found tons of shark teeth, over 400! The house was clean, well equipped and in a quiet neighborhood with lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We'll be back. Thank you for sharing your home!

We loved our stay at Seahorse Cottage! The cottage was very clean and very well stocked! The cottage was right across the street from the beach entrance! My son loved fishing off the dock and he caught plenty of fish! Walking distance to the restaurants. Located in a perfect location of the key! We loved collecting shark teeth and the sunsets were breath taking! The best Vrbo property that we have booked! Made some great family memories and can’t wait to book again! #takemebacktothekey

Great home. Very clean, loved the screened in porch and fenced backyard. Loved staying here.

We weathered a mild hurricane but decided to leave early anyway.

The place was very clean and very comfortable. My only problem was the fishing dock location was misleading. The greatest problem was the town’s policy regarding walking dogs on the beach. This policy is ridiculous.

This location/house was great. The access to the beach, the cleanliness of the house, and the backyard/firepit were all highlights of our stay. I cannot wait to return to the area and will make this house (or the host's other location) a top choice!

My wife and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary and it was perfect for us. We rode the bikes to stump pass each day. The beach across the street was great. Close to restaurants such as Lock and Key which had amazing Trigger Fish. We will be back again. Thank you!

Beautiful beach house.

Everything was perfect! Exceeded our expectations. There was absolutely nothing that we needed that was not there. Debbie was wonderful to deal with and the house was absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to return 😃

This property has all the amenities of home. It is a great location in walking distance to all restaurants and just steps to the beach. Have stayed at this property before with my husband and would definately rent again. Great Outdoor space & Privacy! Martha S

Seahorse cottage was decorated amazing. Super clean!!! Plenty of space in the house for all. Great walking location to beach, restaurants, etc....loved it! One of the best VRBO I have ever rented
