If you go to Whitefish, Montana, you won’t want to stay elsewhere. Great location, incredible views, and very comfortable.

Location is 5/5. Space is cozy and good for 3-4 people. Kitchen could use some new pots and pans. All in all we had a lovely time and would stay there again.

Very clean, great supply of towels and household necessities. Comfy beds. Great washer and dryer. Downside was kitchen .. 1 ice tray No stemmed wine glasses Limited plates/silverware and pots/pans But gas grill was terrific and so was Montana !!

This was the perfect size and layout for 2 of us. A family of 4 might feel tight. Bathrooms were modern, clean and well stocked. Kitchen was all we needed. We made breakfast each morning and cooked in a few nights. There's a bar counter that seats 3, but no dining area, so again it seems best for 2-3 people. The location is super convenient to the mountain across the road. One complaint is that the hot tub, which is right outside the rear bedroom, would run it's jets all night long despite attempts to turn it off. Made a LOT of noise and impacted my sleep. I complained to the manager but they kind of dismissed the issue.

We liked the location, the cabin decor overall and the beds were comfortable. Some things to improve: 1. the cabin is very drafty, which I can understand since it's a log cabin, but it might help to seal things off better. 2. The hot tub was VERY dirty when we first arrived to the point where we couldn't use it, which was extremely disappointing because this was the main reason we selected the cabin. Then it was serviced, but it was done during on our last day and didn't heat up in time for us to use it, so a suggestion is to service it during the transition days so the new renters have a hot tub to use.

We loved our tiny house. Whitefish is a beautiful town and we loved this house as a home base.

This property was so nice and clean. It was also very convenient to Glacier National Park.

I stayed at Black Bear with my (2) teenagers. It was the perfect amount of space for all of us and the location was perfect. The check in and check out were seamless and easy. All the details of the house were spot on. My kids enjoyed being up in the mountain for the ease of hikes and then heading into town for dinners/lunches/shopping. We went to Glacier National Park 3x during our visit for hiking and white water rafting and it was easy to get to and from. I highly recommend if you are coming to northern Montana to stay at Black Bear Cabins.! You, your family, and your friends will not regret it no matter the time of year.

Stayed at this adorable cabin this summer. Had direct access to trails & came back at the end of the day to relaxing in the hot tub.

The property is clean, close to the mountain and super convenient. And communication we received from the owners/managers was thoughtful, kind and respectful. There was only two people in total, so the place was perfect. It may be tight for a larger group. Overall, good place to stay!

The cabin was exactly what we needed, and though occasionally it felt snug, it worked fine for the three of us. One other young child would have been okay too as long as they were old enough to navigate the loft ladder.

My Family and I stayed @ Black Bear Cabin it was well equipped and had everything we need to have a great stay. Location worked well for an early start on chair 3 to access the mountain and to make it back in the afternoon for some Apres in the comfy confines of the cabin. Great for are children and the night skiing close to the cabin!

This was an adorable, cozy cabin that was well decorated and had modern conveniences! The location was perfect. Our family of 4 had enough space in this small cabin. We loved seeing wildlife right outside our door (ex. Lots of deer). It is a small cabin with little storage, so pack light! We just unpacked our suitcases and stored the suitcases in the trunk of our rental car, since we had a weeklong stay. The owner was easily reached if we had any needs and he was very pleasant and helpful! We will definitely revisit the area and will possibly return to this cabin!

Our little family of 4 spent 3 nights in this sweet cabin. It was absolutely adorable, great decor and clean. We loved it and already want to go back. Thanks for the great place!

Just a perfect weekend right before the weather warmed up too much (March 14 - 18). Everything was ideal except the parking spot was icy and my suv literally started sliding towards the road while parked but there was another spot to park. Had to walk a very short distance to get to the hill but very close to ski in ski out. We all had a great weekend, awesome place to stay

Am a bit late in review...We have family in Whitefish but wanted to stay at the mountain for a couple of nights while visiting over the 2018 holiday break. When I showed my wife a couple of the places available, I almost didn't show here because I knew where she was going to want to stay when she saw the pics of these cabins. Is true that it is "cozy," but it is thoughtfully set up, and it is convenient to chair 3. Even with a little less snow than normal, we were able to essentially ski in/ski out-a very very short walk from the cabin to chair 3 but ski'd to the driveway with street covered in snow. Great that it has the bathroom in the loft area for the kids, private hot tub was nice for those brave enough, and the place was stocked with the necessary essentials. Our kids are both 7+, so the ladder to the loft wasn't an issue for them, but make sure to look at the pictures to assess whether it might be for you or not. Host was great - cable went out in the entire county, which meant internet was out for the "resting periods," and he texted me what was happening, and when it came back on, he sent a text to let us know. Kids loved it, they didn't want to leave, and they now want to stay there for a couple of days every time we go back. We promised them that we would after convincing them that we could NOT build one of these in our back yard at home. Thank you for such a great place in a great location. Although living in CA, I don't tell anyone about Whitefish who doesn't already know about it!!!

We had a very memorable Family ski trip and stayed in this great little cabin. The double bed was very comfortable. On site laundry was key, since we packed light. The fireplace added warmth and ambience. The kitchen was great, we prepared several meals during our stay. My only wish was that there was a place for all five of us to sit down to eat a meal together. There is a great bar with three barstools so our kids could sit, but my husband and I would stand during family meals. We would definitely go back - my kids didn’t want to leave!

We stayed for 3 nights at this amazing little cabin. Although there is not as much room as we are used to...this made the trip memorable. We had 3 adults and 3 kids on our trip, and there was plenty of room for us. We actually had a super bowl party in the cabin (just the 6 of us), and it made for a very unique super bowl....one we won’t forget. Being able to get up in the morning, click on the ski’s and ski to the 3 chair was awesome. Also, on Sunday the conditions were very poor, so we skied back to the cabin and sat in the hot tub. Once I was warmed up, I put my gear back on and skied back down to the chair lift. The cabin had everything we needed, and it was very nice. Also, just a short 5 minute walk down to the little grocery store (which has anything you would need) and also 5 minutes to the bar/rental shop/restaurant. We will definitely be back. The owner was great to deal with, and kept us well informed of what to do apon arrival. Had we stayed in a whitefish motel, the poor weather would have ruined the trip, but being able to ski to our cabin to warm up and continue skiing was great. I would recommend this cabin to any group of 6 or less. Great experience!

The owners were very helpful both in the booking process, letting us know how to check in, advice about the area and they provided a bunch of information in the cabin about things to do locally. Would go back anytime, winter or summer due to location by the slopes for skiing or hiking or biking.

The cabin was wonderful! Location was incredible with stunning views. The inside of the cabin was very clean, well decorated, and included everything that we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Whitefish area.

This was the perfect retreat for my husband and I. If you ever thought you wanted to live in a tiny house this a perfect trial! We loved it. The house is well furnished with comfortable furniture and linens. It had everything we needed which was very helpful. The owner was quick to answer any messages. It’s a beautiful spot with a pretty place to sit on the front porch for coffee and the sunrise. A quick walk takes you to the chairlift or alpine slide, while the town is a short trip away. We will be back.

We had a great time at this Whitefish cabin! It’s a small place but has a very thoughtful layout that makes excellent use of space. Our family of 5 was very comfortable, with the two youngest sleeping up in the loft, the oldest downstairs on the sofa sleeper, and my wife and I in the back bedroom. It was nice to have bathrooms both up and downstairs. The kids especially loved hot tubbing every night after long days hiking in Glacier NP. I highly recommend this place!

Property was clean and easily accessible! WiFi and cable available, great large loft space with separate bathroom and tub upstairs. We enjoyed our weeklong stay and will definately visit again.
