We enjoyed our stay in Cabin two. Everything went well. The main level bathroom door could use top track adjustment so that it would not go past the floor stop. The cabin had everything our family of 4 needed. It was a very cozy and comfortable. I noticed that the other outside deck on the front had small drink tables with the chairs, while not necessary, that would be a nice add. Thanks again, we would stay again in any of the 4 Black bear Cabins. Thanks!

The cabin was beautiful, rustic but comfortable and cozy. It was very well stocked, everything we needed, and the mangers are very helpful and responsive. It’s literally 100 yards from Chair 3 and a short walk to restaurants and stores. We didn’t have to start the trick for three days! Only downside was not the property owners fault, somebody is building condos like an arms length from the back fence. They are super tall! But the view out the front is magnificent. We will be back.

I want to be as detailed as possible to clearly share with future guests. LOCATION; *The location is ideal for ski in/ski out. Very easy to get right on chair 3 lift and head to other parts of the mountain. *4 minute walk to Village for rentals/shopping/food *Having 4WD or AWD may be needed to pull in to parking area because if its potential icy incline PROPERTY; *Extremely clean and GREAT cabin feel *It is small and if privacy is limited (there were 3 of us) *Very dry so it would have been nice to have a humidifier *With only a couple restaurants in Village we planned to cook in most nights however a limited amount kitchenware had us being creative ie; cooked on grill but no steak knives *With no dining table it could have been beneficial to have tv tables available *It would have been helpful to acknowledge the construction behind the unit. We literally had conversation with construction workers while in hot tub *Had an issue with bedroom heater and hot tub. Both were handled quickly and efficiently by management. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and even considering coming back to Black Bear Cabins. Because there were just the 3 of us we were comfortable throughout the stay. Thank you for a great vacation and wonderful memories!

This stay, #2. Sadly, we had to leave a day early as the construction had started at 7am right behind the buildings, even after they had spoken with them previously in the past. No mention of a credit, even a small amount was offered, just a "sorry, we will speak with them again". The stove was also pretty dirty, and it could have used an overall dusting of the place. A great location, but unless #4 is available and the building complete, will pass.

Location was ideal for skiing. Communication was excellent. The cabin worked great for our family of 3. Two adults and a 10 year old. I think it would be challenging with more than 4 to be comfortable with luggage and storage and not feeling on top of each other. It’s a very communal living space, so you hear every move which for us was good. With that, we really thought the cabin was great. Walking distance to Bierstube and rental which was great and easy, ski in and out. You can’t beat this location and the cabin is very neat, organized and well appointed. One thing to consider is it’s very dry in the cabin is having some humidifiers accessible. We couldn’t believe how dry it was. Thanks for the stay. We had a great stay.

Nice location on the mountain. Easy to get to. Looks recently renovated. Comforters and extra blankets by the couch were dirty ( we tossed them to the side) The AC was frozen when we got there and water was dripping on the kitchen counter so we had to shut it off I'm 90 degree days weather (it was hot) . Also lighting on the outside stairs would be helpful, theu were hard to see at might with the porch light even. Beautifully area!

Loved the cabin, it was a perfect place to stay while enjoying Whitefish and Glacier National Park.

As soon as we arrived, we fell in love with the location of this cabin, and how clean and cute the cabin was inside! It looks exactly like the photos provided and was extremely cozy with the fireplace and views of the mountains. The check in and check out process was straight forward and easy to follow. Close to downtown whitefish, glacier and incredible hiking trails.

Great place extremely close to Chair 3 for easy ski in/ski out access. Also a very short walk to the village. It's a small place, but there was plenty of room for two of us. Four people would work great as well. Maxing out at 6 would be pretty tight. Would recommend strongly for a couple or family of four.

We had a great time skiing and Whitefish for the first time and the cabin could not have been in a better location to the village and the hill. I think Whitefish has the best tree skiing I have ever skied. I would reckoned the cabin as well as the ski resort..

We’ve stayed here multiple times, it’s always awesome and great for family’s.

We feel like minimal effort was taken to maintain the cabin properly. Both the oven and the stove didn't seem to work correctly. The burners would stay on high. The oven was way too hot for the setting and stayed in convection mode no matter where the dial was set. The hot tub was dirty and foamy. The front windows didn't have any blinds. The shower curtain kept falling down. The upstairs bathroom stunk like sewage.

We loved the cleanliness and access to the slopes. Was a fabulous ski vacation. Thank you so much!

This cabin has utilized ever bit of space to make your stay comfortable. The upstairs soaking tub is just wonder may be a tiny kitchen but stocked with enough dishes, paper towels and tpaper.

This cabin was perfect for a family of 4. We completely enjoyed our stay!

Arrived with hot tub dirty and low on water. Management had spa vendor out next day. That next night came back from days outing to spa with nasty brown slime on surface. Management verbally said we would be comped for first two nights, but in the end only credited 100 dollars. Spa was the reason we went with this listing. Big fail since our hiking and mountain biking days did not include evening soaks to relieve aches. If that weren't enough, we also woke up the first morning to earth moving equipment and chainsaws immediately behind unit. Will not be back with this company or property.

This a great location by the upper lodge area. Very clean and well set up for a ski vacation. The hot tub was nice after being on the slopes. It was perfect for our family of 4.

Great location to lifts and gorgeous views. Loved having the private hot tub right there. Property manager was responsive and accessible. Charming decor and comfy beds with everything you need. Get a car with decent traction to get up the street, otherwise perfect! Definitely will be back!

It is very cozy but not cramped, best for couples or small families. If I were to visit here with strictly friends I would limit to 4 people max eliminating the need to double up in any bed...6 people is the stated limit which requires doubling up in the master bed and sleeper sofa.I could not be more pleased with our experience...will be booking a week for next year to make this an annual tradition.

This cabin is adorable! So well done, tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities! We had a fantastic time, and the ski-in/ski-out was absolutely perfect. We look forward to booking it again!

We had no idea how incredible Whitefish was! The ski resort was amazing. We loved our cozy bear cabin. We would love to come back. We made memories here that we will never forget.

Perfect ski in/ski out location, like literally can ski off hill, up driveway to front door. Perfect for family of 4, own hot tub particularly nice during Covid times. Had everything we needed to eat in. Would definitely stay here again in future.

The black log cabin sure stands out in the white snow. It's so pretty. We loved our stay here. Whitefish was on our bucket list. My husband and I soaked up every moment. We did some skiing (the slopes are right outside the front door) and shopped and ate in downtown. I never thought I'd love the cold but I fell in love with this place. The cabin was so cute and warm. It looks like something out of a magazine. We hope to return in the summer.

Three best friends recently took a couple days off from Pandemic Panic and went skiing in Whitefish. We had a great time! The neat thing about these cabins is that they are tucked right in the heart of the ski village at Whitefish Mountain Resort, but they are stand alone units - aka - they don't share a wall with the neighbors like most of the condos up here. While the four cabins are close to one another you feel like you have a greater sense of privacy this way. We were able to walk to the slopes, a small market, and a few restaurants. It's only a short drive down the mountain to get to Whitefish. The cabin had all the essentials we needed and we especially enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after some long days skiing.

We loved the cabin, from the view to the coziness to the fact that there was a washer & dryer there! Whitefish is such a great destination with the mountains and the park and the quaint downtown with so many really good restaurants! Thanks for the great experience!

This was a great little cabin. Nice location, easy to ski-in/ski-out. Very cozy. The only issue we had is the kitchen is not stocked very well for even basic essentials if preparing meals at home, which we did 4 nights. More mixing bowls, knives, paper plates, and gadgets would be nice to have there.

I love these black log homes. They are really nice. The space was perfect for 5. We walked right across to the skiing and there are a few restaurants you're able to eat at as well. I was glad we rented a car though so we could get into town. The other cabins are close but we never heard any noise or anything. The spa was fun for 4 of us to sit in and soak. Whitefish Skiing is such a reasonable deal. We like it better than Big Sky. SkyRun was really friendly and helpful. We had fun.

I just love Whitefish. These cabins are so perfect in every way. We had an absolutely blast. Thanks SkyRun for making our stay the very best. Hope to come back very soon!
