Mila was a fantastic hostess and could not have been more welcoming and friendly, her pre arrival communication was also excellent.
We travelled as a couple with two very well behaved golden retrievers.
Posada del Herrero is a beautiful building that has been tastefully restored to a very high standard. It was spotlessly clean and smelled really nice.
Our room was generous and we overlooked a small courtyard. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom well equipped and ultra clean.
Mila recommend a local taverna where we had lovely food and a couple of drinks. We also had a nice walk around the town.
Breakfast was more of a feast than anything else. Again, chatting with the lovely Mila made it extra special.
We will definitely return to Posada del Herrero.

I loved how friendly and personable the ladies were who ran the hotel during our stay. They were fun to talk to and very attentive to our needs. I loved the breakfasts and the chance to meet travelers from all over. The room was so comfortable and the coziness of the hotel will definitely bring us back next time we visit Madridejos! We absolutely loved it!

The hotel is located in a lovely area close to restaurants and bars, also convenient along our route on to Costa Del Sol.
The rooms are a decent size and extremely quaint and comfortable.
The owner is very pleasant and attentive and was always on hand to help.
If only the rooms had air conditioning, or even a ceiling fan they would have been perfect.
There is a small roof top pool to cool of though, so that was a bonus.

Beautifully restored and well decorated building, friendly helpful owner, near all facilities, came for saffron fiesta, would stay here again.
Difficult to find, a larger sign would be helpful. Limited parking on street but found space very close.

No one there on arrival so left having to phone the hotel and wait in the cold for staff to arrive, not a pleasant experience as hotel is situated in a back street.
Only one pillow… very small double bed.. what can only be described as a dog blanket on the bed….no tea, coffee facilities
Wet room style shower soaks the room …unpleasantly.
Only coffee served at breakfast no other hot drink was offered

Charming small hotel, perfectly maintained and clean, conveniently situated near the city center, good breakfast, everything was perfect.

The room was comfortable and tastefully furnished. The bed was lovely and big and the shower was great. The roof terrace would have been a treat in warmer times. It was very quiet and a good place to sleep. The house is beautifully refurbished and a lovely place to stay.
The breakfast room was small and crowded and it was impossible to get breakfast as a large group were occupying the space. Because of COVID we didn't want to sit amongst strangers indoors and so chose to leave without breakfast. The proprietor was very apologetic when she realised but the set up did not make us feel safe during a pandemic since it requires groups of strangers to mingle in a small indoor space.
