We had 10 family members picking up and celebrating our family's New Marine. The home was very spacious and clean, it is a well maintained property. It was a comfortable place to be with a big group.

The house was great for our group of 9 ladies. We all enjoyed the extra touches of roses and cookies for our arrival. And everything was clean and open enough for all of us to enjoy our time together. The location is great for outings of shopping, history, and nature. We would definitely recommend.

This property was perfect for our crew while we were visiting Parris Island. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The floor plan is a great layout with plenty of space and bedrooms, a nice living room area with plenty of seating, and a nice spacious kitchen. We also enjoyed the deck and grilling area. I would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms allow for extended family to all stay in the same house while providing privacy. Good location, recommend buying SC State Park Pass and visiting Hunting Island State Park.

We came for my daughter's graduation from recruit training at MCRD Parris Island. This location was about 15 minutes from base. Very easy to get to for family day and grad day. Beautiful home with plenty of space. Home has been very well cared for. There was nice music playing on Alexa and fresh flowers in the kitchen. Very nice attention to detail. My first time using any Vrbo or home rental. It was awesome. Thank you so much.

The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable for our large party. The patio furniture could be replaced or updated soon as some of the chair cushions were worn through. Check in process was very easy and host was responsive with all my questions.

We were in town for my sons Marine graduation. Only about 20 min drive to base each morning. This house was absolutely perfect! Plenty of room for everyone, beautiful kitchen, great back patio, spacious bedrooms. Highly recommend staying here!

This property was perfect for my family and extended family (one baby, one teen, 7 adults) who were in town for my son’s Marine Corps graduation. We enjoyed grilling on the rear deck and there were two ice chests we used to bring food and drinks for Family Day. Mr. Brown is a wonderful host. My wife left her Chromebook in the house by accident when we left and he kindly returned it to us by UPS. We spent most of our time on Parris Island, but enjoyed returning to the home in the evening for relaxation.

The home and location were beautiful. There was a small electrical problem in the kitchen and the owner had that taken care of by the end of the day. There were no where near enough towels for the amount of people allowed to stay there but we were able to do laundry on site. The main problem was that it is advertised as having 4 queen sized beds. There is not even one queen sized bed. They are actually full sized. That was a big problem considering we had 2 adults sleeping in each of those. The main reason we chose this home was because of the bed configuration. I saw someone say the same thing in a recent review but just thought they were mistaken. They were not. Other than that, and not being able to control the thermostat, everything else was good.

I can’t really tell you anything about the property as we never got to stay, but the higher ratings were based solely on my parties quick experience on the property. Received the door code from the property owner late afternoon. My party arrived at the property at 9:45pm there was another family already in the house, in their PJ’s, tucked in for the night. Not the best way to learn the the property had been double booked! Put our party of 12 in a horrible predicament trying to find lodging on a boot camp graduation weekend.

We loved staying at this gracious, comfortable, cozy home. We had six in our party and it was just lovely!

Check in process was super easy. Communication with owner was simple and quick. We had a family of 9 and there was plenty of room, plus some! The house and scenery were beautiful!! The property is close to necessities. We were there for our sons Marine graduation. The travel was simple and not too far. If we ever come back this way we WILL be staying here again!! Definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful home, with plenty of space for multiple people! There are 4.5 baths vs 5 (one is a toilet/sink only), but still ample showers and we ran all 4 at once after the beach without any difficulty. The kitchen is adequately set up such that we were able to prepare meals at home and limit dining out. There was a small electrical issue the second night (loss of power in the great room), but the host had an electrician there the next day by 9A and no further issues after. We were only minutes from several beaches, and an added bonus was coolers we could pack and take with us!! The area has many historical sites, which we didn't have time to delve into. Lots of shopping is available within minutes, and we found many options to entertain kids and adults alike.

This house was great! Plenty of room! The kitchen had everything we needed! We could get everywhere we needed to be in 5 to 20 minutes (State Park, waterfront park, Dockside restaurant, port royal, kazoo museum, etc.)

We had our son and daughter and their families together in this very special home to make memories. All of us thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The house was everything we could hope for.

We rented this home for us and our extended family to see our son graduate from the Marine Corps. This home was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. It was very hot outside and every time we came in the home was very cool and comfortable. The open floor plan in the main room was wonderful for a family dinner after graduation. We would highly recommend this home to anyone. It’s approximately a 20 minute drive to Parris Island and there are stores and restaurants nearby.

House was clean and well supplied for family in town for graduation ceremonies. The location was Parris Island was great.

This property worked out perfectly for our large family group. We stayed here for my son's graduation from Marine boot camp training on Parris Island. The property was less than 20 minutes from the Marine base. It is also very close to many other attractions and restaurants. Thank you again to the owner for providing a beautiful home for our stay.

What a perfect place for my family to stay for the graduation!!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay for my Marines graduation. We didn’t mind that the outdoor security cameras pointed inside the home, where window coverings weren’t available; I do question if it is legal. The house is spacious with a beautiful setting. We even saw deer on the property. The kitchen has just about all you’d need. The owner controls the thermostats, which he responds to quickly when you text him. However, when your family wakes up sweating at 3:00 am, you can’t do anything about it. The “queen” sized beds are actually FULL sized, but very comfortable. There are not five bathroom, but four and a half. But it works out very well. The primary bedroom has a private bath. The other bedrooms have a Jack and Jill bath between two bedrooms each. The bedrooms only have lamps, which do not provide enough light. One lamps light was burnt out, so I had to go to the store to replace it. The bathroom towels leave MUCH to be desired, but do the job, except in the lavatory…you’re only offered paper towels to dry your hands. A two-step step stool is needed for the primary King sized bed!!! Directions on how to work the TV would be helpful as well. Overall it is a very nice place to stay and the owner is very accommodating.

Needed a place for our family and extended family to stay together for Marine graduation. This had plenty of bedrooms for each group to have their own room and plenty of space in living room for us to gather together. The first we were there before rest of family came in the clicking noise from the plugged in bug repellers we're annoying. Didn't notice them later. There were some crumbs on the stovetop, a small open package of food in frig, a streak of something on microwave door, and the outdoor grill was pretty bad looking (we weren't told we couldn't use it but also didn't say anything about using it). These things didn't keep us from enjoying the place and having a good time. Oh...if you're average height, you may want a step stool for the king bed 😁.

It was a great place to stay for our son's Marine graduation at Parris Island. The house had LOTS of room, which was great since we had extended family with us. It's in a great location - it's not congested but still only 15 minutes from the base and 10 minutes from the local restaurants and stores. The property has been recently renovated and has a nicely-equipped kitchen and a wonderful family room/dinning room. We didn't have free time, but I would like to return sometime for a more relaxed vacation stay if we visit the area again. The house has a great deck for grilling and relaxing, for example, but we didn't have any chance to utilize it. The only two criticisms I have are extremely trivial. The house has many bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate a lot of people, but there aren't enough towels for all the bathrooms. If you have a large group, I'd suggest bringing a few extra towels with you. (The owner did have paper towels, spare toilet paper, and soap everywhere, which was very generous and appreciated!) The other issue is that the thermostat is a complicated multi-panel setup that I assume could easily be messed up, and so the panels are inaccessible to the renter. I'm a thermostat control freak and would have liked to lower the temperature at night for sleeping and raise it during the day myself to accommodate the cold-natured people in our group, but to give credit to the owner/property manager, both times I asked to have it adjusted by text message, it was happily changed within minutes of the request, and the first request was when we arrived around 11:00 pm on the first night. So, aside from having to ask, I can't complain that we couldn't get it set where we wanted. Overall it was great, and I would definitely consider staying at this property in the future.

We came to St. Helena Island for my son’s graduation from Marine boot camp. This house was perfect to accommodate my large family. The house is very clean and the fresh roses on the kitchen island were a very welcome surprise. The property owner was quick to respond to messages and was very accommodating when we needed to add an extra day on to our stay. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area!

This beautiful home is located close to grocery, restaurants, and only a 20 minute drive to MCRD PI. The property itself is well kept and secluded giving visitors a great place to gather without disturbing neighbors. The parking area is huge. The home is well lit on the exterior and security cameras reassure safety. The interior design is fantasic for multi-family visitors. The jack and Jill bathrooms, bunk room, and room living space was perfect to play games, watch TV or converse around the kitchen island. The Air conditioning units are controlled by the PM, but honesty were not an issue for us. The home cooled fast and was comfortable in August. Thank you.

The property was a great outlet for me to get together with family.

It accommodate our family. Not enough cooking items for the amount of people to cook for. The beeping of the outside doors. Everytime someone walked outside. Also the smoke detector went off when I was cooking bacon.

The Thermostat is locked and you have to call the Host to adjust the temperature every time. If you want to change it in the middle of the night there will be no response from the host. Also, a shower head in one of the baths was broken before we got there and it fell down when we turned on the shower. The host thought we broke it and charged us, I tried telling him that it was broken before we got there but there's no response from the host.

I recommend this house for vacations. It was a wonderfully comfortable home and we were all surprised that the owners were willing to open it up to strangers. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at this property. It was convenient to beaches and restaurants and very clean. The only thing was that there was no cable TV and for my family that was an issue. There was good internet so we used our ipads and that worked ok. Overall it was a good rental that I would go to again.

This lovely property was large enough for our family gathering of 15. There was enough room for the teenagers to hang out on the deck while the adults and little kids enjoyed the cool of the living room. The kitchen island is massive and added 6 extra seats for meal times. The drive to Huntington Island to go to the beach wasn't too bad, but be aware it is state park and you have to pay a user fee per person. Take a chance and enjoy the stay! We did!!

The house was lovely and spacious! And the location was great! Our host left fresh flowers which was personally a nice touch for me because I love flowers!!

This house was gorgeous! It was conveniently located to all attractions. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group of 14. The kids loved the bunk beds and each couple had their own bedrooms. The kitchen was easy to use. The house was spotless and wonderfully decorated! Our whole group loved our stay!
