Modern and super clean property in a gorgeous natural setting but far from Lake Michigan beaches. Highly recommend, hope to stay again!

The peacefulness in the location and scenery is a little bit of Wisconsin heaven. Plus a clean Lake Michigan beach only a short drive away. The house itself is beautiful, clean and supplied with all you will need. Erica is so kind and responsive. We will definitely be back.

We loved this place! The pictures don’t really do the place justice! It was clean, comfortable in every way, and had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and baths. The beds are very comfortable and more than enough for our party. The communication with the owner was TOP NOTCH- there is not one thing they missed! The neighbors next door (especially their dog, Radio) are even fantastic! The only negative was that the stay wasn't long enough!

We loved this home on the river. It is attractive, clean and comfortable. The view and access to the river is perfect. We made a fire in the fire pit each night and had s'mores with the grandchildren. We would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at the cottage. Everything was lovely. The beds are really comfy, the kitchen was well supplied with anything we needed & it was really nice to use the water toys available on-site. Our stay was fun & peaceful. Mark & Julie were wonderful hosts.

This home is absolutely beautiful! We very much enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets and the wildlife. The river views are amazing, and everything we could've thought of was provided! Mark and Julie are very gracious hosts, we were welcomed with cold bottled water, all the snacks you could want, s'mores fixings, and a bottle of wine! The beds are very comfortable and the cabin is very well taken care of, we truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Mark and Julie!

This is an excellent property. Highly recommend this top quality house. The owners are friendly and responsive. The area has plenty for nature lovers, including this property. If we make it back to this area, we will definately try to get this house again!

The property owner was very nice and accommodating. The place was beautiful and had amazing wildlife views. We all loved the 3 season room with incredible views of the river and the wildlife. I know we saw geese, ducks, egrets, blue herons and eagles. It's definitely the best place we have stayed in and hopefully we will get to visit again next year.

I wasn’t planning on going anywhere for my birthday but my friends talked me into it. There is lots of great places to look at on this site but Julie and her home are above the rest! She provided so many amenities where we literally only needed our cloths and beverages! The home is cozy and the view of the backyard is second to none! It rained most of the nights but that didn’t matter, the home had games to play and a 4 seasons room in the backyard to relax and hang out in! What an incredible time and we are definitely going to be back! Thank you so much Julie and Mark!

The only reason I didn’t rate this a 5 star was the lack of a dishwasher coupled with a limited supply of dishes. Also the water pressure at the sink and long time frame to get hot water at the kitchen sink added to the inconvenience. I would stay here again but I would bring stuff to negate the inconvenience. We did end up doing that after the first couple of days.

We had a fantastic experience at Waterfront Haven. Even before we left, our kids (teen and adults) were asking to come back. We had absolutely everything we needed from the time we arrived until the morning we left. Julie and Mark have a very special place on the West Twin river. The communication prior to our arrival was exceptional and the snacks and wine that were there to greet us was a wonderful welcome. The house was very comfortable, cozy, and immaculate. We used the kayaks, had fires, rode our bikes to the awesome lakefront trails, and visited both Manitowoc and Two Rivers. We will definitely book Waterfront Haven again!

We have rented many other waterfront properties in the Midwest and this is by far the best vacation home we have stayed in. The spacious house itself has high end features and easily accommodated our multi-generational family. The provision of watercraft (canoe, kayaks, and paddle board) and bikes was a bonus. We also enjoyed the setting on the River and being able to watch the birds and deer. Mark and Julie are very gracious hosts anticipating all of our needs. We enjoyed Waterfront Haven so much that we want to return. Susan

It had absolutely everything that we needed and our family had a great vacation . The hosts will absolutely been over backwards to make sure you’re having a good time. We went canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was my daughter‘s first experience paddle boarding and she did pretty good! Enjoyed a nice fire and when it rained we simply relaxed in the cottage. This was our first experience with a VBRO and I do believe it was a trip we will never forget!

Located on the river down a quiet road, the property has many amenities that are not listed. The check in process was easy, the hosts very attentive, and the property provides easy access to many of the areas activities. There are kayaks, a canoe and more for exploring the river. The three season room is an added bonus that provides a relaxing outdoor area.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. We were greeted by Mark and Julie, who are some of the nicest people on this planet. Courteous, attentive and catered to all our needs. The home is incredibly cozy, with an incredible view in the back. We would come back here again anytime!

Julie is the epitome of an attentive host. She specialized our honeymoon experience for us. The saying hostess with the mostest defines her. The actual property makes you feel at home on the river immediately! We wished we had another week to enjoy this oasis on the river. Thank you Julie for going above and beyond to make our honeymoon special!

Julie and Mark have built the most amazing retreat home for families to enjoy. We wanted a get away from all the craziness back home and that is exactly what we found. Every little thing was taken care of and anticipated. We loved the breathtaking sunsets at night, the beautiful beach at Lake Michigan and just recharging our batteries. Thank you both for a fantastic getaway. It was the best sleep I’ve had in a decade and everything was so incredibly decorated I didn’t want to leave. My biggest complaint is I liked it so much now I want to redo my whole house. That’s a lot of work and then I’ll need another vacation lol. But really, the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed at and we have stayed across the world in some beautiful places. Thank you again for allowing us to enjoy your little slice of heaven. Highly recommend!

Julie and Mark, Thanks for everything! The house was immaculate and really comfortable. You obviously put a lot of thought into every detail and it really makes the difference! Definitely a plus that it was on the river and we were able to dock our boat during our stay. We even ended up catching a few nice fish right down the river! We would highly recommend to any of our friend and family!
