Such an ideal location, great house, so well furnished. We were 10 and all had an amazing stay. The outdoor living - the screened porch/outdoor shower/firepit/grass area… - was where we spent most of our time, and the short walk to the beach was pleasant. Amy was fast to respond and very helpful. Strongly recommend and would go back!

The house is great! Great location and wonderful amenities! Everything you need is there waiting for you - from baby gear to paper products, and all the kitchen appliances/dishes/glasses… even a blender! We all enjoyed our week so much!

Our time at York Beach was excellent, due primarily to our stay here. I was surprised how spacious the house is, as it seemed smaller in the photos! It is pretty close to the beach (I would say less than a 10 minute walk) and is so private and quiet, which was awesome. The screened porch was a highlight, as was the air conditioning, which many houses at York Beach don’t have. Any amenities that we would want or need were included, which made the trip much easier. To demonstrate how great the owners of the house are, they gave us a discount because the landscapers showed up to do some extensive work while we were there, which wasn’t supposed to occur until the following week. It wasn’t much of a bother to us but the fact that they proactively reached out to us to both (unnecessarily) apologize and provide a discount demonstrates how much they want their guests to enjoy their stay. All in all, a great experience and we would absolutely recommend staying here.

This house was a great location for a weeklong getaway to the beach! We stayed with our kiddos and the house was perfect. The kid stuff that was available made traveling with littles a breeze and I was so thankful for that! The walk to the beach was great and my kids loved getting to walk to get ice cream and to Long Sands General Store for breakfast sandwiches.
The outdoor shower stole the show! So perfect after a day at the beach!
Amy was so great to work with and was so responsive when I had questions during our trip.
My kids are already talking about next year!

Been going to York since I was a kid and been in a variety of places. Tried Kevin and Amy's and it was a great fit. Short walk to the beach and town make it perfectly situated for families. Very highly recommended!!

Great house Great vacation
This house was perfect for our group and made for a great vacation. Very clean and comfortable especially the beds. The kids ages 2-7 had a variety of toys especially the sand toys and the beach cart made getting to the beach easy. The walk was short and the kids loved the wagon. We are looking forward to next year!

GREAT VACATION HOME!
We have rented many homes, and we loved that this rental provided all our essentials coffee filters, toilet paper, soap in the restrooms and kitchen, and garbage bags, to name a few, were there and waiting for us, so we could immediately go the beach. This was so thoughtful of them. We also loved the little touches of the fire pit with wood, toys for our grandson, and the outdoor shower! It was glorious!

Great for young kids
This house was great for our stay with two young kids. The house was very clean and both beaches were easily walkable for the kids. We took advantage of the wagon, beach cart, toys and chairs on our trips to the beach, as well as the private outdoor shower afterwards. There were also plenty of toys and books for the kids to play with when the weather wasn’t great. There was a minor hiccup with the door lock when we arrived, but the host was super responsive and fixed the issue immediately.

I can’t say enough great things about this house, we had a great time during our stay. It’s a very short distance walk to long sands beach and to downtown/short sands. It’s also located on a road that you can avoid the traffic on long sands. The house was clean and the owners supplied a lot of household items to help make our vacation easier. I contacted the owner prior to checking in and she was very responsive, they also supplied a quick summary PDF that was helpful. We liked the house so much we’re coming back next year! You won’t be disappointed if you book this house!

I can’t say enough great things about this house, we had a great time during our stay. It’s a very short distance walk to long sands beach and to downtown/short sands. It’s also located on a road that you can avoid the traffic on long sands. The house was clean and the owners supplied a lot of household items to help make our vacation easier. Hated to Leave
As families grow older it is more difficult to get everyone under the same roof at the same time. This property was PERFECT for our family get away. The living spaces were spacious and comfortable. The family was able to all eat together at the same table and I think our favorite place for a quiet more coffee or a late night beverage and board game had to be the screened in porch. On the last night we had a fire in the fire pit. It was the perfect way to end a beautiful week.
The location of the property is PRIME. We are a Long Sands Beach family as we love cornhole or bocci at low tide. That said, the house is very close to town and shopping and Short Sands Beach. Staying here gave us the best of all things York.
The owner was a pleasure to work with. She responded quickly to any question and left a house fully equipt with everything we needed.
I would not hesitate to book here again and would recommend this property.
