Lovely place to stay - my husband and I were taking a short trip up the coast and loved staying here, quiet, quaint and the town was wonderful, some very nice restaurants.

Great location for a little retreat to the redwoods.

This place was amazing! It was quiet and serene. I love the Redwoods and I loved that every window you looked out had trees. The shower had great hot water (a must for me). Very clean. The kitchen was plenty for me and my daughter. Trinidad Beach and Moonstone Beach were less than 10 minutes down the road (great beaches). It also was great to do a couple loads of laundry while here. I will definitely stay here again!

This place was wonderful! The house was so clean and well setup with all the things we needed. Checking in and out was seamless and our stay was so quiet and peaceful. Such a wonder place to stay and recharge.

Modern amenities in a picture perfect setting. So conveniently located between the northern redwood parks and the avenue of the giants to the south. Plus, within blocks of the beautiful Arcata Community Forest. Perfect for those who prefer more of a hotel vs tent/camping experience.

This beautiful cottage was our home base for our Redwood adventures & it could not have been more perfect! It was stocked with everything we needed and it was nestled in its own redwood forest so we were able to enjoy the serenity of the magnificent trees our entire stay whether we were out exploring the area close to Arcata or we were back from a busy day traveling and hiking. The location is so convenient to the Redwood National Forest and all that it has to offer as well as charming smaller communities around Arcata (Trinidad and Ferndale were two of our favorites). Thank you for sharing this special place with us.

What an amazing fairytale cottage. So private. Completely surrounded by trees. Was even better than the pictures made it out to be. Perfect place to relax and breathe.

The home was so well done for the size and had all of the basic amenities the two of us needed. Just as described and what the pictures show. The outside area was so beautiful, private and serene - couldn’t have asked for a better location. The bed is nice and big, but is extremely hard for our taste and both of us woke up quite sore each morning. Could use a pillow top for sure. Overall was a beautiful and perfect retreat for the two of us on our anniversary.

Loved the cottage! Great location, convenient to most everything. Loved how secluded we felt, but how close everything was. The cottage itself was beautiful and so comfortable. If I had an issue, it was there were no wine glasses but that's just a personal preference. Bedcwas very comfortable and the property, inside and out, was so pretty.

I enjoyed a fantastic stay at this beautiful and well-appointed studio. It is perfect for a single traveler or a couple. Every window has a view of the beautiful green forest that surrounds the property. Upon arrival, everything was clean and fully stocked - from the efficient kitchen to the lovely shower. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and not far from restaurants, shopping, and downtown Arcata. Wonderful place to stay!

Upscale, thoughtfully organized, convenient, quiet and picturesque

This cottage studio was perfect for a cozy weekend in the redwoods. The process was smooth and the home was exactly what we needed, the right size with amenities to cook at home and cozy up, while serving as a centrally located home-base for exploring Eureka and further up north in Redwoods National & State Parks. We will absolutely be return, and soon!

We’ll appointed large stand alone studio. Beautiful setting in Redwood grove. Very private. We’ll appointed, surprise mini dishwasher, Only 5 min. drive to the Arcata Plaza or HSU. Highly recommended.

the loft was neat and cozy. i really appreciated the little back year area where my daughter and I sat down to have lunch one day. we really enjoyed the stay and would definately come back . its a place for two people.

It's a lovely space, cozy with great light, in a beautiful setting with comfortable and nice amenities. By car it's not too far out of town, but because of the steep hills and distance it's not great for walking.

This was an amazing place to stay. Surrounded by redwoods, silent other than the sounds of mist condensing and dripping off the leaves, and still conveniently located near 101 and downtown Arcata. Our only complaint was that the bed was not very comfortable. (Both of us woke up sore more than once in our week-long stay) The sheets were flat and not fitted, so required constant maintenance and bunched in the night. The mattress was very firm, and would REALLY benefit from a memory foam topper, if not a total replacement. We hope those two points will be addressed by the owner (We tried contacting them through the rental agency, with no luck), as we would LOVE to stay there again, but are reluctant to do so if the sleeping isn't as amazing as the rest of the place. Hopefully they see this review, and let people (including us!) know that they're fixing those two things.
