Karl, my family and I had an amazing time celebrating my husband 50th birthday. The home was very clean and the home looked just like the pictures on-line. We absolutely enjoyed a relaxing and memorable stay at your home. We sure will be back soon! 😊

The layout of the house was perfect for our family. We had had both in-laws stay and it gave enough room for each of their personalities. The local was great, with local bars, restaurants and entertainment for when couples wanted to get out and most importantly, we loved getting to the beach just outside our door!!

We had a wonderful time. The house was wonderful, clean and comfortable. We loved the location and being right on the beach! The owner was very helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend.

Fabulous beach house, ocean-front and 2 great deck spaces. Open kitchen, dining and living room great space for being together! Love the décor, upgrades and comforts of home. Adirondack chairs on the deck were so nice to sit, have coffee and watch the sunrise. Karl was a great host, welcomed us, great tips and was available if we had questions. We had a lovely stay and look forward to returning again!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Paradise Sands. We were a group of 13 people and everything was great! The beds were comfortable and the house is updated nicely. The location was perfect and very close to the pier. Looking out the dining room window at the ocean made me feel like I was on a cruise. Can’t wait to come back again!

Very many years I've been coming to Garden City Beach and I must say, Paradise Sands is the absolute best house I have ever rented on the beach! Most houses that I've rented in the past were old and outdated. This house was recently remodeled and has an amazing feel to it. The furniture, bathrooms and flooring are all new. The views off of the back decks are breathtaking. I made sure to get up every morning to watch the sunrise and even saw pods of dolphins swimming by more than once! The kitchen was well stocked and the host Karl was incredible! I mentioned that I forgot a few cooking items and he had it brought to me without me even asking him! Thanks Karl!! I would give this house a 10 star review but unfortunately VRBO only allows a 5 star max. I will definitely be back!

I will start with the positive saying Karl the owner was great! Immediately responsive to all my texts, but the house was not what i had expected for the money. I booked primarily because of a previous review that said the kitchen was well stocked to prepare thanksgiving meal for 8 people…well, I don’t know what they were cooking with! There was 1 pot holder, no broiler pan, no ice maker and only 3 ice trays with no bucket to hold ice in order to refill trays. We made a Walmart run to buy kitchen supplies that were lacking. The knobs on the vent over the stove were broken and the owner had to send his cleaner with some pliers for us to be able to turn the knobs in order to use the light and the vent. We had to buy solo cups in order to have enough glassware, lots of coffee cups, but not enough glasses. there was a cheap, plastic Mr Coffee 12 cup coffee maker. It did the job but a keireg or something a little nicer was expected for the price of the listing. There were 8 adults in our group and the house was small for that amount of people. We are all family so it was OK, but the sitting area was smaller than it looked online and not enough seating, The dining table was great for 8…square table so we gathered at table to talk and play games, etc. there were no games or puzzles at house, only a deck of cards, some ping pong balls and poker chips. The listing says there is a charcoal grill….thats a joke! It’s a small uncovered stand up grill like you find at a state park that might hold 4 burgers. It was dirty and peeling. 4 bedrooms are upstairs. The bathrooms were newly renovated and nice. there was 1 bathroom for 3 of the bedrooms and an en suite for the master. There was another full bathroom downstairs off the main living area. A small office/bedroom directly off kitchen. The main deck off living area had 4 Adirondack chairs and a bench. They had put a few beach chairs on the lower deck for us to use and a can jam game which was nice. All in all the house was pretty stripped down. No extra blankets or pillows in bedrooms or throws to use on sofas and barely equipped kitchen. The location is very convenient. At high tide the waves are right at the base of the stairs to beach, at low tide its a wonderful wide flat beach. Nice close walk to the pier and 2 1/2 mile walk the other way to sea wall. There was a broom and whisk but a vacuum would’ve been nice to keep the sand at bay on the inside floors. We won’t book again.

Beach house was awesome, clean, well maintained. Host Karl was the best! We will be back!

When we arrived, we just accessed the property per the instructions we received in advance, and that was it. Very convenient to restaurants and shops and the property manager was friendly and available for anything we needed. There are several balconies where you can just sit and enjoy a gorgeous view of the beach, and floats and chairs if you want to spend the day out there. I would absolutely recommend this property!

We have stayed in Murrell Inlet many times. This is one of our favorite homes. They provided beach chairs and towels as well as all the basics. Karl is very responsive about every issue. He fixed a clogged drain while we were at diner. For just going through a hurricane the house was in good condition and we look forward to coming back.

The property was perfect for our large family. Being on the beach was the best part. The house was exactly as the listing and Karl was so wonderful in making sure we had all that we needed. Highly recommend this property.

Karl was a great host. When I say they have everything, I mean it! I’ve booked places that tell you they have stuff but then you get there and they don’t. They have beach towels and chairs. Everything to cook with even some spices. A cooler if you need one to keep beverages while at the beach, towels, etc. This house is located in a more residential area, but is 1/4 of a mile from shops and the pier. Bring your persons, clothes, food and enjoy a very relaxing stay at the beach!! I do want to add that their was fireworks set off every night aug 3-8. 44Just a small disclousre for anyone that has PTSD.

A perfect location for a family reunion. The house was very nice and exactly what we needed. Everything we needed was provided. And only steps from the beach. We will definitely be back again.

Great house for kids and adults right on the beach with easy beach access. Perfect for our group of 6 kids (6 through 12) and 6 adults. Nicely maintained and furnished, with plenty of TVs. Walking distance to Garden City pier, shops, and attractions. Owner was extremely responsive and helpful during our stay.

This property is very close to the water’s edge and beautiful sunrises greet you every morning. We were overall thankful for the time away with our family. A good bit of cleaning was needed upon arrival. Drawers, beds and floors were sandy. All though the manager jumped on our requests quickly, we still needed to clean up sand before we could settle in. There was a lot of after hour noise on the beach each day of the week including fireworks which kept us awake. This property may be better suited for young party goers instead of families.

Easy to rent with no hassles!

If you want a nice beach house on the sand that can accommodate 6 adults, this is a good option. Recently updated with new, clean, functional, though un-fancy finishes, the house permits comfortable enjoyment of the fabulous stretch of beach. Walk off the back deck onto the sand! Awesome! About 1/2 mile walk to pier, so you are away from its busy-ness. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Great deck and deck chairs. Beach chairs and umbrellas were on their last legs. A/c, wi-fi, appliances, laundry all worked perfectly. Owner responsive and pleasant. We liked it enough to consider returning. Family area for watching TV accommodates 6 adults well, but not enough room / furniture to accomodate more comfortably.

This home was perfect for our stay. The listing was accurate and the location was amazing. Being able to walk right out on the beach or sit and enjoy the oceanfront view from the deck was fantastic and enjoyed by all in our group. We experienced an issue with the AC unit during our stay, but Karl worked diligently to get it resolved as quickly as he could. He was very attentive to us during our stay and provided immediate responses to our questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this property for your next visit!

Spent 4 nights here. Property was recently renovated and very clean. Beach is wonderful and wide. Owner / manager checked in several times but did not over communicate. Overall this may have been my easiest and best Vrbo experience!!!!

We have been to Garden City 3 times now. The first two times we stayed in high rise buildings, although nice, not near as convenient as this beautiful property. It has everything you need, and you are right on the beach. Absolutely beautiful home! I can't wait to stay here again!

The house is beautiful. It's obvious that the owner takes pride in providing his guests a high quality experience. The house is well appointed and the kitchen is so well equipped that preparing and serving Thanksgiving dinner for nine was a breeze. Equally impressive is the location: situated on the quieter end of the beach, yet within walking distance of restaurants and just a short ride from the commercial section of Myrtle Beach. Just steps from the ocean and what a magnificent view of the sunrise!

Amazing location and absolutely incredible views of beautiful sunrises every morning of our visit. The house was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. The location right on the beach is fantastic. We had just the relaxing vacation that we needed.

Could not have asked for a better house to spend our summer vacation in!! I have stayed in a few houses on the beach in and around Murrells Inlet and this place is without a doubt the best ever! The house was clean and organized! There were plenty of towels, wash clothes, and kitchen items! The house is 150 feet from the beach and a quick walk to the pier and shops. I think what made the house even better was the property manager Karl. Every time I had a question or concern he would answer within an hour. He checked up on us during I stay to make sure everything was going okay. I will definitely be staying in the house again. I can’t thank of any other place my family would want to stay.
