Great place to have a beach vacation Unit was clean and well organized. Check in and check out process was very easy and convenient.

Have stayed here twice. Condo is great and can’t beat location and view. One thing…items in condo are sparse…no salt/pepper, coffee filters, etc. Also only 1 wine glass, which is fine if only one person drinks wine lol. These are just a few small things that don’t really affect the stay, just would be nice if they were provided. Btw, beach chairs are included.

We didn't get a sparkling clean, luxury-level stay (which is what the price would indicate). The fridge in the unit wasn't working and no one told us, so we brought five days' worth of groceries that didn't fit in the mini fridge that had been left for us. We didn't have enough ice for our cooler or for cold drinks the entire stay. Management wasted the first two days not getting back to us on a repair or an additional fridge, which never happened anyway. We had to go out every day of our vacation to buy food and ice. The unit had bugs in the kitchen and bathroom, rusty rickety trim on the deck outside, an ancient and uncomfortable mattress, and everything was in crummy condition. We did receive a small refund, which wasn't nearly enough to make up for our disappointment.

two preliminaries... my wife and I have stayed in Destin before but have never stayed in 30A... I don't usually write detailed reviews like this but felt I needed to here... the good - the property's location can't be beat...oceanfront, private beach, great ocean view from back deck (although to be honest this would likely be true for many properties along 30A) the bad - promised WiFi sporadic at best, mostly non-existent...constant rebooting of modem (often failed)...dropped calls/missed calls and texts...TV often didn't work ...non-WiFi internet non-existent (possibly due to ocean?) so WiFi extremely important...other renters encountered same issue...responses to other reviews blame provider...doubtful, most likely cable or wiring needs replacement the ugly - property management...took two days to respond to WiFi complaint...said they would "come and look"...someone "came and looked" at modem, did nothing and left...no further response...back deck sliding door impossible for my wife to open and hard for me...was asked if I removed safety bar (seriously?)...no further response...never reported other minor issues...what was the point? would recommend for location...unit was nice...I suspect there are other properties in the area that would offer the same thing for the money (or less)

Full ocean views from the kitchen, living room and porch. Quiet complex in a good location. 2nd time staying in Mistral—will be back!

Absolutely incredible view of the gulf !!! But unit is small and dated. My wife slept in the hall bunk bed after the first night because the master bed was so uncomfortable. Bedroom closet was full of stuff so could only hang a few things. No place in bedroom for your clothes. Sliding glass door is quite difficult to open/close. We were celebrating our anniversary but there was only one wine glass. But the view of the gulf was fabulous!!!

Much needed rest and vacation. The condo was the right size and amenities for the two of us!

My husband and two kids had a great time at Mistral. This was our second visit and we plan to visit again. The views are amazing. The unit was clean and we met some great families. Highly recommended!

Each time I stay it is a pleasant experience. Because of covid, and the fact that florida did not have any mandates and was “100%” open I didn’t feel safe staying too close to seaside. Luckily, the mistral condominiums was a little further off the beaten path but still very convenient to the grocery store and restaurants proving takeout services. The view from the 2nd floor was amazing, unfortunately while we were there a pipe broke In the building, and so we were without water for a half day (we didn’t know why we didn’t have water) but they were quick to respond and fix it and we were able to flush again and shower that evening. It’s always been an extreme pleasure to stay at these rentals, and everyone is so respectful and easy going. One thing would recommend bringing garbage bags, they only supplied one and so that was a pain to have to buy yet another item, it’s pretty basic and I would have expected there to be at least a few? I’m pretty used to having to buy / bring everything down to the toilet paper at these rentals, so if I visit again next year I guess I’ll add standard garbage bags to the list. Everything worked well although we couldn’t find the blender top, so were unable to make smoothies, but not the end of the world. Also the screen door rubber was off so it made opening it pretty much impossible, but we just ended up not using it. Overall not big issues, and the view is so spectacular!

Got this place for some girlfriends and I to spend Memorial Day weekend and it was great. This is the fourth time I’ve stayed a a Mistral Condo and it was fantastic as expected. Ideal location and so easy to just walk on the beach. Love coming to Mistral!

The rental is nicely decorated, however, could use some updates including the mattress. We didn't feel this unit was as clean as the many other units we have stayed in with Benchmark, there were cobbwebs and spiders in bathroom which felt might be an oversight from cleaning crew. Unfortunately our first couple of days at the beach were overtaken by a large crowd from the public beach access and we ended up packing up early each day to head in. Overall it was okay. We would not stay in this particular unit again due to privacy, the bed and some updates that need to take place.

Ceiling leaking above toilet in bathroom. Benchmark responded to call immediately on Easter Sunday and sent a plumber to fix the problem. Lived with a section of ceiling exposed for the week (necessary evil). Water knocked out a different time that week by a worker fixing deck. 5 hours that afternoon/evening with no water was annoying, but things happen. All and all not our favorite trip, but we love Mistral and its location. Views can't be beat.

Location, price point and amenities met our needs exactly. Unit was clean, well equipped and convenient to everything we needed. Needed a change of scenery during Covid times and we were not disappointed. Spent most of the week on the beach or on the balcony. Feeling well rested and ready for 2021. Would definitely rent again!
