My wife and I had an amazing time at the cottage. Everything was very clean, and the hot tub was so relaxing after a day on the mountain

We had a wonderful time staying at here while snowboarding at Whiteface. The ski lodge is about a 6 min. We loved the outdoor hot tub and the host was very responsive. The only negative was that the bed had no support and sagged so much that my partner and I slept poorly every night.

Our stay at the cottage was great! Property was very clean and organized and the owner was very helpful/attentive. Decent location, close to Lake Placid and White Face. We loved using the hot tub and the fact that we were able to bring our dog!

I can’t say enough great things about this property and the owners! It’s the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Everything was very convenient and fully stocked! 5 minutes from Whiteface Mountain and a great pizza place down the road. My husband and I highly recommend this property! Great place to bring your fur babies!

Great location to WhiteFace Mtn and High Falls Gorge!

We had a wonderful weekend away at this property! We brought our two young girls, 9 months and almost 3, along with our dog. All of us were able to relax and feel comfortable while being able to enjoy the area. Bill was very easy to communicate with, responding promptly and helping in any way while also giving the space needed to just feel at home. The hot tub was so wonderful, and the entire place was very clean. Pictures didn’t do it justice. I’d go back again just to enjoy the DELICIOUS tap water! My husband and I keep talking about it and are so sad each of our water bottles is gone- ha! Thanks for a great long weekend away!

This is a great little property near enough to Lake Placid, but not too close. Wonderful setting... very clean and new. We loved the hot tub after days of hiking and the whole experience was relaxing. Bill was great to communicate with, kept us up to date and informed of everything. Will be back!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cute little cottage with all the amenities and convenience needed to make a birthday ski weekend a success. From the proximity to whiteface ski mountain and lake placid, to the outdoor hot tub and spectacular bird watching, I left hoping we’d return one day. The host was great in keeping in touch and making sure he was available for anything we needed. The check in and check out process was seamless. Highly recommended for a family of 4!

We had a great time! So close to Whiteface :) House was clean & well stocked, comfy beds, cozy fireplace, AND a hot tub!! Host was responsive and a pleasure to speak with. We would definitely stay here again!

The property had a well-stocked kitchen as well as all of the nice touches around (e.g. comfy furniture, sufficient bedding and bathroom supplies, hot tub) that made for a terrific stay.

This house is better than the pictures. Very clean and everything that you could need. Owners were very helpful and checked in to make sure everything was good. We couldn’t recommend this place more.

This is the second time we have stayed at this home. It is a great place for a romantic getaway ! The home is clean and has everything needed for a a getaway. The fire place made for a cozy place. The hot tub is vey private and on the deck. There is a propane fire pit but did not take advantage of it. We stayed 3 nights. The first full day there, was snowy and cold. He manged to do some hiking. The next two days we in the 40's. The house is abiut 11 miles from Lake Placid. There are many trails to hike in the Wilmington, Keene, and Lake Placid area. The only negative in renting when we do, is that many of the local resturants are closed until after Thanksgiving. Our favorite is the the Hungry Trout. We bring plenty of snacks, some prepared meals and plentyof wine ahead of time. Overall, you cannot go wrong renting this home. WE WILL BE BACK!

Very well thought out design and amenities, Perfect getaway with everything you could need for a pleasant comfortable stay while visiting the area. Top of my favorites list for vacation rental properties. We will definitely book again !

Bill’s place was perfect, It’s cozy and has everything you need for a great stay, don’t know how they think of every little detail but they do. The location is great but beware that if you are a t-mobile user, there’s no cellphone reception around the area, so male sure to load maps and everything ahead of time, the wifi in the cottage was perfect though, so you’re set.

We just came back from staying in this very clean, well-appointed cottage. It was an easy drive to everywhere we wanted to go. We appreciated the hot tub after hiking during the day & the fireplace & fire pit to relax with at night. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area in the future.

The Cottage is very well done and tasteful. The area is quiet in a quaint little town. Everything you could possibly need is here. Just needed to pack clothes and food. Location was close to hiking and a short drive to Lake Placid. Hot tub was nice after a long day of hiking. The host was very responsive even prior to our stay. Thank you and we look forward to staying again.

Everything was just perfect with this rental—House, location, owner, amenities. The two of us, and the dog, had a wonderful time. We hiked and biked then enjoyed the deck, hot tub, outdoor shower, and fire pit. The owner was great to work with and even checked in via email to make sure all was going well. Would highly recommend this rental as we will look to return.

The house was perfect. The hosts were wonderful. Can't wait to stay again next summer.

Perfect place to stay while we were in town.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. It was very clean and it was the perfect size. The bedroom was large and had plenty of closet space (it was so nice to actually have space to put things). My husband and I had never visited the Adirondacks before and we were mostly interested in hiking. We were busy every day and never had much of a far drive to find something to do, which we were so happy about. It was wonderful to get back from hiking, use the outdoor shower then jump in the hot tub! Bill and Paula were quick to reply. Also — we always appreciate places that are dog friendly! We were so pleased and highly recommend it!

The house was absolutely wonderful and well kept. It was very nicely decorated and close to the town. Wilmington is a very nice town with plenty of scenic areas and restaurants.

Well appointed with every detail thought through. Extremely clean and well kept. We had everything we needed. Great location close to attractions and many hiking trails. Nice town center with good choices for food. Hot tub was a nice welcome treat!

This property was the perfect location for our adk getaway! Close to Lake Placid and great hiking spots. Coming back to relax in the hot tub was a wonderul ending to our days after hiking. It was everything we expected and more! Very clean and cozy, the home had everything we needed for our stay. Bill was an excellent host and was great at communicating when we had questions or to let us know about local construction. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Bill & Paula’s place. It was very cozy (especially the fireplace!), clean, and just a 5 minute drive from great skiing at Whiteface. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking and communication with Bill & Paula was excellent. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at Bill’s place. The home is small, but has everything you could need. Beds were comfortable, house was spotless and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved using the hot tub and enjoyed how quiet and private the yard was, even with being on a somewhat busy road. The owner is very attentive and goes out of his way to touch base and make sure your stay is comfortable. I would definitely recommend this home and hope we get the chance to stay again.

This was the perfect home base for our ski vacation. The house was meticulously clean and thoughtfully stocked. Just a five minute drive from Whiteface, we looked forward to coming back to the house to relax in the hot tub and in front of the fire. We are looking forward to a return trip.

Totally enjoyed our stay at Bill and Paula’s home. The house was even better than the pictures showed. Had a fire going everyday which there was a ample amount of firewood ready and waiting. After a long day of snowshoeing or skiing we would use the hot tub on the back deck. Highly recommend this cozy house.

Beautiful, clean and ideally located. This home is perfect for a couples getaway or for a small family. This home has everything you need for a quiet retreat. We are already planning our trip back in the Spring.

My wife and I stayed at the house the weekend (4 nights) before Thanksgiving. The house was a cute, cozy and comfortable home. Great for a couples get away. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. There was plenty of firewood for the fireplace. We did not use the fire pit but wood was available. There were plenty of spices and cooking supplies available. Since our stay was during Covid and in between seasons (fall and skiing) some restaurants were not opened in Wilmington so we planned to eat two dinners at home and one in Lake Placid. There are plenty of trails to hike and Lake Placid is close enough to visit and eat. The best part of the house was the hot tub after a day of hiking and then being able sit by the fire place with a bottle of wine. The hot tub is very private. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The bath room is spacious as well. The owner was easy contact for questions before and during our stay. I highly recommend renting those house. We plan on returning.

Bill and Paula are WONDERFUL hosts, communication was easy and we absolutely loved the cabin. The gift was so thoughtful XO. We spent A LOT of time in the hot tub and the dogs enjoyed laying in front of the fireplace in the livingroom. We hope to have the opportunity to come enjoy a second stay in the future
