Although this home is beautiful, our week was very taxing. There is a rather steep pitch to the driveway,and not having access to the garage made it necessary to park our vehicles on the sidewalk while loading or unloading everything. The winding staircases also made it very difficult carrying luggage,laundry, groceries etc. My family members were between 70-81 years old, and we all left our vacation exhausted. I must say that the host was very responsive when any issues arose. There was plenty of space in the open concept kitchen,dining and living room. We all enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine of the rear deck,and the beaches of Destin are beautiful! But, unless you have a few people with youth on their side, and no physical limitations this rental is not for you.

2nd year we've stayed in this beautiful house. Open kitchen & living area makes it easy to come together & prepare meals, also grilling out back & playing cornhole. Bedrooms are laid out to fit large family with even in law or teenager apt separate from main house. Love the bunkroom area fit 3 boys nicely age 7- 13. Lg bathrooms, laundry area also.

This house was true to the VRBO listing. Located a few steps from the beach, sleeping arrangements and other aspects of the house were accurate and very comfortable for our family of 11. One minor adjustment to description would help set expectations for renters - the downstairs apartment has no internal access to the rest of the house. Otherwise, wonderful property for a great week at the beach!

Destin to Be is a wonderful home for a large family vacation. Great location within walking distance to the beautiful white sand beaches. Will definitely consider renting from Cecilia again in the future!

Accuracy of the home was perfect! Everything that we needed was ready and available! Down stairs unit perfect as well! Plenty of room for a complete family including grandparents and children. Super easy walk to the beach and pool.

Everything was a described. Only wished we had access to the apartment from inside the house instead of having to walk around outside.

Very clean large home. Big enough for your family vacation. Only few min walk to the beach. Owner is very responsive to messages. Would definitely stay again when we visit this area

My family of nine enjoyed our stay. It was plenty of room for the grandkids to play because it was cold outside. Communication with property manager was great. Will definitely stay again.

As with most everything, location is everything. This unit is located just a short block from the beach. Easy to walk to, easy to walk back if you forget something or run out of drinks. Even better is that this unit is located some distance from the city center, so you are out of the high traffic area. The unit is well set up. Yes, there are stairs, however that was no big deal to our group. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, the kitchen was very well set up, the living room had ample of room for our group of 9. All in all, this is a very nice place to stay. Bring your family and or friends and plenty of sunscreen. Enjoy!

Perfect location and beautiful house. Just a lot of steps up and down. 34 up to the master bedroom to be exact.

This was our first family vacation with our 4 kiddos and it was absolutely perfect. The home was great for our needs and the walk to the beach was easy. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well with the basic necessities. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of pillows to pick from. We are so glad we chose this place and would certainly stay again!

The battery went out on the keypad, so we had to have somebody come let us in. Not the owners fault but it did mess up the check in. They got somebody out within a couple hours to fix it.

We had an amazing time! The Owner is amazing very sweet and quick to respond. The House is Beautiful pictures do not do it justice. Beds are much bigger in person than the look in pics as well Location of the house is great as well minutes away from anything you could want! The pool was great as well Everything about this place was amazing we had an amazing time and will definitely use them again in the future!

My husband and I booked the house for our extended family, kids, spouses and grandkids. We had 10 adults and 4 children. The house and apartment was plenty of room for us all. Little disappointed in the bunk beds. The top bed was not at a comfortable height to sleep in. Too close to the ceiling. The proximity to the pool and beach were perfect. We enjoyed the pickle ball, corn hole boards, volley ball. The house had most everything we needed. Odd there were no kitchen towels/rags. Hard to come up with many negatives. Over all it was wonderful. Would stay again if we get the opportunity.

This is a beautiful home and checked all of the boxes for our family vacation. It was an easy walk to the beach and pool. We had a wonderful time

Perfect setting for a large group, 13 in ours...spacious living area and beds galore! Location central to all activities in Destin; and a short walk to the private entry beach. Hosts were attentive to a couple of requests during our stay; and a community pool was available across the street. W&D available in apt and main home and gas grill ready for a cookout!. Perhaps one drawback might be lots of steps between the floors...but hey, it's exercise! Price/Value was one of the best seen in the Destin area. Definitely a keeper!

Our entire party was in love with the property as soon as we saw it! The inside is fantastic and offers a clean and spacious sanctuary. The house offers almost everything you can think of, we actually packed more than we needed to. The downstairs "apartment" was perfect for the in-laws. I found the terrace off of the dining area very peaceful. The location was perfect for us. There are several restaurants within walking distance and anything you could possibly need is minutes away by car. Most importantly, the beach is practically right across the street. We have 4 children aged 5-11 and they loved every minute of it. Thank you for the best summer vacation we have had in years!

The home and neighborhood was truly breathtaking, such an amazing community. The home is seriously a dream, it was very clean, well equipped, super spacious, and offered amazing home comfort of furniture. My family, friends, and I were all looking forward to this get away and coming to this home for a vacation made it all worth it! I highly recommend this place, not to mention the property owners were amazing also, very communicative and responsive. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend to anyone! The community had so much to offer while there, it was seriously right in the middle of everything from food wise, activity wise., ect.,

House pictures don't do justice! It was beautifully clean & lay out was perfect for family. Open floor plan from kitchen to dining to living room areas. Bedrooms & baths very spacious. Apt was also super nice! I'd love to stay again & hopefully I will 2023.

The pictures to this property don’t fully do it justice-it is even better in person! Our large family enjoyed everything about this house & the amenities of the community in which it is located. The young people enjoyed having the pool, sand volleyball court, & tennis/basketball courts right across the street. The adults especially enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen with double oven, the comfy sitting areas in the house & outside, & the convenience of a washer/dryer on each floor of the house + in the apartment. The house &!apartment we’re both clean, with plenty of linens & beach towels. The beds were comfortable for a good night’s rest. The beach is a very short walk away(about 0.3 mi) & there are several nice restaurants within walking distance, as well. The bunk room was cool, but the top 2 bunks were a lil too close together for our kids to use-luckily, we had a blowup mattress, which solved that issue! Oh, we also found the outdoor storage box to have all we needed for relaxing on the beach-a wagon & several beach chairs, to go along with a volleyball, basketball, & cornhole boards. Cecilia, the host, was very good to respond to a couple of questions we had. Everything was perfect, including the daily visit by the ice cream truck!!😎

Omg..... You guys deserve an 5 star most definitely.... This was one spectacular trip for my family and l .... We've enjoy every second while we was there... We were able to cook if we need to or go out to restaurants....The property has some of the most beautiful stunning views. It was also 4 min from the beach. Staying at your property made us feel very comfortable at your home the entire stay. Everything, we needed far as cleaning supplies, dishes, and towels etc...... Everything you could think of was there on the property...

Great layout. Clean. Abundance of space. Great terraces to enjoy a sunrise Or sunset! Large TVs. Comfortable beds. Clean linens. Awesome kitchen! Fabulous apartment w additional rooms on bottom level w a separate washer/dryer and little kitchen. Highly recommend this VRBO!

The property was very nice and easily accommodated our family for Thanksgiving. The kitchen has 2 ovens, which is always a plus. The apartment is a great bonus and was very nice for my newlywed daughter and her husband. Cecillia was easy to communicate with. When we thought the dishwasher had stopped working, she helped ius resolve it over the phone and then gave us some great tips on restaurants and a nail spa.

I love everything but the bump bed. They were to closed together. But the trip was nice. Put a smile on my boys face. Thank You.

This property was perfect for our large family. It had plenty of space and bunk beds for the kids. It was walking distance to the beach. Only downside to this house the stairs to the main house! Apartment was a huge bonus. Definitely recommend this place!

We had an amazing family vacation at this property. The property had everything we needed! The apartment was great for our older children to have some space “away” from the adults and younger children. The bunk room in the master was great to allow the cousins to spend time together. All of the bedrooms were HUGE! Cecilia checked in on us via messages to make sure everything was okay. There are a million light switches but they are all labeled to make it easier. We would definitely look into staying at this property if in the area again. It was amazing!

My sisters and our families visit Destin every summer. We require lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of space. Our kids range in age from 16 to 21. So we have to be able accommodate various age groups. The young adults loved the separate apartment. It was spacious and self contained. Also, the main house kitchen was fitted with a double oven and ample space for meal accommodations. Kitchen cabinets were clearly labeled so everything was very easy to find.This house was perfect. We would definitely use it again.
