The house, property and overall experience was great! We had everything and more that we needed for cooking. The games were an additional bonus. The deer roaming the yard and neighborhood were exciting to see. The view from the porch was a great place for coffee in the morning and sunsets in the evening. You can tell that the owners take pride in their property and by all means, they should. Interaction with Alma was very pleasant.

Great weekend retreat for Mother’s Day weekend. Wonderful view and very comfortable. This house was better than expected. The game room was a win win for the 6 year old to the 60 year old.

Alma and Jake were fantastic hosts. This house has everything you need for a great vacation. Well equipt and well cared for. We have rented a lot of vrbos over the years and really appreciate the little touches. They have done a great job in helping guests enjoy there stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was an amazing property. The decor and cleanliness were equivalent to a 5-star hotel. We had a group of 10 family members stay over Thanksgiving and had a lovely time. The kitchen was well appointed with all the cooking tools, dishes, cookware, and even two ovens and two microwaves. It was perfect for a big family feast! The location is across from the lake and about 15 minutes from the closest grocery store. Not many nearby restaurants, but that was okay for our group. Alma was a great host who communicated clearly and promptly with any questions we had. We will definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again in the future.

We were in town for a wedding. Decided to extend stay a night to catch up with friends. Property is updated and very comfortable. Loved the views from the front porch. Lot's of deer and other wildlife. Our stay was one night, but definately would be nice to return and stay longer. Awesome property.

This house is great for a large group. 5 bedrooms and all the rooms are great size as well. They refinished the home and it’s beautifully done. Another positive is the boat dock is accessible even when the lake is low!

Place was clean and well maintained. Very good location and having the boat slip was awesome although being across the street it was a long walk. Some of that is lake level which also left you wading water to the boat slip. But that is just Lake Travis. The place was really nice and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home with plenty of room and the rooms were all good size. We were also able to fit two boats in one drive way. The kitchen and dining area was very big with plenty of room.

Amazing family memories were made and we will definitely be coming back. The house was gorgeous and had everything you needed. We arrived with just our clothes and didn't need to get anything else. Took the family there for my dad's 70th birthday. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of roof. Very clean and had access to the water. Would definitely go again.

We loved our time at Alma’s house. The pictures do not do it justice. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything we could need. The lake view was stunning. Our group had a difficult time finding Uber’s/Lyfts from the location, but we were able to use a cab company. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip!

This was an amazing house! Me and my family had a great time! The host was easy to contact and the house had lots of room for our guest of 10! The lake and its views was the highlight of the trip! We plan a family lake Travis trip every year and this house is was awesome!!! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space for the whole family. It’s across the street from the lake but still a short walk to the lake!! We will definitely stay at this house again!!

We had such a great time staying at the Highland Lakes Estate. WE were a group of 9 mamas just needing a weekend away. We loved the big table where we could all comfortably eat and play games. Alma was very easy to work with and went above and beyond when I was having trouble during the booking process. She also sent a handyman within hours after I messaged her about a bed breaking. We were all very pleased with our stay and would stay again in a heart beat.
