The breakfast options we chose (French toast, porridge, another meal I can't remember the name of) were delicious. I was satisfied with the breakfast options. Room was clean and modern, could not fault. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, especially during check in and arriving back to the hotel during late nights out. We thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Location was also good as we were able to walk into town (if you can brave the heat).

I can't seem to fault our stay, it was everything we needed in a holiday accommodation.

When you come back to the hotel and want a swim it's soooo pack, it's almost impossible to go for a swim...

Was expecting rooms were bigger compared to other hotels we stayed.

The room was clean, room service was great, air conditioning worked very well too.

I didn't like the garden roaches coming into the room through the bottom of the door.

Service was pretty slow/poor from a few people, otherwise it was great stay. I’d call through to reception for towels and toilet paper and was waiting half a day. Ended up going downstairs to get myself, as well as other items that I had requested. Drinks, sugar, face cloths…

Rooms are nice and air con great.

The staff. The lift was not working & we were stuck in it. Calling out to staff & pressing the alarm with not much help at all. When approached the staff said he fixed it - but he didn’t know what he fixed. No signs or notices to advice lift is still playing up. Also asked for a spare towel, they provided me with a dirty one. Lastly on arrival the reception could not understand English - trying to check on early. On top of - no one was swimming as the pool looked green!

Great location, bedroom and bed/linen great. Stand out staff, friendly and helpful beyond the call of duty, particularly Tiperia.

Food was great modern Western. A little more fresh tropical fruit and vegetable choices would have been nice.

The service that was provided to us and the loud locals that stays in the late hours of the night. Our first day/night, the power kept going off. The food and the drinks were overly priced. The atmosphere/vibe was not good at all. The worse hotel I have stayed at. The gym was a joke as it was just outside our room in the lobby, and the gym equipment didn't look safe to use. Such a small space.

Location was good but description of rooms having balconies and decks was incorrect the rooms were dormitory style

Rooms have no views and on arriving door wouldn't lock they had to get maintenance men in also rooms next to dining room which had music going to 11pm each nite

The order intake of the food was very bad. Food was always late regardless of what time it is ordered Some of the rooms were dirty. Need more training - are in a rush to collect the money but not bothered with the service that they render.

Great friendly hotel, close to town

The bottom rooms on either side of the restaurant. On a night when they had a singer on it was very loud in hotel room.

Rooms were new and fresh. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Located within walking distance to Apia township.

I requested a quiet room but we were on the ground floor so we got all the noise from the lobby and restaurant - it felt as if we had the party in our room and we couldn't get away from it. Unfortunately, the designer of the hotel didn't take advantage of the lovely coastal views so we looked out onto the grubby building next door. Children were allowed to run through the hotel corridors and stairwell unchecked - many were jumping on the furniture in the lobby as if it was a trampoline. Swimming pool was commandeered by families having children's birthday parties. One of our children got a large cut on their leg (it required stitches) from a broken tile in the pool. The pool was in the shadow of the building all afternoon so didn't warm up.

Location was very good as within walking distance to Apia. Lovely pool although no shade at all around it...needs umbrellas and lounges. Comfortable bed, plenty of hanging and wardrobe space. Plenty of parking around the back. Chromecast TV was a nice addition. Gym facilities were pretty good. Lunch and dinner menu was good but breakfast wasn't the greatest.

Room service was not great...for 2 days in a row we were only supplied with 1 towel for 2 people. The rubbish bin in the room was emptied on second day but a new liner was not put in for the remainder of stay. Rubbish bin in bathroom was not emptied. We returned to our room at around 3pm one day and found housekeeping still doing the room but it seems that she had just used our toilet and a terrible odour was still in the room. Waitstaff was not transparent about what was included in complimentary breakfast which resulted in an unexpected charge. Other issue was a charge for food to our room that we did not order, this was eventually rectified but frustrating to discover. Bathroom very small with a larger person perhaps finding it difficult to use toilet comfortably. We were only supplied with 1 access card and when we asked for another we were told it was a $50 tala fee for the second one however it very clearly states on the information channel on the TV that 2 access cards would be supplied upon check in. We usually stay at a different hotel close by but thought we would give Lava a go...we won't be back though sadly.
