Highly recommended. The property was tastefully decorated, clean, supplied and comfortable. We found it as it was described, the stairs to the upper apartment, indeed would not accommodate anyone with a handicap or very elderly. We enjoyed our stay visiting family and seeing sights in Chicago. Parking is a little tricky but our host was kind and a good communicator. We would definitely stay there again.

We booked this place for a long weekend with the intention of leaving the car in Oak Park and taking the train into town. This apartment is in the perfect location - easy walking distance to the blue line. The apartment itself has been renovated and is very upscale. We were impressed with the place. We will be booking again!

Perfect location for a weekend getaway to downtown Chicago. Communication was great & description is spot on. Loved the at home feel of the place.

We had an enjoyable stay in the property, which was very clean and comfortable. The stairs to the 2nd floor unit are fairly narrow, but we were able to manage ok. The property was a short 3-minute walk to a CTA Blue Line L-train and buses. We used public transit for our entire stay. An artsy area is located withing walking distance. We took the bus to get groceries.

Nice property. Good central location to downtown Chicago and to the Rosemont center Where the sports card show was. Slept and provided space for the three of us very comfortably. We would stay here again.

We loved this spot! Conveniently located to things we wanted to visit and easy access to the city. Beautifully decorated and clean/comfy. The hosts were lovely and communicated well!

This place is super close to the Blue line station. Very convenient to only have to walk a few minutes to get to the train. The place was clean and full of comfy, premium furniture. No complaints!!

I would highly suggest this site to family and friends. Was minutes away from amazing food and attractions! Host was so nice and apartment was clean and modern. Wonderful stay!

House was as pictured, maybe even seemed bigger than I expected. 3 minute walk to the blue line was nice. Easy in and out of the city. (About 30 min train ride to down town) Neighborhood seemed nice. Walked to a restaurant Taqueria Los Altos De Jal which I would definitely recommend checking out if you stay here. The food was delicious. Overall, I’d stay here again while visiting Chicago. Also took a drive to Indiana Dunes National Park from here and it was an easy hour drive.

We enjoyed our stay at Dwayne's place. The apartment is cozy and comfortable and so close to everything! Great neighborhood with fun places to eat and shop nearby. The Blue Line is just steps away if you want to explore more.

We came up to Chicago for the weekend, and this property was absolutely stunning! The decor, the cleanliness, the neighborhood, everything, it was amazing. It was a great place to call home at the end of the day during our Chicago adventures.

Although the pictures shown are accurate, this place was filthy with a poor description. To begin, the only way in(allowed) is a winding very steep staircase and most stairs were so small you could barely get half your foot on. Very dangerous. It was icy and has snowed 2 days prior. The outside stairs and walk were not cared for properly and didn’t have salt on them. We should have said something but didn’t and my husband fell, hurting his hip and ankle pretty bad and thankfully not hitting his head. He is in good shape, but if it had been my 78 yr old mom, the outcome may have been very different. I messaged the owner and told him, asking him to put salt on the stairs and he did, but very little. He didn’t apologize or ask if my husband was ok. Just responded “ok” to the text. I believe the owner lives downstairs. There was a constant strong marijuana smell in the place. The kitchen and appliances were filthy. Dirty rags under the sink. Microwave above stove broken. There was a replacement one on the counter not seen in pics taking up counter space. My mom took about an hour cleaning the sink, the sink strainer and stove when we got there. The soap container in the bathroom was empty and I had to find the soap in a cabinet in the kitchen and refill it. There also was not a book with info of nearby places or with WiFi password etc. The front bedroom bed was basically on the floor, making it hard to get out of so my husband and I switched with my mom since she would’ve never been able to get out of it. Dirty drawers with tags from clothing in them. I did message the owner ahead of time if there were Ubers and what was nearby. He never answered. He did however let us check in early. We made lemonade out of lemons, but the place was not clean at all and especially with the amount of the cleaning fee we paid. He should have paid us this for the cleaning we did. Would not recommend.

We really enjoyed the apartment. It was everything we expected. Dwayne communicated promptly and we have no complaints.

Family of 3 stayed for a long weekend. Great location - easy to drive or take the train to downtown for sightseeing, close to a lot of great restaurants and shopping locally in Oak Park, and lots of parking available. Property was as described and no issues. Easy communication and check in with owner.

We had the best, short little stay in this place! My friend and I could not get over how perfect everything was for us, from the location to the easy communication with Dwayne, we had such a smooth stay! The place was beautifully decorated, everything was clean and very comfortable, and there was also parking right out front which was great! Dwayne was so quick to help us find a breakfast spot for the morning we left, and also let us know about “street sweeping” so we wouldn’t get a ticket on our car. He was so wonderful and truly provided an amazing, safe place for us to stay!! I can’t say enough good things about this place and this host- we will definitely be back!

For our group, we LOVED this property. We were here for a sports events, as a team of 4. The space is certainly excellent for short to medium term stays. Bedrooms and living space are bigger than they appear. We had 2 in one room, 1 in another, and 1 on heavy sleeper on the couch. All were happy. Excellent table for the board games we brought - warning, we were butts and didn't realize at first how much sound could travel to downstairs on a weeknight (telestrations at 1030pm can get loud apparently!) . Once we realized, we re-adjusted and all was fine and easy. Super embarrassed and happy to accommodate. Plenty of room in kitchen if needed. Shower pressure was great.. I didn't try but roomies were confused on coffee machine. Wifi was great. Code locks were easy. Only other comment is that if you're driving in, it's not clear in the listing that you need to be off the street 8-10 on weekdays (only reason online listing is a 4/5), no matter what. That worked OK for us, given our sports and brunch schedule, but may not work for others. Great value for the place. Would recommend to anyone.

What a great find this place was. Super easy access to I-290 on a very quiet and safe street. Central location made it easy getting from Ohare to Wrigley field to downtown. The apartment is really nice - very clean and comfortable- only wish we could have stayed longer.
