It was new and clean! The design of the house was lovely! Very warm and spacious. My family enjoyed the home very much. The private sauna was so great. We were so glad to have booked this place. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to pyha.

Wonderful apartment which we can fully recommend. Everything was better than expected. We really enjoyed the private Sauna (which is connected to the bathroom, two showers next to each other), the kitchen, the view, the snow fatbike tour which we booked in the village, the hiking possibilities (the national park is just 100m away). The entry to the apartment is separated with heated floor to dry the snowy shoes. The apartment has a washing machine, dryer and a dryer for shoes, which was great. The floor in the bathroom is also heated. Two separated sleeping rooms and the additional couch in the living room, absolutely enough space. We stayed in house 21B (Apartment A and B are always in each house), which is the last and a bit hidden behind the trees to the first family ski slopes. Really amazing, we so, so much loved it! Thank you again so much!

The property consists of several semi-detached houses (two apartments per each house) right at the slopes and a short walk to the national park entrance. You will get an OK view to the slopes and up to the mountain - "b" apartments have slightly better view up the hill than "a" apartments. Everything looked and felt like brand new (late 2022) and there were no major issues during our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped (note that the oven also works in a microwave mode) and for us the beds were extremely comfortable. You can fit a standard-size travel crib in either of the two bedrooms. The entrance door works with a code which you will get prior to your stay - no need to do a separate check-in. The houses are clearly built for rental stays, so you may not find the luxury things like high ceilings or a hot tub you may find in properties designed for private use, but all the equipment and appliances are high quality. It is very easy to drive around and there's free parking available everywhere. At the close-by Pyhä Igloos property, you can rent bikes, snowmobiles, and other equipment!

It was very hard to find anything to complain about :-) Maybe something that could be improved is snow removal from the terrace roof – the snow blocks the view to the sky, especially when you are standing. This could be arranged by the maintenance, or there could be a brush outside with a long shaft (5-6m?) that can be used by all the guests. Just an idea. Also note, that the direct walking route to the nearest restaurants may not be available when the slopes are open. You can walk to the grocery store (pretty good one!) and everywhere in the area, just bear in mind that the hills are quite steep for those that have mobility limitations.

The landscape

The customer service is awful!!. First, they didn't answer the phone and called me back but only one day after. Second, I'm still carrying sickness from that trip. Second, they changed the door code without letting us know; and let us stay outside without letting us know the code from their side; we called to find out why we could not open the door. Overall my personal experience was horrible.

Great location right next to Pyhä and with easy access to the destinations nearby by car. The self-service check-in and check-out process was very convenient. The apartment is almost brand new and high-quality, very clean and has everything one might need for a short or a longer stay.

Perhaps not Pyhä's best scenery location as the terrace is just overlooking the ski lifts, but it's still great for skiers or someone like us, staying the night on a longer road trip.

I loved the great location of this place. Right next to the Snow Park lift. The place was immaculate, with everything you could need. We especially loved the sauna and the fire. Amazing value! The staff who clear the snow were very friendly. Everything was perfect.

Staff was super helpful, flexible and warm on any matter we had. Everything was new and shiny but still with good taste. Location is superb. National park and slopes just from the backyard. We even saw reindeers couple of times just by walking the National park for 10 minutes.

Kitchen could have had measurement cup and shredder. Coffee measurement spoon maybe too. To make it still better fix the doors to fit better. Bed rooms could also use ceiling lamps this time of year it was quite dim.

Everything was perfect! Check-in was easy with the door code. The place was roomy, everything we needed was in the kitchen, loved the bio fireplace in the terrace and the heater. Exceptionally clean. It was right next to the start of the nature trail and also just a bit away from the touristic center of Pyhä so it was very quiet and lovely. We were 2 but there was enough room for 4 comfortably and even 6 would fit nicely. Also loved all of the products with blueberry and nearly every element was Finnish design. Just beautiful. We will definitely be back.

The only thing I can mention is it would have been good to have some kind of coverage or curtains in the terrace so you can still enjoy it and have some privacy when it is busy outside as well.
